Welcome to the World of Biblical Prophecy for History and Today

This Blog is intended to help myself and others gain the best understanding of the world around us through exploration of prophetic scripture. The Bible is the text book. Through these studies we will hopefully provide understanding to both believer and unbeliever alike. The way our God and our Savior Jesus distinguish themselves in the spiritual world is through prophetic means. In other words what the Bible teaches us through fullfillment of these prophecies shows us the truth. Let's take some prophetic journeys through history and at the same time learn about the world around us today. Please try and be patient with any typographical errors as I am my own typist and my own research staff. Thanks

Prepare for the Onslaught 4

Cities of Refuge as Opposed to Sanctuary Cities
Illegal Immigration and the Bible Revisited

The Sermon on the Mount

Mat 5:1 KJV  And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

The Beatitudes

Mat 5:2-12 KJV  And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,  (3)  Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  (4)  Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.  (5)  Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.  (6)  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.  (7)  Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.  (8)  Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.  (9)  Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.  (10)  Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  (11)  Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.  (12)  Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Salt and Light

Mat 5:13-16 KJV  Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.  (14)  Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  (15)  Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.  (16)  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Christ Came to Fulfill the Law

Mat 5:17-20 KJV  Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.  (18)  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.  (19)  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.  (20)  For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

A Good Soldier of Christ Jesus

2Ti 2:1-13 KJV  Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.  (2)  And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.  (3)  Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.  (4)  No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.  (5)  And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.  (6)  The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.  (7)  Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.  (8)  Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:  (9)  Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.  (10)  Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.  (11)  It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:  (12)  If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:  (13)  If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

A Worker Approved by God

2Ti 2:14-26 KJV  Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.  (15)  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  (16)  But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.  (17)  And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;  (18)  Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.  (19)  Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.  (20)  But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.  (21)  If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.  (22)  Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.  (23)  But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.  (24)  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,  (25)  In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;  (26)  And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

2Ti_2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividingG3718 the word of truth.

Greeting
2Pe 1:1-2 KJV  Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:  (2)  Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

Confirm Your Calling and Election

2Pe 1:3-15 KJV  According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:  (4)  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.  (5)  And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;  (6)  And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;  (7)  And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.  (8)  For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  (9)  But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.  (10)  Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:  (11)  For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  (12)  Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.  (13)  Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;  (14)  Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.  (15)  Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.

Christ's Glory and the Prophetic Word

2Pe 1:16-21 KJV  For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.  (17)  For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.  (18)  And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.  (19)  We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:  (20)  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.  (21)  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

The Baptism of Jesus

Mat 3:13-17 KJV  Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.  (14)  But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?  (15)  And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.  (16)  And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:  (17)  And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

The Transfiguration

Mat 17:1-13 KJV  And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,  (2)  And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.  (3)  And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.  (4)  Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.  (5)  While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.  (6)  And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.  (7)  And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.  (8)  And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.  (9)  And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.  (10)  And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?  (11)  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.  (12)  But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.  (13)  Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

Our introduction passages today deal with getting things right in our journeys with the Lord. Why that is important and the rewards for doing well. Our different aspects of both being Christians and preaching the word correctly. We all do different things for the Lord in our own ways. However when we start mixing up what some may call hot issues (and many are) the scripture should always be the final word. So if we seem salty or abrasive to some in our preaching we only try to provide scripture and rightly announce something that may be pure opinion separately.

Have you ever dealt with someone who constantly wants to throw curve balls so to speak. This is why we have a word called the Bible that God gives us for such matters. If someone simply will not believe no matter what, the Bible tells us what to do.

Jesus Sends Out the Twelve Apostles

Mat 10:11-15 KJV  And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.  (12)  And when ye come into an house, salute it.  (13)  And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.  (14)  And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.  (15)  Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Warning Against Idolatry

1Co 10:1-12 KJV  Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;  (2)  And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;  (3)  And did all eat the same spiritual meat;  (4)  And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.  (5)  But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.  (6)  Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.  (7)  Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.  (8)  Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.  (9)  Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.  (10)  Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.  (11)  Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonitionG3559,upon whom the ends of the world are come.  (12)  Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Children and Parents

Eph 6:1-4 KJV  Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.  (2)  Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)  (3)  That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.  (4)  And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonitionG3559 of the Lord.

