The Election?

A Biblical Point of View

Luk 4:16-21 KJV  And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.  (17)  And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,  (18)  The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,  (19)  To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.  (20)  And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. Mat 11:1-6 KJV  And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities.  (2)  Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,  (3)  And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?  (4)  Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:  (5)  The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.  (6)  And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Mat 11:27-30 KJV  All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.  (28)  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  (29)  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  (30)  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.


Mat 24:5 KJV  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Mar 13:5-6 KJV  And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:  (6)  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Luk 21:8 KJV  And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

If anyone remembers our illustrious leader’s speech a few years back then you remember something like this quote.


“Because if we are willing to work for it, and fight for it, and believe in it, then I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth.

Joh 20:26-31 KJV  And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.  (27)  Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.  (28)  And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.  (29)  Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.  (30)  And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:  (31)  But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Isa 9:6-8 KJV  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.  (7)  Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.  (8)  The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.


1Th 5:1-13 KJV  But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.  (2)  For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.  (3)  For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.  (4)  But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.  (5)  Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.  (6)  Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.  (7)  For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.  (8)  But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.  (9)  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,  (10)  Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.  (11)  Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.  (12)  And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;  (13)  And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. Notice that verse 11 says edify and not deify.

No yours truly is not among those considering president Obama the antichrist as many may very well do. However yours truly firmly believes that he is an instrumental part in Satan’s overall plan for a global governance and any other such as Hillary who may suggest  isolationism and exceptionalism for our nation are old ideas. Yeah exceptionalism is not technically a word so for the progressives and liberals out there that might to try to cherry pick such things. And yes before you say it this ol’ boy is a die hard young earth evolution is the dumbest idea ever invented yes and also from Tennessee kind of guy. Thank You and if you cannot deal with that find another country or serve this one. Although most of all serve the Lord realizing we are not perfect but we are searching for the best in ourselves to come out through the word and spirit. Oh yeah by the way also if Satan ever exposes himself in the form of some alien life yours truly still will not deny the Creator the Father of the Son our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It just means Satan duped you 1 more time. However at least for this preacher man that lie won’t get me as we like to say. Something else might, but where we come from and what we are all about will never be in doubt. Praise God the Father of the Son our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

He is provocative in insisting on an outstretched hand, where others only see animosity.

His tangible results in the short time that he has been active – are few and far between. His greatest results have been created with words and speeches – words that remain in the consciousness of their audience and have long-term effects.

He comes from humble beginnings and defends the weak and vulnerable, because he can identify himself with their conditions.
And no we are not thinking of Jesus Christ, whose birthday has just been celebrated - - but rather the President of the United States Barack Hussein Obama. [...]

If such a comparison were to be made, it would, of course, inevitably be to Obama’s advantage.

Today, his historic Health Reform is being passed through the American Senate – a welfare policy breakthrough that several of his predecessors have been unable to manage. [...]

On the other hand, we have Jesus’ miracles that everyone still remembers, but which only benefitted a few. 

Obama is, of course, greater than Jesus – if we have to play that absurd Christmas game. But it is probably more meaningful to insist that with today’s domestic triumph, that he has already assured himself a place in the history books – a space he has good chances of expanding considerably in coming years.

If you would like to see exactly what greater than Jesus gets you in this day and age see if Denmark has witnessed any walking on water or cessation in crime and so forth. We’ll leave that for now. All we can say to some individual this naïve about the world is sorry.

Well we all know about the murder rate in Chicago. Yeah even those that do not involve white on black. (How dare we mention this we suppose)Look friends we are only searching and seeking for the truth. If any one thinks otherwise they best pray about it. Whenever our society starts using words like mantra and god-like in association to any leader of any color sorry; believers should be picking up on these things. The president does not deserve a capitalization in this comparison. At best he is a very little g god.

BALTIMORE — Maryland Congressman Elijah Cummings has held elected office for more than a quarter-century, so he's seen his fair share of politicians come and go.

But apparently he's never seen one quite like Illinois Sen. Barack Obama.

"This is not a campaign for president of the United States, this is a movement to change the world," he said as he introduced Obama last week in Baltimore.

"You do not get 13,000 people in this auditorium with a campaign." 

If you remember Mr. Cummings was all for finding truth and justice during the operation Fast n Furious hearings. That is until the evidence pointed toward the Obama admin as opposed to the Bush admin. All the democrats except for him and maybe 1 other walked out on people needing answers and justice during the Benghazi gearings. The only reason he did not is probably to protect his position of leadership ha ha on the committee. Just as our current leadership left the people in Benghazi alone to die. This is what happens when we start referring to leaders as “god” like. People begin to protect the individual that will give them the most power. Notice again the little spelling of the word; sorry if this offends any person out there we love the Lord God Almighty around here. The One that has a Son named Jesus.

Well friends here we are at election time again. The reasons for our journey today are manifold. Not just poking at our president. However we just want to make sure that if people are running around shouting they love the Lord on their sleeves then it seems many of them are checking their coats at the door so to speak when it comes to voting. There are also some other reasons if you want to call them political go ahead. This ministry has no problem talking politics and religion. This ministry understands that the scriptures address these issues heavily in the Kings and Chronicles. Not to mention the prophets themselves. This ministry understands that upsetting even those calling themselves conservatives is necessary. 

