Welcome to the World of Biblical Prophecy for History and Today

This Blog is intended to help myself and others gain the best understanding of the world around us through exploration of prophetic scripture. The Bible is the text book. Through these studies we will hopefully provide understanding to both believer and unbeliever alike. The way our God and our Savior Jesus distinguish themselves in the spiritual world is through prophetic means. In other words what the Bible teaches us through fullfillment of these prophecies shows us the truth. Let's take some prophetic journeys through history and at the same time learn about the world around us today. Please try and be patient with any typographical errors as I am my own typist and my own research staff. Thanks

Mat 24:25 KJV  Behold, I have told you before. Revisiting Zechariah 12-14 chapter 12

Mat 24:25 KJV  Behold, I have told you before.
Though All The People of the Earth
Be Gathered Against It
Revisiting Zechariah 12-14 chapter 12

Your Word Is a Lamp to My Feet

Psa 119:169-176 KJV  TAU. Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word.  (170)  Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.  (171)  My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.  (172)  My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.  (173)  Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.  (174)  I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.  (175)  Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.  (176)  I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.

Ecc 1:9-11 KJV  The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.  (10)  Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.  (11)  There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.

Ecc 3:14-15 KJV  I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.  (15)  That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

Ecc 3:16-17 KJV  And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.  (17)  I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

Christ Came to Fulfill the Law

Mat 5:17-20 KJV  Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.  (18)  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.  (19)  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.  (20)  For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 5:17 KJV  Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

The Example of Christ

Rom 15:1-7 KJV  We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.  (2)  Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.  (3)  For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.  (4)  For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.  (5)  Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:  (6)  That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.  (7)  Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

Rom 15:4 KJV  For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

The Abomination of Desolation

Mat 24:15-21 KJV  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)  (16)  Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:  (17)  Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:  (18)  Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.  (19)  And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!  (20)  But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:  (21)  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Mat 24:22-28 KJV  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.  (23)  Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.  (24)  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.  (25)  Behold, I have told you before.  (26)  Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.  (27)  For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  (28)  For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

Mat 24:25 KJV  Behold, I have told you before.

Joh 14:26-31 KJV  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.  (27)  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  (28)  Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.  (29)  And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.  (30)  Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.  (31)  But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

Hello again friends. We are exploring Zechariah 12-14 revisited. The reason we are doing so, because of what we are seeing and hearing in our world right now. We explored Zechariah in what we might call detail a little while back. We wish to convey a little more about what the passage of the 3 chapters tell us about. What we believe will actually be discovered is the events of October 7th in Israel will come to the city of Jerusalem at some point. We have done a chapter by chapter exploration of Zechariah. Some of you may have already been there. These last 3 chapters tell us of a grim situation for Jerusalem and those who will be consuming themselves with it. The bright side of the passages is that our Lord and Savior Yeshua returns within them. The first thing we would like to say before we get started is the following

Noah's Descendants

Gen 9:18-27 KJV  And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.  (19)  These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.  (20)  And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:  (21)  And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.  (22)  And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.  (23)  And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.  (24)  And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.  (25)  And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.  (26)  And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.  (27)  God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

The Call of Abram

Gen 12:1-4 KJV  Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:  (2)  And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:  (3)  And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.  (4)  So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

Gen 12:3 KJV  And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

The Sacrifice of Isaac

Gen 22:1-6 KJV  And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.  (2)  And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.  (3)  And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.  (4)  Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.  (5)  And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.  (6)  And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.

Gen 22:7-13 KJV  And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?  (8)  And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.  (9)  And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.  (10)  And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.  (11)  And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.  (12)  And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.  (13)  And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.

Gen 22:14-19 KJV  And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.  (15)  And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,  (16)  And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:  (17)  That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;  (18)  And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.  (19)  So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba.

Before Abraham Was, I Am

Joh 8:48-53 KJV  Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?  (49)  Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.  (50)  And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.  (51)  Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.  (52)  Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.  (53)  Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?

