Welcome to the World of Biblical Prophecy for History and Today

This Blog is intended to help myself and others gain the best understanding of the world around us through exploration of prophetic scripture. The Bible is the text book. Through these studies we will hopefully provide understanding to both believer and unbeliever alike. The way our God and our Savior Jesus distinguish themselves in the spiritual world is through prophetic means. In other words what the Bible teaches us through fullfillment of these prophecies shows us the truth. Let's take some prophetic journeys through history and at the same time learn about the world around us today. Please try and be patient with any typographical errors as I am my own typist and my own research staff. Thanks

America: Sounding His Alarms Hearing His Warnings

Politics and Religion Face to Face
The Wise Man, the Hypocrite and the Truth

Rom 1:18-32 KJV
(18)For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
(19)Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
(20)For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
(21)Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
(22)Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
(23)And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
(24)Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
(25)Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
(26)For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
(27)And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
(28)And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
(29)Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
(30)Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
(31)Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
(32)Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Well friends it’s often said that politics and religion are forbidden subjects to be discussed. It’s quite obvious for some however that how can you spread the gospel without talking about it to some extent to say the least. On the other subject involved let’s just see how politics and religion works in scripture.

The word David as in the biblical king appears 1139 times in the Bible. There are 59 out of that number in the NT. Jesus Himself uses the name around 13 times. Would it seem that God had a plan for the future of Israel. David’s life is covered almost cradle to grave in scripture. Some no doubt are already asking so what? Well for starters David was the primary example for us as a human leader designated by God to rule. Let’s just get this straight and to the point. If you think you should not delve into this then go do something else no one is forcing anyone’s hand here. Let’s just say that brother Al has had enough with the obvious attacks being guided in the shadows by evil upon the very foundational beliefs of our faith. That being said and if you are a regular reader then you know remarks have been made on every living president since LBJ to recent president Bush. Who’s name it seems is invoked every time our current leadership steps in the proverbial (no pun intended)poop so to speak. No this ol’ preacher ain’t afraid to say president Obama. Let’s understand and be clear that there are many others even in the ranks of his administration that seem to spout rather unsound wisdom and somehow try to find a scripture to support “themselves”. Now let’s just get to it with the “wise man“, the hypocrite and the truth.

If you are a student or minister of prophecy or any type of scripture if you like then you are most likely into the news that shapes the world. Just slow down right here It’s up to you to decide what you here and decipher. However there are certain definite biblically sound issues that for some odd reason or whatever you choose that makes this stuff our business as believers. This is not going to be a speech we are going to tear this apart with the Bible. Let’s explore this opening passage for a few moments.

Rom 1:18 KJV
(18)For the wrathG3709 of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodlinessG763and unrighteousnessG93 of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Among the reasons we should look at these words would be that “the wrath” described is very real and Hell is very much a real place of torment. It is also very much intended for all of us.

Rom 3:21-31 KJV
(21)But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
(22)Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
(23)For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
(24)Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
(25)Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
(26)To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
(27)Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
(28)Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
(29)Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
(30)Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
(31)Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Luk 19:9-10 KJV
(9)And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
(10)For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Joh 14:6-7 KJV
(6)Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
(7)If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

One crazy thought that just occurred to yours truly is that there is no doubt that president Obama is not repeat not a Muslim. The more accurate question should be is he a Christian? This issue is raised not because of personal likes or dislikes but because of the very passage of scripture from Romans 1. Like we said earlier we are going to rip this matter up with the Bible.
Then we will make a challenge to anyone to dispute what the Bible says.

The BIG issue here that deserves its own line is we are beginning this journey in the NT. (New Testament)

Let’s proceed with our journey by picking up in Romans 1:19. That’s a passage of scripture by the way not just something yours truly made up.

