Welcome to the World of Biblical Prophecy for History and Today

This Blog is intended to help myself and others gain the best understanding of the world around us through exploration of prophetic scripture. The Bible is the text book. Through these studies we will hopefully provide understanding to both believer and unbeliever alike. The way our God and our Savior Jesus distinguish themselves in the spiritual world is through prophetic means. In other words what the Bible teaches us through fullfillment of these prophecies shows us the truth. Let's take some prophetic journeys through history and at the same time learn about the world around us today. Please try and be patient with any typographical errors as I am my own typist and my own research staff. Thanks

The Days of Visitation 2 Isaiah 24

The Days of Visitation 2
Isaiah 24

Your Word Is a Lamp to My Feet

Psa 119:169-176 KJV  TAU. Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word.  (170)  Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.  (171)  My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.  (172)  My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.  (173)  Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.  (174)  I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.  (175)  Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.  (176)  I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.

Ecc 1:9-11 KJV  The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.  (10)  Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.  (11)  There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.

Ecc 3:15 KJV  That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

Ecc 3:16-17 KJV  And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.  (17)  I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

Jesus Heals a Centurion's Servant

Luk 7:1-8 KJV  Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.  (2)  And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die.  (3)  And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.  (4)  And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:  (5)  For he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue.  (6)  Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof:  (7)  Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.  (8)  For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

Luk 7:9-10 KJV  When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.  (10)  And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.

Jesus Raises a Widow's Son

Luk 7:11-18 KJV  And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.  (12)  Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.  (13)  And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.  (14)  And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.  (15)  And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.  (16)  And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visitedG1980his people.  (17)  And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about.  (18)  And the disciples of John shewed him of all these things.

Hello there again friends. We are continuing forward with some explorations into visitations from ABBA Father. In our last journey we explored some visitations mostly from the OT. We may get back there today as well. As we go along we are hoping to exhaust the use of the word.

In our last journey we looked at a number of times the Bible tells us that ABBA Father visited His chosen people. ABBA Father visited our biblical patriarchs a number of times. They may not all use the specific word we were looking at.

An example of this would be say Jacob wrestling with a mysterious man who many refer to as ABBA Father Himself.

Jacob Wrestles with God

Gen 32:22-30 KJV  And he rose up that night, and took his two wives, and his two womenservants, and his eleven sons, and passed over the ford Jabbok.  (23)  And he took them, and sent them over the brook, and sent over that he had.  (24)  And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.  (25)  And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.  (26)  And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.  (27)  And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.  (28)  And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.  (29)  And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.  (30)  And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

We left off looking at a verse in Proverbs 19. It tells us what we can expect from ABBA Father.

Pro 19:23 KJV  The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.

Our fear of Him and Lord Yeshua/Jesus is what keeps us from being visited by the enemy. We have to remember friends we have a big responsibility for some of the evil that befalls us. However the ultimate permission to allow the enemy’s attacks come from ABBA Father as well. We see this by example with Job.

Job 1:1 KJV  There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

Satan Allowed to Test Job

Job 1:6-12 KJV  Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.  (7)  And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.  (8)  And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?  (9)  Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?  (10)  Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.  (11)  But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.  (12)  And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

Job as we just read was a man as the proverb describes who was shielded from evil for lack of better words. He did not come under spiritual attack from Satan until ABBA Father gave him permission. One of the things ABBA Father assures of through His one and only Son Yeshua/Jesus is spiritual protection. That’s not to say that the enemy cannot get to us. This brings us to this point. We have arrived in Isaiah 24. According to many and this ministry this is a prophecy unfulfilled at this point. The reason being it is a prophecy for the entire earth as we will discover. Let’s get started.

Judgment on the Whole Earth

Isa 24:1-6 KJV  Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.  (2)  And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.  (3)  The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word.  (4)  The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.  (5)  The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.  (6)  Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

Isa 24:7-12 KJV  The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.  (8)  The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.  (9)  They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.  (10)  The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.  (11)  There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.  (12)  In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.