Be Ready for Every Good Work

Tit 3:1-11 KJV  Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,  (2)  To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.  (3)  For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.  (4)  But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,  (5)  Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;  (6)  Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;  (7)  That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.  (8)  This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.  (9)  But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.  (10)  A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonitionG3559 reject;  (11)  Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

G3559
νουθεσία
nouthesia
noo-thes-ee'-ah
From G3563 and a derivative of G5087; calling attention to, that is, (by implication) mild rebuke or warning: - admonition.

Well folks today we are revisiting the subject that involved our earliest looks at politics and religion. The journeys Illegal Immigration and the Bible were our earliest and most primitive looking to date. However we are not worried about appearances. We are worried about spreading the word. The reason we initially started those earliest journeys was mostly attributed to a call made by Nancy Pelosi to the church (we believe the Catholic church in this case)to preach immigration issues from the liberal standpoint.

Like most hot ticket issues the answers are simple when we simply stick to scripture meaning in no uncertain terms the Holy Bible. If you want to see an amazing list of crimes and locations to find stats on crime and illegal immigrants check out part 4. We are not going to provide a long list of crimes with this journey we just want to look at the situation from a new time frame. The issue is still the same. There are too many families suffering in America due to the loss of someone in those families. All too often the illegal immigrants who are committing these crimes are walking or disappearing. Believe it or not that seems to be the lawlessness these “sanctuary” cities or in California’s case almost the entire state wants.

Now the stupidity part comes in. We have so called “leaders”? who want the lawlessness to the point they are issuing warnings prior to raids that will get the hard core cases out of here. The warnings in this case provided to help the criminals.

Now would someone answer me this question please? What possible usefulness is the man who killed Kate Steinle serving in this society. He was deported 5 times to our best recollection. So he must not have been a vibrant part of the economy and so on. You see when we have a state and local community celebrating the death of an American citizen as they have and cannot even apologize to the Steinle family without a stupid smile coming across their faces we get our biblical blood to boiling.

So without further waiting let’s explore

Cities of Refuge

Num 35:9-12 KJV  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,  (10)  Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come over Jordan into the land of Canaan;  (11)  Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you; that the slayer may flee thither, which killeth any person at unawares.  (12)  And they shall be unto you cities for refuge from the avenger; that the manslayer die not, until he stand before the congregation in judgment.

As we can see God established these cities for both freedom and restriction. Freedom from an avenging family member in case of an accident. Restriction in the sense that the perpetrator cannot leave the city unless it be understood it could lead to death depending upon circumstances. In any event God always intends justice to be carried out.

Num 35:13-15 KJV  And of these cities which ye shall give six cities shall ye have for refuge.  (14)  Ye shall give three cities on this side Jordan, and three cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan, which shall be cities of refuge.  (15)  These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may flee thither.

As we can see the laws of the God of Israel were for every member of their society. This includes according to the word above strangers and sojourners among the Jewish people. We will look into the names and locations a little later. Joshua chapter 20 gives us the info.

Num 35:16-19 KJV  And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.  (17)  And if he smite him with throwing a stone, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.  (18)  Or if he smite him with an hand weapon of wood, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.  (19)  The revenger of blood himself shall slay the murderer: when he meeteth him, he shall slay him.

Again when we get into the scriptures of the Bible the decisions of what to do are clear. In the Steinle case these passages should speak for themselves. It’s not like someone got pushed to the ground and hit their head or something.

The revenger in this case being the legal family representative of the victim. This should translate into obeying the law and the legal system in our society. In many cases the both are ignored.

Num 35:20-23 KJV  But if he thrust him of hatred, or hurl at him by laying of wait, that he die;  (21)  Or in enmity smite him with his hand, that he die: he that smote him shall surely be put to death; for he is a murderer: the revenger of blood shall slay the murderer, when he meeteth him.  (22)  But if he thrust him suddenly without enmity, or have cast upon him any thing without laying of wait,  (23)  Or with any stone, wherewith a man may die, seeing him not, and cast it upon him, that he die, and was not his enemy, neither sought his harm:

Num 35:24 KJV  Then the congregation shall judge between the slayer and the revenger of blood according to these judgments:

You see God does not miss anything. Now we will look at the types of things the congregation dealt with.