Rom 1:19 KJV

Rom 1:19 KJV(19)Because that which may be knownG1110 of God is manifestG5318 in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

Let’s explore some of the things God has wanted us to know since the beginning in a common sense type of fashion. The reasons for all this will clearly be pointed out because this preacher in particular is fed up with the assaults blatantly committed upon the Christian faith in general by our leader president Obama and those in his administration or ranks. We can start with the most important, basic and simple subjects to figure out. Yes life!
One of the first things noted by yours truly was during the Rick Warren Saddleback Forum inviting Obama and Mccain to address the audience.

Human Life
The Wise Man

WARREN: Yes. Let’s go through the tough ones. Now, the most –

OBAMA: I thought that was pretty tough.

WARREN: That was a freebie. That was a gimme. That was a gimme, OK? Now, let’s deal with abortion; 40 million abortions since Roe v. Wade. As a pastor, I have to deal with this all of the time, all of the pain and all of the conflicts. I know this is a very complex issue. Forty million abortions, at what point does a baby get human rights, in your view?

OBAMA: Well, you know, I think that whether you’re looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity, you know, is above my pay grade.

WARREN: Have you –

OBAMA: But let me just speak more generally about the issue of abortion, because this is something obviously the country wrestles with. One thing that I’m absolutely convinced of is that there is a moral and ethical element to this issue. And so I think anybody who tries to deny the moral difficulties and gravity of the abortion issue, I think, is not paying attention. So that would be point number one.

But point number two, I am pro-choice. I believe in Roe v. Wade, and I come to that conclusion not because I’m pro-abortion, but because, ultimately, I don’t think women make these decisions casually. I think they — they wrestle with these things in profound ways, in consultation with their pastors or their spouses or their doctors or their family members. And so, for me, the goal right now should be — and this is where I think we can find common ground. And by the way, I’ve now inserted this into the Democratic party platform, is how do we reduce the number of abortions? The fact is that although we have had a president who is opposed to abortion over the last eight years, abortions have not gone down and that is something we have to address.

WARREN: Have you ever voted to limit or reduce abortions?

OBAMA: I am in favor, for example, of limits on late-term abortions, if there is an exception for the mother’s health. From the perspective of those who are pro-life, I think they would consider that inadequate, and I respect their views. One of the things that I’ve always said is that on this particular issue, if you believe that life begins at conception, then — and you are consistent in that belief, then I can’t argue with you on that, because that is a core issue of faith for you.

What I can do is say, are there ways that we can work together to reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies, so that we actually are reducing the sense that women are seeking out abortions. And as an example of that, one of the things that I’ve talked about is how do we provide the resources that allow women to make the choice to keep a child. You know, have we given them the health care that they need? Have we given them the support services that they need? Have we given them the options of adoption that are necessary? That can make a genuine difference.

First let me say when members of the clergy state that abortion is a complex issue that in itself is a little disturbing. Second let me say that if we are Bible believing Christians president Obama and his thoughts about the subject are unimportant as with any other leader who “wrestles” with the word of God. Mostly because like we like to say around here we read the Bible. In our society here in America we can see the realms of political correctness creeping into the elect. Now let’s explore this “complex issue” by what Jesus and the Bible have to say. No better place to start than at the beginning.

Gen 1:26-28 KJV
(26)And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
(27)So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
(28)And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

The verses covered in this passage can be used for teaching in many different areas. Among these abortion, marriage, earth worship, animal worship and population control efforts just to name a few. We can actually come back to this passage in full concert with Jesus’ teachings almost in the same order these issues are addressed. However we are going to look at president Obama’s “actions prove louder than words” philosophy on the subject of life.

OBAMA: Well, you know, I think that whether you’re looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity, you know, is above my pay grade.

Well if we consider the above passage from the date of creation we can clearly see that God commanded the earth be populated without restriction. The president’s answer also seems too much an effort to talk out of both sides of his mouth( I.e. “theological or scientific“). O.K. we can define these viewpoints clear and simple. Theological is creation and scientific is evolution. Let’s just take a look and see what scripture says about life and the unborn child.