Joh 8:54-56 KJV  Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:  (55)  Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.  (56)  Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

Joh 8:57-59 KJV  Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?  (58)  Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.  (59)  Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Lord Yeshua’s words are clear here. He tells us that He is before Abraham. What we are witnessing in the world now concerning Israel starts with the descendants of Abraham. Most specifically Isaac and Ishmael. Islam teaches Ishmael was offered on mount Moriah. The Bible as well as Lord Yeshua tells us the following.

Isaac's Birth Promised

Gen 17:15-19 KJV  And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.  (16)  And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.  (17)  Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?  (18)  And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!  (19)  And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

Gen 17:20-22 KJV  And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.  (21)  But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.  (22)  And he left off talking with him, and God went up from Abraham.

The Faith of a Centurion

Mat 8:5-7 KJV  And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,  (6)  And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.  (7)  And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

Mat 8:8-9 KJV  The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.  (9)  For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

Mat 8:10-13 KJV  When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.  (11)  And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.  (12)  But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.  (13)  And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Jesus Heals Many

Mat 8:14-17 KJV  And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever.  (15)  And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.  (16)  When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:  (17)  That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Mat 8:11 KJV  And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

The Narrow Door

Luk 13:22-24 KJV  And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.  (23)  Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,  (24)  Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Luk 13:25-30 KJV  When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:  (26)  Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.  (27)  But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.  (28)  There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.  (29)  And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.  (30)  And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

Lord Yeshua says something very important here. He mentions 3 names. These 3 names being Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The passage from Genesis 17 tells us that the covenant child would be Isaac as opposed to Ishmael. This is what the message is really all about. It’s also the beginning of a battle of different beliefs. This battle trickles down to the days of Jacob and Esau. We have explored the relationship between Esau and the people most specifically the women of Ishmael. He also married into the Canaanites .We will not get into this too much right now. Lord Yeshua Himself confirms that He is the Covenant fulfilled in those 3 individuals of biblical history.

Mat 24:25 KJV  Behold, I have told you before.

Joh 16:2 KJV  They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

Joh 16:4 KJV  But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.

Jesus Foretells Destruction of Jerusalem

Luk 21:20-24 KJV  And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.  (21)  Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.  (22)  For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.  (23)  But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.  (24)  And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

The Lord Will Give Salvation

Zec 12:1-3 KJV  The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.  (2)  Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto allH3605 the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.  (3)  And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though allH3605 the people of the earth be gathered togetherH622against it.

If you have been on board long enough with us you know we detailed Ezekiel 38 and 39 a while back. We are living in a time which seems to very much be a precursor to what is described there. ABBA Father certainly has brought the major powers of the world together. He has brought them together concerning His chosen people Israel. The U.S., China and Russia all have naval ships in the area at this time. This does not include all the nations that have been out to get Israel since the beginning of Israel’s time in scripture.

Now we wish to stress something here. We are not saying that Ezekiel 38 and 39 are being fulfilled. However if the world wanted a precursor to the warfare described there and what we read in Zechariah 12, 13 qnd 14 it‘s certainly found on October 7th. If this does not lead to the events in Ezekiel at this stage we know it’s not far off. Many of the news people out there right now are amazed at the amount of anti-Semitism. Many of us brothers and sisters are surprised. We should know and understand ABBA Father laid out the prophecies of this behavior.

Lord Yeshua told us about the coming days that are not far away at all any more.

The Lesson of the Fig Tree

Mat 24:32-35 KJV  Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:  (33)  So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.  (34)  Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.  (35)  Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

The fig tree is the nation of Israel. The description used here foretells the re-establishment of the nation of Israel in 1948. As we have mentioned before Abraham was born 1,948 years after creation. The world witnessed exactly what we see now. The only difference being the terrorists states seem to be the good guys in all this for some stupid reason. Actually we know why we are seeing this. ABBA Father and Lord Yeshua told us this in their word The Holy Bible.