Num 35:25-28 KJV  And the congregation shall deliver the slayer out of the hand of the revenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to the city of his refuge, whither he was fled: and he shall abide in it unto the death of the high priest, which was anointed with the holy oil.  (26)  But if the slayer shall at any time come without the border of the city of his refuge, whither he was fled;  (27)  And the revenger of blood find him without the borders of the city of his refuge, and the revenger of blood kill the slayer; he shall not be guilty of blood:  (28)  Because he should have remained in the city of his refuge until the death of the high priest: but after the death of the high priest the slayer shall return into the land of his possession.

This explaining what a life sentence more or less could turn into. You see if we take to heart the word of the Lord regarding these matters everything serves its purpose. Also look at the last thing this passage mentioned. If the perpetrator leaves the city of refuge he or she becomes fair game. We believe this is another one of those things these sanctuary cities practice lawlessness with. They do not really seem to care where these people land at. Only in today’s society we here at the ministry are not even sure about minimums for cases. As always God laid out the plan.

We recently explored in the man in the myrtle tree journeys the compassion of the Lord in Isaiah 55. Where the Lord declares His ways were not ours.

Isa 55:8-11 KJV  For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.  (9)  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.  (10)  For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:  (11)  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Num 35:29-34 KJV  So these things shall be for a statute of judgment unto you throughout your generations in all your dwellings.  (30)  Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die.  (31)  Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death.  (32)  And ye shall take no satisfaction for him that is fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest.  (33)  So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.  (34)  Defile not therefore the land which ye shall inhabit, wherein I dwell: for I the LORD dwell among the children of Israel.

The city of refuge was not for people to run from the law. They were cities in which the perpetrator waited on judgment not run from it. There is a very major difference with the lawlessness we are witnessing with leaders and insanity in our beloved nation. You see in the Steinle case it was more like the guy had to be rounded up because he was just walking around free after taking a human life. Any lawyer who would touch this guy’s case and rub it in a family’s face so to speak the way they did should be disbarred.

In the case of the Bible a city of refuge was where a person was kept under watch so to speak until as the Bible says he (or she) goes before the congregation. So if someone especially a liberal politician tries to confuse these issues you better stick to scripture and not lawlessness. You better stick to scripture and avoid “religious” leaders who think their opinion outweighs scripture. Many people may feel the same way about yours truly. However before you form an opinion read the word of God in what we provide here and on your own. When scripture backs you there is no argument.

Laws Concerning Cities of Refuge

Deu 19:1-10 KJV  When the LORD thy God hath cut off the nations, whose land the LORD thy God giveth thee, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their cities, and in their houses;  (2)  Thou shalt separate three cities for thee in the midst of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it.  (3)  Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may flee thither.  (4)  And this is the case of the slayer, which shall flee thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past;  (5)  As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall flee unto one of those cities, and live:  (6)  Lest the avenger of the blood pursue the slayer, while his heart is hot, and overtake him, because the way is long, and slay him; whereas he was not worthy of death, inasmuch as he hated him not in time past.  (7)  Wherefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt separate three cities for thee.  (8)  And if the LORD thy God enlarge thy coast, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, and give thee all the land which he promised to give unto thy fathers;  (9)  If thou shalt keep all these commandments to do them, which I command thee this day, to love the LORD thy God, and to walk ever in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these three:  (10)  That innocent blood be not shed in thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee.

God makes it pretty clear in this case what is a punishable offense compared to a non punishable. For those folks who like to say the Bible is vague they need to remember the law has been pretty unclear in a lot of U.S. cases. The passage also makes an allowance to the avenger of the slain. That while the matter rages he cannot do anything regretful.

Deu 19:11-13 KJV  But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities:  (12)  Then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die.  (13)  Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee.

You see God always had an extradition plan for justice.

