Welcome to the World of Biblical Prophecy for History and Today

This Blog is intended to help myself and others gain the best understanding of the world around us through exploration of prophetic scripture. The Bible is the text book. Through these studies we will hopefully provide understanding to both believer and unbeliever alike. The way our God and our Savior Jesus distinguish themselves in the spiritual world is through prophetic means. In other words what the Bible teaches us through fullfillment of these prophecies shows us the truth. Let's take some prophetic journeys through history and at the same time learn about the world around us today. Please try and be patient with any typographical errors as I am my own typist and my own research staff. Thanks

Jerusalem the Burdensome Stone Isaiah 9 Then and Now Our Counsellor Lord Yeshua/Jesus or Your Stumbling Block

Jerusalem the Burdensome Stone
Isaiah 9 Then and Now
Our Counsellor Lord Yeshua/Jesus
or Your Stumbling Block

The Coming of the Holy Spirit

Act 2:1-8 KJV  And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.  (2)  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.  (3)  And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.  (4)  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.  (5)  And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.  (6)  Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.  (7)  And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?  (8)  And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

Act 2:9-13 KJV  Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,  (10)  Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,  (11)  Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.  (12)  And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?  (13)  Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

Peter's Sermon at Pentecost

Act 2:14-21 KJV  But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:  (15)  For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.  (16)  But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;  (17)  And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:  (18)  And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:  (19)  And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:  (20)  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:  (21)  And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Act 2:22-28 KJV  Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:  (23)  Him, being delivered by the determinate counselG1012and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:  (24)  Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.  (25)  For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:  (26)  Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:  (27)  Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.  (28)  Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

Act 2:29-36 KJV  Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.  (30)  Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;  (31)  He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.  (32)  This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.  (33)  Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.  (34)  For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,  (35)  Until I make thy foes thy footstool.  (36)  Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

The Mystery of Israel's Salvation

Rom 11:25-28 KJV  For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.  (26)  And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:  (27)  For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.  (28)  As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.

Rom 11:29-32 KJV  For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.  (30)  For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:  (31)  Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.  (32)  For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

Rom 11:33-36 KJV  O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!  (34)  For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellorG4825?  (35)  Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?  (36)  For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

Hello again friends we are continuing to move forward with our word studies from Isaiah 9. We were able to exhaust the word wonderful in our last look Lord Yeshua/Jesus’ life and ministry. We will not waste any time as we will be exploring our second highlighted word.

For to Us a Child Is Born

Isa 9:1-7 KJV  Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.  (2)  The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.  (3)  Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.  (4)  For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.  (5)  For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.  (6)  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.  (7)  Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

In our last get together we explored in detail what the word wonderful tells us about our Lord and Savior Yeshua/Jesus. About His very life and ministry down to the very territories He visited. This journey will tell us some things about our Counsellor we hope to demonstrate. So we will get right into this next word study.

CounsellorH3289

Before we get going we should mention this word counsellor is a specific word. As in our previous study this word is found 14 times throughout scripture.

H3289
יָעַץ
yâ‛ats
yaw-ats'
A primitive root; to advise; reflexively to deliberate or resolve: - advertise, take advice, advise (well), consult, (give take) counsel (-lor), determine, devise, guide, purpose.
Total KJV occurrences: 80

For our purposes we will explore some passages regarding the specific word counsellor. We will no doubt uncover some history as we go so we’ll get started. We will find some counsellor’s were not very wise in their behavior. The following passage is about a coup attempt. A son trying to take over his father’s kingdom.

Absalom's Conspiracy

2Sa 15:7-12 KJV  And it came to pass after forty years, that Absalom said unto the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed unto the LORD, in Hebron.  (8)  For thy servant vowed a vow while I abode at Geshur in Syria, saying, If the LORD shall bring me again indeed to Jerusalem, then I will serve the LORD.  (9)  And the king said unto him, Go in peace. So he arose, and went to Hebron.  (10)  But Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, As soon as ye hear the sound of the trumpet, then ye shall say, Absalom reigneth in Hebron.  (11)  And with Absalom went two hundred men out of Jerusalem, that were called; and they went in their simplicity, and they knew not any thing.  (12)  And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counsellor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he offered sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.

