Welcome to the World of Biblical Prophecy for History and Today

This Blog is intended to help myself and others gain the best understanding of the world around us through exploration of prophetic scripture. The Bible is the text book. Through these studies we will hopefully provide understanding to both believer and unbeliever alike. The way our God and our Savior Jesus distinguish themselves in the spiritual world is through prophetic means. In other words what the Bible teaches us through fullfillment of these prophecies shows us the truth. Let's take some prophetic journeys through history and at the same time learn about the world around us today. Please try and be patient with any typographical errors as I am my own typist and my own research staff. Thanks

The Zechariah Zone 2 part 1

The Zechariah Zone
Zechariah 2:1-5

Joh 16:1-3 KJV  These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.  (2)  They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.  (3)  And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

The Work of the Holy Spirit

Joh 16:4-15 KJV  But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.  (5)  But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?  (6)  But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.  (7)  Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter G3875will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.  (8)  And when he is come, he will reproveG1651  the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:  (9)  Of sin, because they believe not on me;  (10)  Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;  (11)  Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.  (12)  I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.  (13)  Howbeit when he, the SpiritG4151 of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.  (14)  He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.  (15)  All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Joh 16:7 KJV  Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the ComforterG3875 will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

Your Sorrow Will Turn into Joy

Joh 16:16-24 KJV  A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.  (17)  Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?  (18)  They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? we cannot tell what he saith.  (19)  Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?  (20)  Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.  (21)  A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.  (22)  And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.  (23)  And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.  (24)  Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

I Have Overcome the World

Joh 16:25-33 KJV  These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.  (26)  At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:  (27)  For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.  (28)  I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.  (29)  His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.  (30)  Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.  (31)  Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?  (32)  Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.  (33)  These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcomeG3528 the world.

This is the tone we will hopefully set for this journey. It blends in rather well with Zechariah 2. One thing most folks have probably or maybe for the first time encountered is the powerful tone of triumph and victory that the passage displays. We have become very accustomed to finding the city of Jerusalem and the whole of the Israelites at odds with the Lord. Here in Zechariah we will become accustomed to seeing a powerful city of Zion. Also we should say in the same breath the world in general will encounter and is indeed encountering issues as we have already explored in so many journeys. Indeed certain issues are predicted for the world here in the Zechariah zone.

Again remember the other name of Jerusalem which is Zion. We have been exploring why religious leaders around the world most notably the pope cannot understand the simplicity of scripture concerning Jerusalem. It’s a terrible shame when we realize the folks who should know the most about scripture, Jesus, His return and so forth don’t. These are the things that are going to matter a whole lot more in the not so distant future.

Our opening passage for this journey John 16 is a very triumphant one. This compliments some things we will explore in Zechariah 2. Zion is a word we see only in the OT of scripture oddly enough.

Let’s take a look back at some significant moments from chapter 1 that lead into chapter 2 here as well.

A Call to Return to the Lord

Zec 1:3-6 KJV  Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.  (4)  Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD.  (5)  Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they live for ever?  (6)  But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.

A Vision of a Horseman

Zec 1:8-10 KJV  I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white.  (9)  Then said I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will shew thee what these be.  (10)  And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.

As you know(or may not) we have started a detailed look at the man in the myrtle trees.

Zec 1:16-17 KJV  Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.  (17)  Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.

Now without further delay (ha ha )let’s explore

A Vision of a Man with a Measuring Line

Zec 2:1-13 KJV  I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.  (2)  Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.  (3)  And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,  (4)  And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:  (5)  For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.  (6)  Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.  (7)  Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.  (8)  For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.  (9)  For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.  (10)  Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.  (11)  And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.  (12)  And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.  (13)  Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

Zec 2:1-2 KJV  I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a manH376 with a measuringH4060 lineH2256  in his hand.  (2)  Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

The word studies we chose here in Zechariah 2:1-2 indicate that we are dealing with an object of tribute. The opening in John 16 closes with Jesus telling us some of His most wonderful news. That He has overcome the world. He opened up our access back to God. This was not done for Himself but because He loves all of us. He merely asks that after everything He has done for us and went through to merely accept it. Our passages from John 16 and Zechariah 2 spell out as we will continue to stress the obtaining of the kingdom in John 16.

Along with our root studies of the book of Zechariah we have looked into some interesting subjects such as the man in the myrtle trees. Here we have a man with a measuring line. Many commentaries suggest a vision of Nehemiah making measurements of the city. This although fitting looks not to be the case here. Don’t worry we will provide as we always try to do scriptures and analysis for seeing things the way we do.

We must make note first of all that there are no walls in this Jerusalem. There is no need for anything along the lines of borders for lack of better words right now. God Himself will be all the light and protection we will ever need. Amen!!

Zec 2:1-5 KJV  I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.

In this prophecy God is talking about a Jerusalem without walls. In the book of Nehemiah we see him building and making repairs specifically to the city’s walls.

Report from Jerusalem

Neh 1:1-3 KJV  The words of Nehemiah the son of Hachaliah. And it came to pass in the month Chisleu, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the palace,  (2)  That Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews that had escaped, which were left of the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem.  (3)  And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire.

Nehemiah Sent to Judah

Neh 2:1-8 KJV  And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence.  (2)  Wherefore the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore afraid,  (3)  And said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers' sepulchres, lieth waste, and the gates thereof are consumed with fire?  (4)  Then the king said unto me, For what dost thou make request? So I prayed to the God of heaven.  (5)  And I said unto the king, If it please the king, and if thy servant have found favour in thy sight, that thou wouldest send me unto Judah, unto the city of my fathers' sepulchres, that I may build it.  (6)  And the king said unto me, (the queen also sitting by him,) For how long shall thy journey be? and when wilt thou return? So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time.  (7)  Moreover I said unto the king, If it please the king, let letters be given me to the governors beyond the river, that they may convey me over till I come into Judah;  (8)  And a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king's forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which appertained to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.