The Cities of Refuge

Jos 20:1-9 KJV  The LORD also spake unto Joshua, saying,  (2)  Speak to the children of Israel, saying, Appoint out for you cities of refuge, whereof I spake unto you by the hand of Moses:  (3)  That the slayer that killeth any person unawares and unwittingly may flee thither: and they shall be your refuge from the avenger of blood.  (4)  And when he that doth flee unto one of those cities shall stand at the entering of the gate of the city, and shall declare his cause in the ears of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them.  (5)  And if the avenger of blood pursue after him, then they shall not deliver the slayer up into his hand; because he smote his neighbour unwittingly, and hated him not beforetime.  (6)  And he shall dwell in that city, until he stand before the congregation for judgment, and until the death of the high priest that shall be in those days: then shall the slayer return, and come unto his own city, and unto his own house, unto the city from whence he fled.  (7)  And they appointed Kedesh in Galilee in mount Naphtali, and Shechem in mount Ephraim, and Kirjatharba, which is Hebron, in the mountain of Judah.  (8)  And on the other side Jordan by Jericho eastward, they assigned Bezer in the wilderness upon the plain out of the tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in Gilead out of the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan out of the tribe of Manasseh.  (9)  These were the cities appointed for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them, that whosoever killeth any person at unawares might flee thither, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stood before the congregation.

I Will Bless the Lord

Psa 26:1-12 KJV  A Psalm of David. Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.  (2)  Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.  (3)  For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.  (4)  I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.  (5)  I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.  (6)  I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:  (7)  That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.  (8)  LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.  (9)  Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:  (10)  In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.  (11)  But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.  (12)  My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.

My Soul Longs for the Courts of the Lord

Psa 84:1-12 KJV  To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!  (2)  My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.  (3)  Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.  (4)  Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.  (5)  Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.  (6)  Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.  (7)  They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.  (8)  O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.  (9)  Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.  (10)  For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.  (11)  For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.  (12)  O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

Many of our references here indicate an adulterous meaning. Adulterous in the sense of spiritual adultery. One thing is for sure even if America has lost control over the immigrant situation God has not.

One thing we can say for sure is that God knew who belonged among the people and who did not just as He does with America. He knows the hearts of those who mean well and who do not. Folks if the law says you tell us who you are that is exactly what it means.

This presents a very interesting study. One of the things God reminded Israel of at different times occasionally was the fact that they were held in bondage. Held in bondage to the point of letting it be a teachable moment as some like to say.

Also we can add that these people were known to be as such to the congregation. You see as bad as some folks will want to condemn me for what we are doing God knew who these people were and referred to them as alien or sojourner.  So as we have said before don’t get mad at us until you read the word.

Deu 5:15 KJV  And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

Deu 15:15 KJV  And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day.

The Feast of Weeks

Deu 16:9-12 KJV  Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: begin to number the seven weeks from such time as thou beginnest to put the sickle to the corn.  (10)  And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto the LORD thy God with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt give unto the LORD thy God, according as the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:  (11)  And thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to place his name there.  (12)  And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.

Deu 24:17-18 KJV  Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow's raiment to pledge:  (18)  But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

One thing we can note here is that the law was meant to be applied equally to all facets of the society. This included aliens or strangers. This certainly did not mean to ignore their crimes or needs from the legal standpoint.

Love Your Neighbor as Yourself

Lev 19:9-18 KJV  And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.  (10)  And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God.  (11)  Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.  (12)  And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.  (13)  Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.  (14)  Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the LORD.  (15)  Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.  (16)  Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the LORD.  (17)  Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.  (18)  Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

Lev 19:15 KJV  Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbor.

Again God the Father of the Son Jesus or Yeshua will not let the status of a person super cede judgment. This means no favors for anyone because they are not Jewish by nature. God keeps the difference as opposed to some of our so called leaders and their agenda. So as we have said many times God knows what’s going on even when we refuse to in the case of some of our leaders.

Much like our recent studies concerning Jerusalem and religious leaders such as a pope who masquerades as a Holy Father wanting the status quo for Jerusalem. We are dealing with the subjects of sanctuary cities and biblical cities of refuge. Much like the Jerusalem subject many of course here in America would wish to confuse people with the use of the term sanctuary city. Just like we encourage people on every issue read the Bible.