Mat 18:10-11 KJV
(10)Take heed that ye despiseG2706 not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angelsG32 do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
(11)For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

Most Bible believing Christians have their favorite passages no doubt to put forth in their righteous battles. This one strikes the closest to home for yours truly concerning the unborn child. Please take note of verse 10 when Jesus tells us the angels of these little ones behold the face of His Father. Let’s look at this for a moment. However please let me add this extra little bit before we dive into word study.

Rom 1:21-23 KJV
(21)Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
(22)Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
(23)And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

You see? We have the subjects addressed in infinite wisdom a long time before any of our leaders formed an opinion. It’s pretty simple!

Rom 1:21-23 KJV
(21)Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

This is creation

(22)Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
(23)And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

This is Evolution

Now back to the real point

Mat 18:10-11 KJV
(10)Take heed that ye despiseG2706 not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angelsG32 do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
(11)For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

(15)But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

So no doubt someone out there wants to push brother Al’s buttons and say what’s the big deal? Well how many people do we know that saw God’s face on a regular basis in other words passing the time away looking at God the Father’s face. There are very few we know of in the scripture that even spoke with the Lord face to face. In other words here it appears that the angels of the little ones that are disdained or thought little of are sitting in Heaven staring constantly into the Father’s face. AMEN

The Hypocrite
The fact is that although we have had a president who is opposed to abortion over the last eight years, abortions have not gone down and that is something we have to address.

Well guess what? The facts are this our current president according to the Washington Post Fact Checker holds the following distinction:

Obama's voting record on abortion
By Michael Dobbs

The Facts

Obama has had difficulty explaining some of his
129 "present" votes in the Illinois legislature on issues such as promoting school discipline and prohibiting sex shops near places of worship. In the case of his votes on the anti-abortion legislation, however, he has had a solid alibi. The Illinois branch of the Planned Parenthood organization has given him a "100 percent" pro-choice voting rating and depicted the present votes as part of a previously agreed strategy to provide political cover for other legislators.

Under the rules of the Illinois legislature, a present vote effectively functions as a no vote because only yes votes count toward passage of a bill. Legislators vote "present" rather than "no" for a variety of tactical reasons, including making it more difficult for their political opponents to use their votes against them in campaign advertisements.

"We worked on the 'present' vote strategy with Obama," said Pam Sutherland, chief lobbyist for the Illinois branch of Planned Parenthood, an abortion rights group. "He was willing to vote 'no', and was always going to be a 'no' vote for us."

Sutherland said Planned Parenthood calculated that a 'present' vote by Obama would encourage other senators to cast a similar vote, rather than voting for the legislation. "They were worried about direct mail pieces against them. The more senators voted present, the harder it was to mount an issues campaign against the senator."

Here is a full list of Obama's seven 'present' votes on issues related to abortion:
1997 Votes
SB 230 Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act. Senate approved bill 44-7, with five senators voting present, including Obama.

New Act Creates the Partial-birth Abortion Ban Act. Prohibits partial-birth abortions unless necessary to save the life of a mother whose life is endangered by a physical disorder, physical illness, or physical injury, provided that no other medical procedure would suffice for that purpose. Makes performance of a partial-birth abortion a Class 4 felony. Provides for a civil action by the father and maternal grandparents of the fetus. Prohibits prosecution of a woman on whom a partial-birth abortion is performed. Effective 60 days after becoming law.
2001 Votes

HB 1900 Parental Notice of Abortion Act. Bill passed 38-10, with nine present votes, including Obama.

SB 562 Parental Notice of Abortion Act. Bill passed Senate 39-7, with 11 present votes, including Obama.

SB 1093 Law to protect Liveborn children. Bill passed 34-6, with 12 present, including Obama.

SB 1094 Bill to protect children born as result of induced labor abortion. Bill passed 33-6, with 13 present, including Obama.

SB 1095 Bill defining "born alive" defines "born-alive infant" to include infant "born alive at any stage of development." Bill passed 34-5, with nine present, including Obama.