2Sa 17:23 KJV  And when Ahithophel saw that his counsel was not followed, he saddled his ass, and arose, and gat him home to his house, to his city, and put his household in order, and hanged himself, and died, and was buried in the sepulchre of his father.

This is a great example of a counsellor undeserving of the position. A man who should have been there for David turning. Not a wise thing to do. An obvious connection our Lord Yeshua/Jesus would be involving a king and a conspiracy. We always suggest reading the entire account and you will discover a couple of examples of terrible counseling.

Our next passage has a couple of interesting things as well.

1Ch 26:13-17 KJV  And they cast lots, as well the small as the great, according to the house of their fathers, for every gate.  (14)  And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counsellorH3289, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.  (15)  To Obededom southward; and to his sons the house of Asuppim.  (16)  To Shuppim and Hosah the lot came forth westward, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward.  (17)  Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and toward Asuppim two and two.

1Ch 26:14 KJV  And the lot eastward fell to ShelemiahH8018. Then for ZechariahH2148his son, a wise counsellorH3289,they cast lots; and his lot came out northwardH6828.

We highlighted Shelemiah and Zechariah for a reason. The name Shelemiah

H8018
שֶׁלֶמְיָהוּ    שֶׁלֶמְיָה
shelemyâh    shelemyâhû
shel-em-yaw', shel-em-yaw'-hoo
From H8002 and H3050; thank offering of Jah; Shelemjah, the name of nine Israelites: - Shelemiah.
Total KJV occurrences: 10

H2148
זְכַרְיָהוּ    זְכַרְיָה
zekaryâh    zekaryâhû
zek-ar-yaw', zek-ar-yaw'-hoo
From H2142 and H3050; Jah has remembered; Zecarjah, the name of twenty nine Israelites: - Zachariah, Zechariah.
Total KJV occurrences: 43

It’s a message in itself to say that ABBA Father remembers the thank offering. He commanded and remembers the greatest offering of all Lord Yeshua/Jesus. Our last word is northward.

H6828
צָפֹן    צָפוֹן
tsâphôn    tsâphôn
tsaw-fone', tsaw-fone'
From H6845; properly hidden, that is, dark; used only of the north as a quarter (gloomy and unknown): - north (-ern, side, -ward, wind).
Total KJV occurrences: 153

H6845
צָפַן
tsâphan
tsaw-fan'
A primitive root; to hide (by covering over); by implication to hoard or reserve; figuratively to deny; specifically (favorably) to protect, (unfavorably) to lurk: - esteem, hide (-den one, self), lay up, lurk (be set) privily, (keep) secret (-ly, place).
Total KJV occurrences: 32

The reason we feel this is interesting is because the words have a meaning of obscurity or if you would permit enigmatic. This describes our Lord and Savior Yeshua/Jesus Himself. One could bring to mind the fact that Lord Yeshua/Jesus broke that veil between ABBA Father and us.

CounsellorH3289

1Ch 27:32 KJV  Also Jonathan David's uncle was a counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king's sons:

2Ch 22:2-4 KJV  Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Athaliah the daughter of Omri.  (3)  He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab: for his mother was his counsellorH3289 to do wickedly.  (4)  Wherefore he did evil in the sight of the LORD like the house of Ahab: for they were his counsellorsH3289after the death of his father to his destruction.

We see that the counsel leaders receive can direct their actions. The Bible tells us so in the passage above. This is just 1 reason we feel that ABBA Father calls His Son Counsellor in the capitalized. He is not capable of providing bad counsel. How many times in the books of Kings and Chronicles we see the phrase “he did evil in the sight of the Lord“. By our search we see the phrase 5 times in the books of the Kings and 2nd book of the Chronicles. We will not develop this right now. In other words those particular rulers and there were many all had people around them cheering them on apparently.