Isa 24:13-16 KJV  When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.  (14)  They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea.  (15)  Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.  (16)  From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.

Isa 24:17-20 KJV  Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.  (18)  And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.  (19)  The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.  (20)  The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

Isa 24:21-23 KJV  And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.  (22)  And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pitH953, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visitedH6485.  (23)  Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

This word pit is another name for Hell
If you remember this is the word study from the OT in part 1 of visitations.

Let’s explore verse 1 here for a moment or 2. Many folks believe this was the Babylonian captivity period. As we move forward with this chapter we will discover how it comes to affect the world we see today. ABBA Father as we have explored in Isaiah (also other prophets) has a dual message for both the time of the Babylonians and the world we know today as well.

Isa 24:1 KJV  Behold, the LORD maketh the earth emptyH1238, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

H1238
בָּקַק
bâqaq
baw-kah'
A primitive root; to pour out, that is, to empty, figuratively to depopulate; by analogy to spread out (as a fruitful vine): - (make) empty (out), fail, X utterly, make void.
Total KJV occurrences: 9

The debate with regard to what is going on with relationship to which world we are talking about. One way we can explore this is to see where else we have this word used in prophecy. Let’s look briefly at a few of these verses and we will probably see that there is a difference in the wording concerning the earth.

Isa 19:3 KJV  And the spirit of Egypt shall failH1238in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.

Clearly a prophecy against Egypt

Jer 19:7 KJV  And I will make voidH1238the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and their carcases will I give to be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.

Clearly a prophecy regarding the first fall of Jerusalem.

Jer 51:2 KJV  And will send unto Babylon fanners, that shall fan her, and shall emptyH1238her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about.

A prophecy regarding the fall of Babylon then and upcoming.

Hos 10:1 KJV  Israel is an emptyH1238vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.

Nah 2:2 KJV  For the LORD hath turned away the excellency of Jacob, as the excellency of Israel: for the emptiersH1238have emptiedH1238 them out, and marred their vine branches.

As we can see there is a definite difference between the nation of Israel and the earth as a whole then and now.

Let’s move forward and explore Isaiah 24:2

Isa 24:2 KJV  And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.

No one is spared from this judgment. As we have before in our looks into Isaiah we see that the many facets of society are no longer protected by ABBA Father. This was also the case when we explored Isaiah 3. That study is a must read especially for Americans.

Isa 3:1-5 KJV  For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water,  (2)  The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,  (3)  The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.  (4)  And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.  (5)  And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.

We explored how all these aspects of society have started to take place here in America. The way ABBA Father lays it out is we lose His Holy Spirit protection by taking the bread and water.

Lord Yeshua Jesus is the bread of life.

Joh 6:31-35 KJV  Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.  (32)  Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.  (33)  For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.  (34)  Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.  (35)  And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Lord Yeshua/Jesus is also the fountain and river of living waters.

The River of Life

Rev 22:1-5 KJV  And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.  (2)  In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.  (3)  And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:  (4)  And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.  (5)  And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

ABBA Father takes away the Holy Spirit and then as we have said before starts to systematically destroy the nation.

Now we will say 1 more thing about the scope of verse 2. That of the few passages in scripture which describe society in this broad a range we find a couple in the book of Revelation.
 The Second Beast

Rev 13:11-15 KJV  And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.  (12)  And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.  (13)  And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,  (14)  And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.  (15)  And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Rev 13:16-18 KJV  And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:  (17)  And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.  (18)  Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

The ultimate outcome for folks who don’t want ABBA Father or Lord Yeshua/Jesus is the mark of the beast. It does not matter who you are or who you are not. As Isaiah tells us in verse 2. In some upcoming journeys ABBA Father willing we will explore some ways that all facets of society can be brought down to being equally distressed.