Take this as you will but this ol’ preacher does not consider present as voting for or against partial birth abortion the most important aspect being the latter. At this point the details of all the above can be left for your own indulgence. However as a leader if Obama questions the amount of abortions in relationship to a clearly pro-life president should not his record at least have shown some effort to help.

Mat 5:34-37 KJV
(34)But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
(35)Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
(36)Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
(37)But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Mat 19:13-14 KJV
(13)Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
(14)But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Mar 10:13-16 KJV
(13)And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.
(14)But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
(15)Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
(16)And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

Luk 18:15-17 KJV
(15)And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them.
(16)But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
(17)Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

Pro 8:32-36 KJV
(32)Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.
(33)Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
(34)Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
(35)For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.
(36)But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

Deu 30:19-20 KJV
(19)I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
(20)That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
The Truth

Now we have explored through scripture to gain every demonstration of the so-called complex issue of life let’s explore the truth we can gain regarding special circumstances.

One of the children we know that has been looking upon God’s face was a child that was conceived out of the realms of God’s law which involves King David.

2Sa 12:1-14 KJV
(1)And the LORD sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor.
(2)The rich man had exceeding many flocks and herds:
(3)But the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter.
(4)And there came a traveller unto the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but took the poor man's lamb, and dressed it for the man that was come to him.
(5)And David's anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As the LORD liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die:(6)And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.
(7)And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;
(8)And I gave thee thy master's house, and thy master's wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things.
(9)Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

(10)Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.
(11)Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.
(12)For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.
(13)And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.
(14)Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.

Many comments are available concerning what happens here in this passage concerning this child. We must realize that the actions taken to produce this child were in blatant and willful violation of every standing rule with God. God could not allow this act to be involved in a lineage that would lead to a sinless Messiah. We have to take into consideration God’s the One who ordained this judgment not the act of a doctor or politician.

Mat 6:31-34 KJV
(31)Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
(32)(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
(33)But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
(34)Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
One example we can use is the rape argument.

The daughter of Jacob and Leah ironically who was the only daughter born unto Jacob was raped by Shechem .

Gen 34:1-17 KJV
(1)And Dinah the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land.
(2)And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her, and lay with her, and defiled her.
(3)And his soul clave unto Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the damsel, and spake kindly unto the damsel.
(4)And Shechem spake unto his father Hamor, saying, Get me this damsel to wife.
(5)And Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter: now his sons were with his cattle in the field: and Jacob held his peace until they were come.
(6)And Hamor the father of Shechem went out unto Jacob to commune with him.
(7)And the sons of Jacob came out of the field when they heard it: and the men were grieved, and they were very wroth, because he had wrought folly in Israel in lying with Jacob's daughter; which thing ought not to be done.
(8)And Hamor communed with them, saying, The soul of my son Shechem longeth for your daughter: I pray you give her him to wife.
(9)And make ye marriages with us, and give your daughters unto us, and take our daughters unto you.
(10)And ye shall dwell with us: and the land shall be before you; dwell and trade ye therein, and get you possessions therein.
(11)And Shechem said unto her father and unto her brethren, Let me find grace in your eyes, and what ye shall say unto me I will give.
(12)Ask me never so much dowry and gift, and I will give according as ye shall say unto me: but give me the damsel to wife.
(13)And the sons of Jacob answered Shechem and Hamor his father deceitfully, and said, because he had defiled Dinah their sister:
(14)And they said unto them, We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to one that is uncircumcised; for that were a reproach unto us:
(15)But in this will we consent unto you: If ye will be as we be, that every male of you be circumcised;
(16)Then will we give our daughters unto you, and we will take your daughters to us, and we will dwell with you, and we will become one people.
(17)But if ye will not hearken unto us, to be circumcised; then will we take our daughter, and we will be gone.