However recent events in America such as the Steinle murder have really showed our ignorance to what being an American is. We are not even going to mention the murderers’ name. It’s not worthy for biblical study. The attorneys (for the defendant) come out of the courtroom and called on president Trump to not make the decision political. Even though their moronic act by naming the president did the very same thing. Again classic liberalism do what we say and not as we do. While a real American family suffers.

We are not trying to add insult to murder here but when a state not just a local jurisdiction tells an all American family their daughter’s death means absolutely nothing it’s going too far. Why do we not let California secede from the nation and send them every ms13 member caught on the streets and at the borders. You see when politicians start getting the hammer from these idiots things will probably change. We should not expect it until then though. God spoke to the state of California however in the form of the state’s largest wildfire in recorded history. It started approximately 1 week after the decision in the Steinle case. We do not care within our ministries to mix it up on certain issues. This is one of those. We don’t much care if people cannot accept the cause and effect aspect to God.

There was an incident that involved the death of an NFL player recently. It was amazing that the coverage this got was totally different from the Steinle murder. The press seemed to be all up in arms about the suspect’s prior 1 deportation. It’s amazing that just a few days after Nancy Pelosi said her grandson wanted to grow up as a Guatemalan a Guatemalan kills someone. However in our honest opinion here with our ministries the liberal press said little to nothing regarding we believe it to be the 5 deportations of the Steinle murder suspect. He deserved at least 5 years for negligent homicide at the very least. We do not forget however that the Lord has a different kind of justice. We would like to in this environment pass along our never ending prayers for the Steinle family. They may or may not appreciate them but we know that the Lord does. They do have a family left here in America that stands behind them that being the real Christians nation. Not just the Steinle family but hundreds if not thousands of others who needlessly lost someone because the killer was here illegally in the first place. We have enough problems to deal with concerning our own. Our prayers go out with all for the good Lord above to avenge the insanity.

You see as we have tried to explore in other journeys the Lord’s judgment is based on righteousness. There were cities of refuge in scripture. We do not deny this for a single minute. The reason for the cities of refuge in scripture was not to let murderers walk free. They were for those true cases of self defense and some types of negligent homicide as we would refer to it today. However the Bible is clear that the individual in question will stand before the congregation. The refuge provided by the city merely keeps relatives of the victim from taking vengeance. It sure does not mean that all escape God’s judgment by any means. Amen!!

We did a search on the word “sanctuary” in the KJV of the Bible. Let’s see what the NT provided. All the search provided was found in the book of Hebrews.

Heb_8:2  A minister of the sanctuaryG39, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

Heb_9:1  Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.

Heb_9:2  For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.

Heb_13:11  For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

When we go back and plug in our Greek word for a concordance search we get the following. One thing we can note here as well is the fact that Holiest of Holies has nothing to do with the sanctuary cities of today.

The only other meaning applied to the word here as we can easily see is the Holiest of places inside the temple. Does the biblical definition of a very Holy and sacred thing match up to the lawlessness we see here in the nation today. Again just another of the reasons why we say read the Bible.

Again all we are stating is we are glad to have you here as long as you do what God requires and no less. For some folks the ideology here seems to be that if God and the law stack up on issues of lawful subjects it’s God and His laws that get hammered God knew the difference as we attested to earlier between the strangers and the sojourners among the people. In no way does the Bible say that we should treat those folks in negative ways. God does tell us however the law is still applied none the less.

You see if God allowed the alien, stranger or sojourner among His people He kept watch over them expecting nothing less than the obedience He called from His own people so to speak with Israel. As we saw from word study the act of losing these folks among the people could result in spiritual decay into idolatry and the sins that liberals are calling social justice issues today. That subject will come at a later date. In the same breath stating that many of folks then and now are Godly and lawful abiding folks. Again we will state God required no less than some folks remained separate by tribal customs yet the same in Godly customs.

Jesus Is Coming

Rev 22:6-21 KJV  And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.  (7)  Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.  (8)  And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.  (9)  Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.  (10)  And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.  (11)  He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.  (12)  And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.  (13)  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.  (14)  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.  (15)  For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. (16)  I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.  (17)  And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.  (18)  For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:  (19)  And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.  (20)  He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.  (21)  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

As always thanks for sharing a word
God Bless