Now our journey through the word concerning Lord Yeshua/Jesus as Counsellor. We come to a very notorious passage we recently explored in the grand scheme of things. That passage comes from Isaiah 3.

Judgment on Judah and Jerusalem

Isa 3:1-4 KJV  For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water,  (2)  The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,  (3)  The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellorH3289, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.  (4)  And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.

We explored how all the things that ABBA Father took away from Jewish society are also disappearing here in America. The bread and the water is the removal of the Holy Spirit. Then ABBA Father starts chipping away at all things that run that society.

If you think America is making bad decisions as of late then you might want to ask the question who or what is giving counsel to our leadership? We referred to it a little while back as a spirit of buffoonery.

God's Wrath on Unrighteousness

Rom 1:18-22 KJV  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;  (19)  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.  (20)  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  (21)  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  (22)  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Friends this is where we are at with the people leading the political way in America. When Christians start turning things over to people that think god is a monkey’s rear end we are forgetting the spiritual warfare to what is actually going on. Any one who believes there is no difference in creation and evolution is in biblical error to put it mildly. Let’s look at the very next verse .

Rom 1:23 KJV  And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Now let’s put a couple of verses together.

Rom 1:22-23 KJV  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,  (23)  And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

While we are at it let’s just go ahead and check out Webster’s 1828 dictionary for the definition of a counselor.

Counselor
COUNSELOR, n.

1. Any person who gives advice; but properly one who is authorized by natural relationship, or by birth, office or profession, to advise another in regard to his future conduct and measures. Ahithophel was Davids counselor. His mother was his counselor to do wickedly. 2 Chr 22. In Great Britain, the peers of the realm are hereditary counselor of the crown.

2. The members of a counsel; one appointed to advise a king or chief magistrate, in regard to the administration of the government.

3. One who is consulted by a client in a law case; one who gives advice in relation to a question of law; one whose profession is to give advice in law, and manage causes for clients.

Privy Counselor, a member of a privy counsel.

H3289
יָעַץ
yâ‛ats
yaw-ats'
A primitive root; to advise; reflexively to deliberate or resolve: - advertise, take advice, advise (well), consult, (give take) counsel (-lor), determine, devise, guide, purpose.
Total KJV occurrences: 80

We often refer to the passage of Romans 1:18-32 as every prophecy preacher’s dream. It answers all the questions someone might have about things like evolution, same sex and behavior. It answers to us why Lord Yeshua/Jesus is a must for our answers and salvation.

Comfort for God's People

Isa 40:1-5 KJV  Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.  (2)  Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD'S hand double for all her sins.  (3)  The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.  (4)  Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:  (5)  And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

The Word of God Stands Forever

Isa 40:6-8 KJV  The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:  (7)  The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.  (8)  The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

The Greatness of God

Isa 40:9-15 KJV  O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!  (10)  Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.  (11)  He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.  (12)  Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?  (13)  Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellorH3289 hath taught him?  (14)  With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?  (15)  Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.

Just like the word Wonderful the word counsellor points us to passages of scripture describing the Messiah Yeshua/Jesus. One of the most important things we can take away from the definitions above is that the true sense of counseling comes with a family situation. Although we all belong to ABBA Father His 1 and only Son is Yeshua/Jesus.

The Futility of Idols

Isa 41:21-29 KJV  Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob.  (22)  Let them bring them forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come.  (23)  Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together.  (24)  Behold, ye are of nothing, and your work of nought: an abomination is he that chooseth you.  (25)  I have raised up one from the north, and he shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and he shall come upon princes as upon morter, and as the potter treadeth clay.  (26)  Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and beforetime, that we may say, He is righteous? yea, there is none that sheweth, yea, there is none that declareth, yea, there is none that heareth your words.  (27)  The first shall say to Zion, Behold, behold them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings.  (28)  For I beheld, and there was no man; even among them, and there was no counsellorH3289 , that, when I asked of them, could answer a word.  (29)  Behold, they are all vanity; their works are nothing: their molten images are wind and confusion.