This is certainly not the vision of Zechariah in this case. We are not out to pick fights we are simply exploring scripture for exactly what it says. When we are dealing with God’s chosen city Zion and or Jerusalem we make sure we get it right. We have been exploring also some of the major errors people like the pope and others would want us to believe without taking one word of scripture with their ideas.

Like we say around here we read the bible.

Looks as though we are dealing with a time for the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus or Yeshua whichever you like. Again no offense to Nehemiah but we are clearly dealing with a whole different Jerusalem in Zechariah.

Zec 2:5 KJV  For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

We only run into verses like this pertaining to the rule and reign of Yeshua. We mentioned earlier about looking into the man among the myrtle trees. The studies focusing on the horses and their colors. The next phase of those journeys will explore what power this rider has and how He obtained this degree of worthiness with the Lord. However for today’s journey we will explore more about the victory in Yeshua. As we read in John 16 the world has been overcome by our Lord and Savior.

The prophetic fulfillment of this ring of fire around the city is seen in other places in scripture with different parameters shall we say unique to each prophecy. This is the promise of protection we get from the only 4 sources. God the Father, Jesus the Son, the Comforter or Holy Spirit and the word tell us what we need to know.

Zion, the City of Our God

Psa 48:1-14 KJV  A Song and Psalm for the sons of Korah. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.  (2)  Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.  (3)  God is known in her palaces for a refuge.  (4)  For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.  (5)  They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.  (6)  Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.  (7)  Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.  (8)  As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah.  (9)  We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.  (10)  According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.  (11)  Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.  (12)  Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.  (13)  Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation followingH314.  (14)  For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

If you remember or have been there Psalm 48 is part of our studies in the “acharon”. A Hebrew word which means the last generation of people facing the east.

H314
אַחֲרֹן    אַחֲריֹן
'achăryôn    'achărôn
akh-ar-one', akh-ar-one'
From H309; hinder; generally late or last; specifically (as facing the east) western: - after (-ward), to come, following, hind (-er, -ermost, -most), last, latter, rereward, ut(ter)most.
Total KJV occurrences: 50

Isa 4:1 KJV  And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

The Branch of the Lord Glorified

Isa 4:2-6 KJV  In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.  (3)  And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:  (4)  When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.  (5)  And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.  (6)  And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

There’s something that the world needs to get straight (of course as believers we know that it will not completely). That being that the glory of our Lord is en route to take over this world and nothing as we know it will be familiar. Praise God!!

Another passage which we have referenced some over the years now is found in Isaiah 2. It’s a chapter that has come up almost everywhere in our prophetic journeys. It’s found in the “acharon” studies.

The Mountain of the Lord

Isa 2:1-5 KJV  The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.  (2)  And it shall come to pass in the lasth314 days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.  (3)  And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.  (4)  And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.  (5)  O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

The Day of the Lord

Isa 2:6-22 KJV  Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.  (7)  Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:  (8)  Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:  (9)  And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself: therefore forgive them not.  (10)  Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty.  (11)  The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.  (12)  For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:  (13)  And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,  (14)  And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,  (15)  And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall,  (16)  And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.  (17)  And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.  (18)  And the idols he shall utterly abolish.  (19)  And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.  (20)  In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;  (21)  To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.  (22)  Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?

We can put the breaks on here for a few and return back to one of our root study verses Zechariah2:5.

Zec 2:5  For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

There are other places as well we will explore regarding the wall of fire God will be providing for Jerusalem. Again we will let it ring out loud and clear to religious and political leaders to seek the word instead of opinions when it comes to God’s chosen city Jerusalem. Amen!!

There is a passage found in Revelation 20. This passage is a very prophetic passage as well.

The Thousand Years

Rev 20:1-6 KJV  And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.  (2)  And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,  (3)  And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.  (4)  And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.  (5)  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.  (6)  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The Defeat of Satan

Rev 20:7-10 KJV  And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,  (8)  And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.  (9)  And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.  (10)  And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Judgment Before the Great White Throne

Rev 20:11-15 KJV  And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.  (12)  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.  (13)  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.  (14)  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.  (15)  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

There are a lot of prophetic teachings in this passage that can be developed. We have explored a couple. They range from the 6 times the thousand years are mentioned and the 6,000 year history span of the Bible coming into play. There are very mysterious topics such as Gog and Magog in Ezekiel 38 and 39 and the 2 mentioned in this passage again. Many great teachings are out there about the subjects.
Here are some things we can note concerning our present journey. The fulfillment that is seen here concerning the wall of fire found in Zechariah 2.

Zec 2:5  For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

It is a fire that comes down from heaven that consumes this prophecy concerning Gog and Magog. As we have mentioned many times Peter also gives us a take on the action.

The Day of the Lord Will Come

2Pe 3:1-13 KJV  This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:  (2)  That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:  (3)  Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,  (4)  And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.  (5)  For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:  (6)  Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:  (7)  But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.  (8)  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.  (9)  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  (10)  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.  (11)  Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,  (12)  Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?  (13)  Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

However as we have also mentioned many many times we have a Way out and that Way being Jesus. The kingdom that He will lead coming soon.

Rev 21:1-8 KJV  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.  (2)  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.  (3)  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.  (4)  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.  (5)  And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.  (6)  And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.  (7)  He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.  (8)  But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Rev 16:15 KJV  Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

As always thanks for sharing a word