Does it sound as though Jacob would have put either his daughter or an unborn child to death because of this matter? Some commentary even suggests there was a birth of a daughter who went on to become Joseph’s wife in Egypt. None the less there was no way Jacob would have allowed this to happen especially since there was an honorable deal with the Hivites to become circumcised.

How about Incest?

Yes we have a biblical account of this prior to the Law being given.

Gen 38:25-30 KJV
(25)When she was brought forth, she sent to her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these are, am I with child: and she said, Discern, I pray thee, whose are these, the signet, and bracelets, and staff.
(26)And Judah acknowledged them, and said, She hath been more righteous than I; because that I gave her not to Shelah my son. And he knew her again no more.
(27)And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb.
(28)And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first.
(29)And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? this breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez.
(30)And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.

The reason this is important is found when we see the genealogy of Jesus Christ.

Mat 1:1-3 KJV
(1)The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
(2)Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;
(3)And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;

What do you know we found that Phares was responsible for completing the genealogy of Matthew.

Oh yes let’s explore that big one the health of the mother.

Gen 35:17-20 KJV
(17)And it came to pass, when she was in hard labour, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also.
(18)And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin.
(19)And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem.
(20)And Jacob set a pillar upon her grave: that is the pillar of Rachel's grave unto this day.

It’s hard to imagine but we did actually live in a society in which carrying on the family name or tradition so to speak was very much at play in the works of God. Just look at the case of Abraham and Sarah. Sarah was so distressed over not having a child for Abraham she was willing to let another woman have him. Now we are so willing in society to be sexually immoral we have had over 40 million abortions just since the time of Roe v Wade. Now the challenge is issued to find anywhere in the scripture it was a choice in preventing a kingdom from being birthed.

After all did God give Mary a choice when announcing the birth of the Messiah?

Mat 1:17-25 KJV
(17)So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
(18)Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
(19)Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
(20)But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
(21)And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
(22)Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
(23)Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
(24)Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
(25)And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Does it sound like God said Mary if you decide not to kill Jesus we will have a Messiah. No! Do you think Mary would have chosen her own life as opposed to giving birth to the Messiah due to a medical condition? No!

Luk 1:46-49 KJV
(46)And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
(47)And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
(48)For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
(49)For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.

In closing this journey we should note one last perspective about God’s word and the unborn child. No where in the scripture do we see a situation where a public announcement from God concerning the birth of a child involves any other terminology as a form of life. For example there are no embryos or fetuses to God. In other words a human child is not to be compared to a dog, fish, pig or any other kind animal that we can just dispose of at will without facing any type of judgment. Even in the cases where the outcome produces what we know as enemies of God He allows the miracle of life to take place.

Gen 11:30 KJV
(30)But Sarai was barren; she had no child.

Gen 16:8-12 KJV
(8)And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.
(9)And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.
(10)And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.
(11)And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.
(12)And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

Gen 18:6-12 KJV
(6)And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.
(7)And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.
(8)And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.
(9)And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.
(10)And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.
(11)Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.
(12)Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?

Gen 25:19-26 KJV
(19)And these are the generations of Isaac, Abraham's son: Abraham begat Isaac:
(20)And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.
(21)And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
(22)And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD.
(23)And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
(24)And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.(25)And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.
(26)And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.

1Sa 1:19-20 KJV
(19)And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.
(20)Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.

Psa 22:9-10 KJV
(9)But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.
(10)I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

Psa 58:1-3 KJV
(1)To the chief Musician, Altaschith, Michtam of David. Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
(2)Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
(3)The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.

Psa 71:4-6 KJV
(4)Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
(5)For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth.
(6)By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee.

Psa 127:1-5 KJV
(1)A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
(2)It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
(3)Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
(4)As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
(5)Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Psa 139:13-16 KJV
(13)For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
(14)I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
(15)My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
(16)Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

Mat 18:1-11 KJV
(1)At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
(2)And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
(3)And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
(4)Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
(5)And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
(6)But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
(7)Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
(8)Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
(9)And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
(10)Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
(11)For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