The Scroll and the Lamb

Rev 5:1-4 KJV  And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.  (2)  And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?  (3)  And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.  (4)  And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

The Mountain of the Lord

Mic 4:1-5 KJV  But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.  (2)  And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.  (3)  And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.  (4)  But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.  (5)  For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.

The Lord Shall Rescue Zion

Mic 4:6-13 KJV  In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted;  (7)  And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.  (8)  And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.  (9)  Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counsellorH3289 perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.  (10)  Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.  (11)  Now also many nations are gathered against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.  (12)  But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor.  (13)  Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.

In this case with Micah we see that the lack of good counsel can lead to terrible things. This is a prophecy that concerns the Lord Yeshua/Jesus’ 2nd coming. So now once again we are pointed in a direction toward Him.

The last OT reference to the word counsellor is found in Nahum 1. We recently explored how ABBA Father chose to spare Nineveh of destruction in the book of Jonah. In this passage we see a different outcome.

Nah 1:1 KJV  The burden of Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.

God's Wrath Against Nineveh

Nah 1:2-7 KJV  God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.  (3)  The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.  (4)  He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth.  (5)  The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.  (6)  Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.  (7)  The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

Nah 1:8-15 KJV  But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.  (9)  What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.  (10)  For while they be folden together as thorns, and while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry.  (11)  There is one come out of thee, that imagineth evil against the LORD, a wicked counsellor H3289.  (12)  Thus saith the LORD; Though they be quiet, and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through. Though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more.  (13)  For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder.  (14)  And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.  (15)  Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.

Many references here to our Lord Yeshua/Jesus are found. Sennacherib is the leader at this time in Assyria. We will be exploring some things about all this in Isaiah 10 provided ABBA Father let’s things continue long enough.

In the NT 2 of the 3 references are passages describing the man who claimed Lord Yeshua/Jesus’ body.

Jesus Is Buried

Luk 23:50-56 KJV  And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just:  (51)  (The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God.  (52)  This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.  (53)  And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.  (54)  And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on.  (55)  And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.  (56)  And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.

Again we feel that this word counsellor as we see in scripture points us toward the Messiah Yeshua/Jesus. He is the ultimate Counsellor that can only give good advice. As a matter of fact it’s good advice to believe in Him.

Mat 10:25 KJV  It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

Have No Fear

Mat 10:26-33 KJV  Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.  (27)  What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.  (28)  And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.  (29)  Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.  (30)  But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.  (31)  Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.  (32)  Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.  (33)  But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

This is why we ask the question is Lord Yeshua/Jesus your counsellor or will He be your stumbling block regarding salvation.

The River of Life

Rev 22:1-5 KJV  And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.  (2)  In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.  (3)  And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:  (4)  And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.  (5)  And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Rev 22:7 KJV  Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

As always thanks for sharing a word

Jerusalem the Burdensome Stone Isaiah 9 Then and Now Our Wonderful Lord Yeshua/Jesus Our Savior or Your Stumbling Block

Jerusalem the Burdensome Stone
Isaiah 9 Then and Now
Our Wonderful Lord Yeshua/Jesus
Our Savior or Your Stumbling Block

You Must Be Born Again

Joh 3:1-4 KJV  There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:  (2)  The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.  (3)  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  (4)  Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

Joh 3:5-9 KJV  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  (6)  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  (7)  Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.  (8)  The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.  (9)  Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?

Joh 3:10-15 KJV  Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?  (11)  Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.  (12)  If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?  (13)  And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.  (14)  And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:  (15)  That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

For God So Loved the World

Joh 3:16-21 KJV  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  (17)  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  (18)  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  (19)  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.  (20)  For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.  (21)  But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Jesus Begins His Ministry

Mat 4:12-17 KJV  Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;  (13)  And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:  (14)  That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,  (15)  The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;  (16)  The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.  (17)  From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Jesus Calls the First Disciples

Mat 4:18-22 KJV  And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.  (19)  And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.  (20)  And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.  (21)  And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them.  (22)  And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.