Isa 24:3-6 KJV  The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word.

These are fulfillments of prophecies ABBA Father gave to the people way back in the days of Leviticus and Deuteronomy.

Lev 26:21-24 KJV  And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.  (22)  I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.  (23)  And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;  (24)  Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.

Deu 4:23-27 KJV  Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee.  (24)  For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.  (25)  When thou shalt beget children, and children's children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger:  (26)  I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed.  (27)  And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you.

Deu 28:58-62 KJV  If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;  (59)  Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.  (60)  Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.  (61)  Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.  (62)  And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the LORD thy God.

The point being of course that ABBA Father warned that the people would be severely punished with few left. Again no class of people was above any other when it comes to what was going to happen.

Isa 24:7-11 KJV  The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.

In other words the party is over.

Rev 18:21-24 KJV  And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.  (22)  And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;  (23)  And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.  (24)  And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Isa 24:12-14 KJV  In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.  (13)  When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.  (14)  They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea.

Here in verse 13 the extent of this desolation is described as the gleanings after the harvest. The gleanings being the last little bits of the corners of the field after the main harvest is completed. This could be an indicator of the rapture as well when exploring the aspects of the harvests.

Another indication this prophecy concerns the end of the age is the fact that people are crying aloud from the sea. Again another place that ABBA Father sent the Hebrew people was to the island nations. This means that this prophecy will affect those areas too. This would also indicate that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of ABBA Father and Lord Yeshua/Jesus. Again looking like signs of the end of the age.

Isa 24:15-16 KJV  Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.  (16)  From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.

In other words the godless have dealt godlessly.

In other words there will be no place for those people that ABBA Father describes as treacherous. We also see in verse 18 that ABBA Father is doing something very similar to the flood here. The windows of heaven being opened and the foundations shake.

Gen 7:4-11 KJV  For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.  (5)  And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.  (6)  And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.  (7)  And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.  (8)  Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,  (9)  There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.  (10)  And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.  (11)  In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

This is another good indicator that the word Isaiah is given to tell us regards the entire earth. These are descriptions of a global judgment. The actions taking place here in Isaiah took place first in the flood.

Remember what verse 6 told us.

Isa 24:6 KJV  Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

Now remember what Peter tells us about the next big global judgment if not universal judgment.

The Day of the Lord Will Come

2Pe 3:1-10 KJV  This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:  (2)  That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:  (3)  Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,  (4)  And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.  (5)  For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:  (6)  Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:  (7)  But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.  (8)  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.  (9)  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  (10)  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Isa 24:20 KJV  The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

The Seventh Bowl

Rev 16:17-18 KJV  And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.  (18)  And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

This could be a very interesting scenario. Some have even gone as far as to suggest a pole shift. We just hope that we are all safe and sound up in Heaven when ABBA Father decides to do this. The rapture should have taken place by this point.

Isa 24:21-23 KJV  And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.  (22)  And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.  (23)  Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

Although we do see the fulfillment of Babylon in this prophecy we still have a peek into future events for the planet. If the earth is going to reel to and fro it seems we have not seen this take place yet.

The fulfillment concerning the high and the mighty as we use to say appears to be in Revelation 19.
The Rider on a White Horse

Rev 19:11-16 KJV  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  (12)  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.  (13)  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.  (14)  And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.  (15)  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.  (16)  And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Rev 19:17-21 KJV  And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;  (18)  That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.  (19)  And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.  (20)  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.  (21)  And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Isa 24:23 KJV  Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

Rev 21:22-27 KJV  And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.  (23)  And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.  (24)  And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.  (25)  And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.  (26)  And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.  (27)  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Rev 22:7 KJV  Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Mic 7:7 KJV  Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

The Days of Visitation

The Days of Visitation

The Triumphal Entry

Luk 19:28-31 KJV  And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem.  (29)  And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,  (30)  Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.  (31)  And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.