Zec 12:4-9 KJV  In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.  (5)  And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.  (6)  In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.  (7)  The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.  (8)  In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.  (9)  And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

When ABBA Father is done letting idiots like we have in the white house right now try to handle the affairs of His chosen nation Israel this will be the result. Not only us here in the United States but all other nations that come against Him. That’s right for all my Christian brothers and sisters we said the U.S.

One of the accompanying passages we explored in detail in our Ezekiel38 and 39 studies was /is Psalm 83. We referred to it as the conspiracy fact. In as much as it related to Ezekiel 38:10

Eze 38:10 KJV  Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:

O God, Do Not Keep Silence

Psa 83:1-5 KJV  A Song or Psalm of Asaph. Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.  (2)  For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.  (3)  They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.  (4)  They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.  (5)  For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:

Psa 83:6-9 KJV  The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;  (7)  Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;  (8)  Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.  (9)  Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:

As we explore this list a little we see something that stands out very quickly depending how well we know the people. From the onset almost if not all these folks or nations had direct dealings with Abraham. The real battle we could say goes all the way back to Cain and Abel. We will pick up here with verse 6.

Edom if you are not familiar is another name for Esau. Esau of course is the grandson of Abraham

Gen_28:8  And Esau seeing that the daughters of Canaan pleased not Isaac his father;

Gen_28:9  Then went Esau unto Ishmael, and took unto the wives which he had Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael Abraham's son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife.

Gen 36:3 KJV  And Bashemath Ishmael's daughter, sister of Nebajoth.

Ishmaelites were known for being wanderers throughout the region and of course were descendants of Ishmael son of Abraham through Hagar

Gen 16:3-9 KJV  And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.  (4)  And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.  (5)  And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee.  (6)  But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.  (7)  And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.  (8)  And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.  (9)  And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.

The Ishmaelites are mentioned as a clan in the history of Gideon’s ephod.

Jdg 8:22-28 KJV  Then the men of Israel said unto Gideon, Rule thou over us, both thou, and thy son, and thy son's son also: for thou hast delivered us from the hand of Midian.  (23)  And Gideon said unto them, I will not rule over you, neither shall my son rule over you: the LORD shall rule over you.  (24)  And Gideon said unto them, I would desire a request of you, that ye would give me every man the earrings of his prey. (For they had golden earrings, because they were Ishmaelites.)  (25)  And they answered, We will willingly give them. And they spread a garment, and did cast therein every man the earrings of his prey.  (26)  And the weight of the golden earrings that he requested was a thousand and seven hundred shekels of gold; beside ornaments, and collars, and purple raiment that was on the kings of Midian, and beside the chains that were about their camels' necks.  (27)  And Gideon made an ephod thereof, and put it in his city, even in Ophrah: and all Israel went thither a whoring after it: which thing became a snare unto Gideon, and to his house.  (28)  Thus was Midian subdued before the children of Israel, so that they lifted up their heads no more. And the country was in quietness forty years in the days of Gideon.

Moab was the name of Lot’s son through an act of incest although the law was not given at this time. This took place for those who might not know right after Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed along with 3 other cities. Again we want to stress that the law was not given at this point. Some things should come naturally to us in our behavior.

Gen 19:35-38 KJV  And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.  (36)  Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father.  (37)  And the firstborn bare a son, and called his name Moab: the same is the father of the Moabites unto this day.  (38)  And the younger, she also bare a son, and called his name Benammi: the same is the father of the children of Ammon unto this day.

In the of Numbers chapter 22 something very interesting takes place. Moab teams up with the Midianites. Now the Midianites were born to Abraham in his old age by a concubine named Keturah. Moab holds 2nd place in as much as how many times the Bible mentions it. It comes in at 168 times in our search. Of course they were also a nation if not the first nation to cause Israel to sin. The word Moabites is found 19 times.