(6)  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called WonderfulH6382, CounsellorH3289,The mightyH1368GodH410, The everlastingH5703FatherH1,The PrinceH8269of PeaceH7965. (7)  Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Hello there again friends we are exploring Isaiah 9. With a little bit different approach than the usual. We mean this in the kindest way by saying we are not so much focusing upon the birth of Lord Yeshua/Jesus. Focusing a bit more upon what He was sent to be. We explored that concept in our last get together with regard to the healing place of the flowing waters Shiloam and Siloam.

Isa 9:4-5 KJV  For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.  (5)  For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.

Gideon Defeats Midian

Jdg 7:19-25 KJV  So Gideon, and the hundred men that were with him, came unto the outside of the camp in the beginning of the middle watch; and they had but newly set the watch: and they blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers that were in their hands.  (20)  And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon.  (21)  And they stood every man in his place round about the camp: and all the host ran, and cried, and fled.  (22)  And the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the LORD set every man's sword against his fellow, even throughout all the host: and the host fled to Bethshittah in Zererath, and to the border of Abelmeholah, unto Tabbath.  (23)  And the men of Israel gathered themselves together out of Naphtali, and out of Asher, and out of all Manasseh, and pursued after the Midianites.  (24)  And Gideon sent messengers throughout all mount Ephraim, saying, Come down against the Midianites, and take before them the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan. Then all the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and took the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan.  (25)  And they took two princes of the Midianites, Oreb and Zeeb; and they slew Oreb upon the rock Oreb, and Zeeb they slew at the winepress of Zeeb, and pursued Midian, and brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon on the other side Jordan.

Well this is certainly a mouthful of words we have chosen to highlight. The reason we did so is what we discovered exploring the word used here for Wonderful. We discovered as we will hopefully demonstrate how almost every instance in this particular word alluded to something related to Lord Yeshua/Jesus.

H6382
פּלא
pele'
BDB Definition:
1) wonder, marvel
1a) wonder (extraordinary, hard to understand thing)
1b) wonder (of God’s acts of judgment and redemption)
Part of Speech: noun masculine
A Related Word by BDB/Strong’s Number: from H6381

H6381
פָּלָא
pâlâ'
paw-law'
A primitive root; properly perhaps to separate, that is, distinguish (literally or figuratively); by implication to be (causatively make) great, difficult, wonderful: - accomplish, (arise . . . too, be too) hard, hidden, things too high, (be, do, do a, shew) marvelous (-ly, -els, things, work), miracles, perform, separate, make singular, (be, great, make) wonderful (-ers, -ly, things, works), wondrous (things, works, -ly).
Total KJV occurrences: 71

Please take note that the word means to separate or distinguish. ABBA Father and Lord Yeshua/Jesus are very distinguished in the scripture. ABBA Father making sure He showed Israel Himself in many ways. He also most certainly did distinguish His Son to the world in many ways.

Wonderful - פלא pele'. This word is derived from the verb פלא pâlâ', to separate, to distinguish, or to make great. It is applied usually to anything that is great or wonderful, as a miracle; Exo_15:2; Lam_1:9; Dan_12:6. It is applied here to denote the unusual and remarkable assemblage of qualities that distinguished the Messiah. Those are specified more particularly in the other part of the verse; such an assemblage of quailties as to make proper the names Mighty God, etc. ‘The proper idea of the word,’ says Hengstenberg, ‘is miraculous. It imports that the personage here referred to, in his being and in his works, will be exalted above the ordinary course of nature, and that his whole manifestation will be a miracle.’ Yet it seems to me, that the proper idea of the word is not that of miraculous. It is rather that which is separated from the ordinary course of events, and which is suited to excite amazement, wonder, and admiration, whether it be miraculous or not.

Our first reference has a connection to the Song of Moses.