Luk 19:32-36 KJV  And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.  (33)  And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt?  (34)  And they said, The Lord hath need of him.  (35)  And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.  (36)  And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.

Luk 19:37-40 KJV  And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;  (38)  Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.  (39)  And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.  (40)  And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

Jesus Weeps over Jerusalem

Luk 19:41-44 KJV  And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,  (42)  Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.  (43)  For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,  (44)  And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitationG1984

Hello there friends. We are exploring the subject of visitations. We try here at the ministry to remember the things ABBA Father and Lord Yeshua/Jesus command. ABBA Father tells us in many different ways about the things He did with the Hebrew people. Of course many did forget. Never all the people as He always leaves a remnant.

The word visitation has the qualities of both noun and verb with the appropriate tenses. We are choosing to start out our journey exploring the word “visited” in scripture. In the OT the word appears 18 times. The same Hebrew word is used throughout. The first time we see this word used for a visitation is in Genesis 21.

The Birth of Isaac

Gen 21:1-7 KJV  And the LORD visitedH6485(H853)Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.  (2)  For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.  (3)  And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.  (4)  And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him.  (5)  And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.  (6)  And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.  (7)  And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.

In this instance the visitation leads to the birth of Isaac and a covenant. This covenant is everlasting. The covenant that leads to Lord Yeshua/Jesus coming to save us all. In other words no Mt. Moriah no Mt. Calvary.

The Burning Bush

Exo 3:1-6 KJV  Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.  (2)  And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.  (3)  And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.  (4)  And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.  (5)  And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.  (6)  Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

Exo 3:7-8 KJV  And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;  (8)  And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

Exo 3:9-12 KJV  Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.  (10)  Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.  (11)  And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?  (12)  And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.

Exo 3:13-15 KJV  And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?  (14)  And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.  (15)  And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

Exo 3:16-18 KJV  Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visitedH6485 you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:  (17)  And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.  (18)  And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.

One of the things we noticed at the start is that this word in its different forms means one thing. That one thing being ABBA Father is always associated to it and miracles. This visit was a continuance of a promise that ABBA Father made to Abraham.

Gen 15:1-5 KJV  After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.  (2)  And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?  (3)  And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.  (4)  And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.  (5)  And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

Gen 15:13-14 KJV  And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;  (14)  And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

Moses Returns to Egypt

Exo 4:18-21 KJV  And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father in law, and said unto him, Let me go, I pray thee, and return unto my brethren which are in Egypt, and see whether they be yet alive. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace.  (19)  And the LORD said unto Moses in Midian, Go, return into Egypt: for all the men are dead which sought thy life.  (20)  And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.  (21)  And the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.

Exo 4:24-27 KJV  And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the LORD met him, and sought to kill him.  (25)  Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me.  (26)  So he let him go: then she said, A bloody husband thou art, because of the circumcision.  (27)  And the LORD said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him in the mount of God, and kissed him.

Exo 4:28-31 KJV  And Moses told Aaron all the words of the LORD who had sent him, and all the signs which he had commanded him.  (29)  And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel:  (30)  And Aaron spake all the words which the LORD had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.  (31)  And the people believed: and when they heard that the LORD had visitedH6485the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.

ABBA Father according to plan came to visit at the time He said He would to begin to claim His people from pharaoh. The visits we have explored to this point all had to take place in order to birth a nation that would give birth to our Messiah Yeshua/Jesus.

Korah's Rebellion

Num 16:1-3 KJV  Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:  (2)  And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:  (3)  And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?

Num 16:4-7 KJV  And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face:  (5)  And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.  (6)  This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company;  (7)  And put fire therein, and put incense in them before the LORD to morrow: and it shall be that the man whom the LORD doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.

Num 16:8-13 KJV  And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi:  (9)  Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?  (10)  And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also?  (11)  For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the LORD: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him?  (12)  And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up:  (13)  Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?