The above articles and quotations are aimed at doing 1 thing in particular slapping Christians in the face. If you are supporting a pro abortion candidate then according to scripture you are as guilty of murder as the murderer. In the same moment we must mention that calling for punishment for abortions is as bad as the abortion itself. Jesus is all about mercy before the Father. However to the unrepentant He will be a nightmare beyond comprehension.

Well folks here we are and the election season is almost upon us. If you are paying attention or shall we say close honest attention then one thing should be commonly noticed. That being that the best vote is always for Jesus and the whole world has pretty much ganged up on Donald Trump. Look friends we as believers, students and ministers are not in business to promote any candidate over another. However scripture teaches we are not to support leaders who have values contradicting scripture. This is when we ask ourselves as believers if we are going to vote at all how do we vote. Also since the majority of the press seem to prefer Trump bashing over telling us the truth about Hillary there’s not much sense in asking about the perspectives found here. 

We must ask ourselves this question if we call ourselves believers because belief and faith trump all for a better lack of words no pun intended how in the world a liberal gets elected but then again folks check their faith at the voting both. In other words this study will no doubt stir the passions of believers and unbelievers alike. The passions of voters of all parties alike. The reason this is being stated is because most folks in yours truly’s family vote party over faith every time. This way the statement can be made in the purest essence and not offend anyone because most of those family members have gone to sleep or care nothing about what we do around here. 

Psa 25:12 KJV  What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

Psa 33:12 KJV  Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

We have to ask ourselves is there a candidate which supports the fact that overall behaviors on a small basis not big ones are directly related to our nation’s spiritual health with the Lord. The answer to this question will always be no in some fashion or another. However none of us are perfect.

Psa 111:10 KJV  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

Pro 1:7 KJV  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Here’s a verse that will condemn every politician on the face of the planet. As a matter of fact it probably will claim a lot of believers if we are not careful.

Now a verse that will claim a lot. 

Lev 19:15 KJV  Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

As believers folks we start with the basics. That being life. We have to ask ourselves if someone is very supportive of abortion in other words killing a child what are they willing to do to any one else including yourself. It’s up to you to decide who the pro life candidate is although it should not be difficult. If you cannot decide vote for Jesus He is always there.

Deu 30:19 KJV  I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Pro 8:36 KJV  But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

As believers we have to ask ourselves do we have a candidate who is standing up for the rights of our fellow brothers and sisters (Christians) as opposed to pandering to every religion out there whether it promotes killing in this day and age or not. Again it’s up to you but it should not be difficult. Again if you cannot see a clear cut path vote for Jesus. Let’s see if atheists still think not deciding is a choice when you tell them this is your vote.

As believers we have to ask ourselves about marriage and transgender behaviors.

Have you ever thought about this? What will the Olympics do when the first transgendered athlete comes along? 

Another subject we will address using the scripture is lawlessness. Yours truly already figures many people will consider me racist. No that’s not the case. However when looking at the 2 of the worst case incidents involving destruction of Ferguson Missouri and Baltimore Maryland it appears both cities were destroyed over people who broke the law no matter how minute and refused to listen to the police. Sorry that’s the facts not my choice. When African American judges find that policemen and women African American Caucasian whatever are not responsible for African American deaths then it’s kind of hard to say that what happened in those cities respectively was justified. When political pundits posing as ministers find a convenient scripture once in a while to justify this type of destruction the following passages come to mind.

My family, paternal grandparents to be exact, came from the coal mining towns of SW Virginia. I have yet to hear one person ask Tim Kane why he is supporting a candidate that has sworn to destroy the lives of miners and owners? Also why he supports this in his home state apparently. Oh well questions we will never see asked like why officials simply turn their backs on people looking for justice. (Benghazi, Fast nFurious etc…)

We also cannot allow the enemy of the faith to turn our nation into a subdivided meat grinder which is what America is becoming. There are things that some believers may have reservations with concerning Mr. Trump. Hillary’s problems encompass everything we covered here and more. Regarding Mr. Trump some believers may feel that mocking a disabled individual was over the top. He was a little wishy washy concerning Israel at the beginning of things. Even referring to the plight of the Israelis as a real estate deal. 

He has since clarified the Israel situation. To what degree it satisfies you of course is what’s important. Again a minister has no right to tell anyone who they should vote for. However a minister does have the right to make sure if anyone needs a spiritual key to voting that it is there through scripture. So do not think believers automatically have to give a vote to anyone. Hillary already turned her back on Israel by supporting the Iran deal.  

Also though when you see political pundits posing as “reverends” so to speak downplaying Mr. Trump’s recent visit to a black church just remember it won’t be long until the liberals starting with Hillary will put on their best black accent and try to act like some kind of comedienne. She is comedic but in a deadly way unfortunately. At least Mr. Trump’s appeal appeared to be from the heart and he certainly is not taking any ones’ vote for granted. Again if you cannot decide vote for Jesus and pray. That’s really what God and He expect from believers. 

Just remember Jesus is always a choice when no one else is. Just because you may not support the “conservative” candidate does not mean you are betraying Jesus in any way shape or form. He is always a choice easier made than any other.