Exo 15:11 KJV+  WhoH4310 is like unto thee,H3644 O LORD,H3068 among the gods?H410 whoH4310 is like thee,H3644 gloriousH142 in holiness,H6944 fearfulH3372 in praises,H8416 doingH6213 wonders?H6382

The first thing we should say as something that connects us to our Lord Yeshua/Jesus is that this is found within a song. ABBA Father does not permit something to be made into song unless there are significant events that have taken place in Israel’s history in a very short overall period of time. Even more things taking place in the life of Moses as well.

Psa 77:10-15 KJV  And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.  (11)  I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wondersH6382  of old.  (12)  I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.  (13)  Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?  (14)  Thou art the God that doest wondersH6382 : thou hast declared thy strength among the people.  (15)  Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

We have some studies from a while back that detail how Lord Yeshua/ Jesus is the right hand of ABBA Father. We also have again here the use of the word in a passage which directs us again to Lord Yeshua/Jesus.

Mat 26:62-64 KJV  And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?  (63)  But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.  (64)  Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Psa 78:12-15 KJV  MarvellousH6382 things did he in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.  (13)  He divided the sea, and caused them to pass through; and he made the waters to stand as an heap.  (14)  In the daytime also he led them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire.  (15)  He clave the rocks in the wilderness, and gave them drink as out of the great depths.

Again a passage in which miraculous events are taking place. Events that lead to a recognition of Lord Yeshua/Jesus. He is the reason all of the things above took place. As a thought only imagine ABBA Father looking at His Son Yeshua/Jesus and saying what should we do about this?. We must remember Yeshua/Jesus our Lord and Savior dwelt in heaven as God’s Son. That’s where we get the following.

Gen 1:26-27 KJV  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  (27)  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

WonderfulH6382

Psa 88:9-12 KJV  Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: LORD, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee.  (10)  Wilt thou shew wondersH6382to the dead? shall the dead arise and praise thee? Selah.  (11)  Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? or thy faithfulness in destruction?  (12)  Shall thy wondersH6382 be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?

Should we be thinking of someone in particular when we read verses about the dead raising to give praise to ABBA Father? Of course we should and that would be who? Our Lord and Savior Yeshua/Jesus.

Psa 89:5-7 KJV  And the heavens shall praise thy wondersH6382, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.  (6)  For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?  (7)  God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

Psa 119:129-136 KJV  PE. Thy testimonies are wonderfulH6382: therefore doth my soul keep them.  (130)  The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.  (131)  I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.  (132)  Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.  (133)  Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.  (134)  Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.  (135)  Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.  (136)  Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.

Once again in these passages we should be able to see the connections between ABBA Father and Son Yeshua/Jesus. The last verse here in the Psalm explains how Lord Yeshua/Jesus must have felt at the unbelief He encountered. However as the next passage tells us He delivered us from the grave.

God Will Swallow Up Death Forever

Isa 25:1-6 KJV  O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderfulH6382 things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.  (2)  For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.  (3)  Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.  (4)  For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.  (5)  Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.  (6)  And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

Isa 25:7-12 KJV  And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.  (8)  He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.  (9)  And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.  (10)  For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.  (11)  And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.  (12)  And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.

Jesus Appears to Seven Disciples

Joh 21:1-4 KJV  After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.  (2)  There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.  (3)  Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.  (4)  But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.

Joh 21:5-9 KJV  Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.  (6)  And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.  (7)  Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.  (8)  And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.  (9)  As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.

Joh 21:10-14 KJV  Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.  (11)  Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.  (12)  Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.  (13)  Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.  (14)  This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.

Isa 29:10-14 KJV  For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.  (11)  And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:  (12)  And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.  (13)  Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:  (14)  Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous workH6381 and a wonderH6382: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

Jesus Rejoices in the Father's Will

Luk 10:21-24 KJV  In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.  (22)  All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.  (23)  And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:  (24)  For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

This next passage returns us to a look at Jerusalem. A very prophetic look at that. Describing a city that has lost its way with ABBA Father and very possibly detailing His feelings toward a city that would reject His one and only Son lord Yeshua/Jesus.