Num 16:14-19 KJV  Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.  (15)  And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the LORD, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.  (16)  And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy company before the LORD, thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow:  (17)  And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring ye before the LORD every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer.  (18)  And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses and Aaron.  (19)  And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the congregation.

Num 16:20-25 KJV  And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,  (21)  Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.  (22)  And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?  (23)  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,  (24)  Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.  (25)  And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.

Num 16:26-28 KJV  And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.  (27)  So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.  (28)  And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.

Num 16:29-35 KJV  If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me.  (30)  But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.  (31)  And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:  (32)  And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.  (33)  They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.  (34)  And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.  (35)  And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.

Num 16:29 KJV  If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visitedH6485after the visitationH6486of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me.

Rth 1:1-5 KJV  Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehemjudah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.  (2)  And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehemjudah. And they came into the country of Moab, and continued there.  (3)  And Elimelech Naomi's husband died; and she was left, and her two sons.  (4)  And they took them wives of the women of Moab; the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth: and they dwelled there about ten years.  (5)  And Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband.

Ruth's Loyalty to Naomi

Rth 1:6-7 KJV  Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visitedH6485his people in giving them bread.  (7)  Wherefore she went forth out of the place where she was, and her two daughters in law with her; and they went on the way to return unto the land of Judah.

Rth 1:8-15 KJV  And Naomi said unto her two daughters in law, Go, return each to her mother's house: the LORD deal kindly with you, as ye have dealt with the dead, and with me.  (9)  The LORD grant you that ye may find rest, each of you in the house of her husband. Then she kissed them; and they lifted up their voice, and wept.  (10)  And they said unto her, Surely we will return with thee unto thy people.  (11)  And Naomi said, Turn again, my daughters: why will ye go with me? are there yet any more sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands?  (12)  Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons;  (13)  Would ye tarry for them till they were grown? would ye stay for them from having husbands? nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your sakes that the hand of the LORD is gone out against me.  (14)  And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her.  (15)  And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law.

Rth 1:16-18 KJV  And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:  (17)  Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.  (18)  When she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, then she left speaking unto her.

This visitation led to the coming of the birth of David eventually.

Luk 19:44 KJV  And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

This is the Messiah’s warning to the Jewish people that did not receive Him for who He is. Lord Yeshua/Jesus repeats this warning a little later in Luke 21. Another passage concerning the end of the age.

Luk 21:6 KJV  As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Eli's Worthless Sons

1Sa 2:12-17 KJV  Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the LORD.  (13)  And the priests' custom with the people was, that, when any man offered sacrifice, the priest's servant came, while the flesh was in seething, with a fleshhook of three teeth in his hand;  (14)  And he struck it into the pan, or kettle, or caldron, or pot; all that the fleshhook brought up the priest took for himself. So they did in Shiloh unto all the Israelites that came thither.  (15)  Also before they burnt the fat, the priest's servant came, and said to the man that sacrificed, Give flesh to roast for the priest; for he will not have sodden flesh of thee, but raw.  (16)  And if any man said unto him, Let them not fail to burn the fat presently, and then take as much as thy soul desireth; then he would answer him, Nay; but thou shalt give it me now: and if not, I will take it by force.  (17)  Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the LORD: for men abhorred the offering of the LORD.

1Sa 2:18-21 KJV  But Samuel ministered before the LORD, being a child, girded with a linen ephod.  (19)  Moreover his mother made him a little coat, and brought it to him from year to year, when she came up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice.  (20)  And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the LORD. And they went unto their own home.  (21)  And the LORD visitedH6485Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.

Here is another visitation by ABBA Father that results in the birth of someone who does great things with Him. We also see ABBA Father intervening with the birth of a child. Not much different than Abraham and Lord Yeshua/Jesus. Samuel as with all others played a very important role in biblical history as ABBA Father’s chosen prophet to watch over the matters of the rulers. These most notably being Saul and David.