Num 22:1-7 KJV  And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in the plains of Moab on this side Jordan by Jericho.  (2)  And Balak the son of Zippor saw all that Israel had done to the Amorites.  (3)  And Moab was sore afraid of the people, because they were many: and Moab was distressed because of the children of Israel.  (4)  And Moab said unto the elders of Midian, Now shall this company lick up all that are round about us, as the ox licketh up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor was king of the Moabites at that time.  (5)  He sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which is by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide over against me:  (6)  Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.  (7)  And the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the rewards of divination in their hand; and they came unto Balaam, and spake unto him the words of Balak.

Gen 25:1-2 KJV  Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.  (2)  And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.

We should note it is interesting that the Ishmaelites and the Hagarenes are separated as to peoples here. Hagar being the mother of Ishmael. They were also known as the Hagarites. The following comes from the history of the Reubenites.

1Ch 5:9-10 KJV  And eastward he inhabited unto the entering in of the wilderness from the river Euphrates: because their cattle were multiplied in the land of Gilead.  (10)  And in the days of Saul they made war with the Hagarites, who fell by their hand: and they dwelt in their tents throughout all the east land of Gilead.

Gebal could be 2 locations as it was known as a city inhabited by the Edomites.
The other places north on the coast even farther north Tyre and Sidon. We believe this is the area referred to in the prophecy of Psalm 83. We base this on the following passage from Ezekiel 27. A prophecy about Tyre

A Lament for Tyre

Eze 27:1-9 KJV  The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,  (2)  Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;  (3)  And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty.  (4)  Thy borders are in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty.  (5)  They have made all thy ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee.  (6)  Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.  (7)  Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee.  (8)  The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise men, O Tyrus, that were in thee, were thy pilots.  (9)  The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise.

Ammon of course is also Jordan found and another of the incestuous act of Lot’s daughter. They come in at third place in our search at 91 times.
Ammonites is found 23 times. There is also a word Ammonitess it is found 4 times.

Amalek and the Amalekites were also wanderers a pattern traced all the way back to Cain and the punishment ABBA Father placed on him he is Esau’s grandson.

Amalek 24 times as well as Amalekites 24 times.

Gen_36:12  And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son; and she bare to Eliphaz Amalek: these were the sons of Adah Esau's wife.

Gen_36:16  Duke Korah, duke Gatam, and duke Amalek: these are the dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these were the sons of Adah.

The Philistines by far the most frequently mentioned enemy of the Hebrew people. Philistines is found 255 times. Philistine is found 33 times. Philistia 3 times.

Exo 13:17 KJV  And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:

1Sa_6:1  And the ark of the LORD was in the country of the Philistines seven months.

Tyre known for its merchant marines we could call them today. Also a very interesting prophecy in Ezekiel 27 and 28.

Tyre and Gebal are included in a passage from Ezekiel 27. This prophecy includes a parallel to the works of Satan himself.

Tyre found 37 times in scripture Tyrus found 22 times

Assur found in this form 2 times is simply Assyria which is found 118 times in scripture. Bashan is simply the Golan Heights as it is known by today. This is the territory disputed between Israel and present day Syria.

Deliver Me, O Lord, from Evil Men

Psa 140:1-13 KJV  To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man;  (2)  Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war.  (3)  They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah.  (4)  Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.  (5)  The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.  (6)  I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.  (7)  O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.  (8)  Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.  (9)  As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.  (10)  Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.  (11)  Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.  (12)  I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.  (13)  Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.

Come to Me, and I Will Give You Rest

Mat 11:25-30 KJV  At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.  (26)  Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.  (27)  All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.  (28)  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  (29)  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  (30)  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Wait for the God of Salvation

Mic 7:1-7 KJV  Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit.  (2)  The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.  (3)  That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.  (4)  The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.  (5)  Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.  (6)  For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.  (7)  Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

As always thanks for sharing a word