How Lonely Sits the City

Lam 1:1-5 KJV  How doth the city sit solitary, that was full of people! how is she become as a widow! she that was great among the nations, and princess among the provinces, how is she become tributary!  (2)  She weepeth sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks: among all her lovers she hath none to comfort her: all her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her enemies.  (3)  Judah is gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude: she dwelleth among the heathen, she findeth no rest: all her persecutors overtook her between the straits.  (4)  The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness.  (5)  Her adversaries are the chief, her enemies prosper; for the LORD hath afflicted her for the multitude of her transgressions: her children are gone into captivity before the enemy.

Lam 1:6-10 KJV  And from the daughter of Zion all her beauty is departed: her princes are become like harts that find no pasture, and they are gone without strength before the pursuer.  (7)  Jerusalem remembered in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that she had in the days of old, when her people fell into the hand of the enemy, and none did help her: the adversaries saw her, and did mock at her sabbaths.  (8)  Jerusalem hath grievously sinned; therefore she is removed: all that honoured her despise her, because they have seen her nakedness: yea, she sigheth, and turneth backward.  (9)  Her filthiness is in her skirts; she remembereth not her last end; therefore she came down wonderfullyH6382: she had no comforter. O LORD, behold my affliction: for the enemy hath magnified himself.  (10)  The adversary hath spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things: for she hath seen that the heathen entered into her sanctuary, whom thou didst command that they should not enter into thy congregation.

Our last passage which we find our Hebrew word “pele” is a prophetic passage from Daniel chapter 12. It is a scenario in which we find there are 2 witnesses on opposite sides of the Tigris River. Then there is a man in linen above the waters. It paints the scenario of 2 witnesses in Revelation 11. The main subject of their witness of course 1 individual Lord Yeshua/ Jesus.

The Time of the End

Dan 12:1-7 KJV  And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.  (2)  And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.  (3)  And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.  (4)  But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.  (5)  Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.  (6)  And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wondersH6382?  (7)  And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

This passage describes 3 people. One each on one side of the Tigris and 1 on the other. There is also another clothed in white linen above the water. Many of us feel that we know who this one is. That being our Lord and Savior Yeshua/ Jesus.

This also is a prophetic scenario resembling the events of Revelation 11. The passage which tells us about the 2 witnesses that will be witnessing for 42 months.

The Two Witnesses

Rev 11:1-6 KJV  And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.  (2)  But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.  (3)  And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.  (4)  These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.  (5)  And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.  (6)  These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

Rev 11:7-14 KJV  And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.  (8)  And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.  (9)  And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.  (10)  And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.  (11)  And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.  (12)  And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.  (13)  And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.  (14)  The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

Friends we hope that as you read the scriptures we explored here that you will recognize that this word “pele” in the Hebrew tells us things about our Messiah Yeshua/Jesus. A very separated and distinguished look at our ABBA Father’s birth of His 1 and only Son.

Lord Yeshua/Jesus of course full of miracles and wonders as described in the OT prophets. All of them that is to say without doubt. Isaiah is full of prophecies concerning not only the birth of our Lord and Savior. More descriptively he tells us much about the things Yeshua/Jesus will do. We felt that this word study demonstrates in every appearance directs to our Messiah Yeshua/Jesus.

Now as we try to do as often as we can some words regarding the coming of our Savior.

No One Knows That Day and Hour

Mat 24:36-42 KJV  But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.  (37)  But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  (38)  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,  (39)  And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  (40)  Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.  (41)  Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.  (42)  Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Mat 24:43-47 KJV  But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.  (44)  Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.  (45)  Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?  (46)  Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.  (47)  Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

Mat 24:48-51 KJV  But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;  (49)  And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;  (50)  The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,  (51)  And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The Day of the Lord

1Th 5:1-11 KJV  But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.  (2)  For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.  (3)  For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.  (4)  But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.  (5)  Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.  (6)  Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.  (7)  For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.  (8)  But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.  (9)  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,  (10)  Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.  (11)  Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Rev 22:7 KJV  Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Rev 22:12-13 KJV  And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.  (13)  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Rev 22:16 KJV  I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Rev 22:20-21 KJV  He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.  (21)  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