In the Shadow of Your Wings

Psa 17:1-9 KJV  A Prayer of David. Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.  (2)  Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.  (3)  Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visitedH6485me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.  (4)  Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.  (5)  Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.  (6)  I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.  (7)  Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.  (8)  Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,  (9)  From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.

Psa 17:10-15 KJV  They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.  (11)  They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;  (12)  Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.  (13)  Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:  (14)  From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.  (15)  As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

This Psalm a prayer of king David is also a prayer for all. Basically an example for the rest of us who choose ABBA Father and Lord Yeshua/Jesus. They have worked a lot of things in the life of yours truly. We are pretty sure they have and will do the same for anyone making the change in their life.

Pro 19:23 KJV  The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visitedH6485with evil.

We have explored the word evil in our recent journeys. This is one of the verses we are sure we looked at in one of those so far. We have also explore over the years how important the fear of the Lord is. This is one important reason right here. The verse states that evil cannot visit those who have the appropriate fear of ABBA Father and Lord Yeshua/Jesus.

We will hopefully be squeezing a couple of looks into this phrase “the fear of the Lord”. As we always say if  ABBA Father allows enough time. We will begin to start closing this journey with the following which we will probably see more of in the future.

We found it interesting that the word used for visited in Matthew 25 concerning the final judgment is basically the same word.

The Final Judgment

Mat 25:31-40 KJV  When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:  (32)  And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:  (33)  And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.  (34)  Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:  (35)  For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:  (36)  Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visitedG1980me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.  (37)  Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?  (38)  When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?  (39)  Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?  (40)  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, In asmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

G1980
ἐπισκέπτομαι
episkeptomai
ep-ee-skep'-tom-ahee;
Middle voice from G1909 and the base of G4649; to inspect, that is, (by implication) to select; by extension to go to see, relieve: - look out, visit.
Total KJV occurrences: 11

Mat 25:41-46 KJV  Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:  (42)  For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:  (43)  I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visitedG1980me not.  (44)  Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?  (45)  Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.  (46)  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Zechariah's Prophecy

Luk 1:67-75 KJV  And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,  (68)  Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,  (69)  And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;  (70)  As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:  (71)  That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;  (72)  To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;  (73)  The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,  (74)  That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,  (75)  In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

Luk 1:76-80 KJV  And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;  (77)  To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,  (78)  Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,  (79)  To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.  (80)  And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.

Luk 1:68 KJV  Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visitedG1980and redeemed his people,

Let’s return to our opening passage from the Messiah Yeshua/Jesus.

Luk 19:41-44 KJV  And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,  (42)  Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.  (43)  For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,  (44)  And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

In this passage Lord Yeshua/Jesus warns the people of Jerusalem what will happen for not knowing the time of the visitation. Just imagine this applied to a global scale. This is what will happen on a global scale when it comes to the return of our Lord and Savior Yeshua/Jesus. The Bible tells us that we do not set dates or times.

However the Bible says we are not in darkness of that day as well.

The Day of the Lord

1Th 5:1-6 KJV  But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.  (2)  For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.  (3)  For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.  (4)  But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.  (5)  Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.  (6)  Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

1Th 5:7-11 KJV  For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.  (8)  But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.  (9)  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,  (10)  Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.  (11)  Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Final Instructions and Benediction

1Th 5:12-15 KJV  And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;  (13)  And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.  (14)  Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.  (15)  See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

1Th 5:16-22 KJV  Rejoice evermore.  (17)  Pray without ceasing.  (18)  In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.  (19)  Quench not the Spirit.  (20)  Despise not prophesyings.  (21)  Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.  (22)  Abstain from all appearance of evil.

1Th 5:23-28 KJV  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  (24)  Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.  (25)  Brethren, pray for us.  (26)  Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss.  (27)  I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren.  (28)  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. The first epistle to the Thessalonians was written from Athens.

Rev 22:7 KJV  Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Mic 7:7 KJV  Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

As always thanks for sharing a word
