Welcome to the World of Biblical Prophecy for History and Today

This Blog is intended to help myself and others gain the best understanding of the world around us through exploration of prophetic scripture. The Bible is the text book. Through these studies we will hopefully provide understanding to both believer and unbeliever alike. The way our God and our Savior Jesus distinguish themselves in the spiritual world is through prophetic means. In other words what the Bible teaches us through fullfillment of these prophecies shows us the truth. Let's take some prophetic journeys through history and at the same time learn about the world around us today. Please try and be patient with any typographical errors as I am my own typist and my own research staff. Thanks

Mat 24:25 KJV Behold, I have told you before. Revisiting Zechariah 12-14 Zechariah 14:12

Mat 24:25 KJV Behold, I have told you before.
Revisiting Zechariah 12-14
Zechariah 14:12 The Plague and Its Affects

Your Word Is a Lamp to My Feet

Psa 119:169-176 KJV  TAU. Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word.  (170)  Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.  (171)  My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.  (172)  My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.  (173)  Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.  (174)  I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.  (175)  Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.  (176)  I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.

Ecc 1:9-11 KJV  The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.  (10)  Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.  (11)  There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.

Ecc 3:14-15 KJV  I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.  (15)  That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

Ecc 3:16-17 KJV  And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.  (17)  I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

Christ Came to Fulfill the Law

Mat 5:17-20 KJV Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.  (18)  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.  (19)  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.  (20)  For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 5:17 KJV  Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

The Example of Christ

Rom 15:1-7 KJV  We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.  (2)  Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.  (3)  For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.  (4)  For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.  (5)  Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:  (6)  That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.  (7)  Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

Rom 15:4 KJV  For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

The Coming Day of the Lord

Zec 14:1-5 KJV  Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.  (2)  For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.  (3)  Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.  (4)  And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.  (5)  And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

Zec 14:6-12 KJV  And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:  (7)  But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.  (8)  And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.  (9)  And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.  (10)  All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.  (11)  And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.  (12)  And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Hello again friends. We are going to take a fresh look at Zechariah 14:12. Meaning we will explore some subjects we probably did not in our initial chapter by chapter studies of Zechariah

Zec 14:12 KJV  And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume awayH4743 while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume awayH4743 in their holes, and their tongue shall consume awayH4743 in their mouth.

This verse has caused a lot of speculation amongst scholars that nuclear warfare is being described here. We are not in much position to disagree but we do feel that ABBA Father and Lord Yeshua may use something a little more super natural as opposed to something we cooked up as humans. Some of the commentaries we use from time to time have some interesting things to say about this verse as well. The scholars we quote here time to time have some interesting thoughts about the future as it was seen in their day. We felt a good approach to this verse would be to look at the descriptions that are given as to the effects on the human body. Let’s start with Albert Barnes Notes on the Bible.

Verse 12 tells us 3 things about the human body that will take place when ABBA Father and Lord Yeshua carry this warfare out. The first thing mentioned is the flesh will consume away. It is that subject we will explore in this journey.

We decided to look at this 2 word phrase consume away.

H4743
מָקַק
ma^qaq
maw-kak'
A primitive root; to melt; figuratively to flow, dwindle, vanish: - consume away, be corrupt, dissolve, pine away. Total KJV occurrences: 10

We felt that it was interesting to note this word appears 10 times in the OT. Oddly enough it appears in 7 verses. That’s interesting when we find those throughout the scripture in association with judgments. We recently did some studies on the curses for disobedience found in Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28. The first place we found this word in our search was in Leviticus 26.

Again, upon the restoration of His people follows the destruction of His enemies. It shall, first and chiefly, be God’s doing, not man’s. “This shall be the plague.” The word is used of direct infliction by pestilence, “wherewith the Lord shall smite all the people (peoples) that fought against Jerusalem.” The awful description is of living corpses. Lap.: “The enemies of Jerusalem shall waste, not with fever or disease, but by a plague from God, so that, being sound, standing, living, in well-being, they should waste and consume away,” as Isaiah speaks of the “carcasses of the men, that have transgressed against Me; for their worm shall not die - and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh” Isa_66:24.

Their flesh shall consume away - Rather, “wasting away the flesh of each one.” It is the act of God, in His individual justice to each one of all those multitudes gathered against Him. One by one, “their eyes,” of which they said, “let our eye look on Zion” Mic_4:11, that is, with joy at its desolation, “shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue,” wherewith they blasphemed God, “shall consume away in their mouths” (compare Psa_12:3; Isa_36:15, Isa_36:18; Isa_37:3-4, Isa_37:17, Isa_37:23, Isa_37:29). Appalling, horrible, picture! “standing on their feet,” yet their flesh mouldering away as in a grave-yard, their sightless balls decaying in their holes, the tongue putrefying in their mouth, a disgust to themselves and to others! Yet what, compared to the horrible inward decay of sin, whereby men “have a name that they live and are dead?” Rev_3:1. Jerome: “Let us read Ecclesiastical histories, what Valerian, Decius, Diocletian, Maximian, what the savagest of all, Maximin, and lately Julian suffered, and then we shall prove by deeds, that the truth of prophecy was fulfilled in the letter also.”

Lev 26:39 KJV  And they that are left of you shall pine awayH4743
in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine awayH4743with them.

For those who may not be familiar with the word pine we will use a reference from Webster’s 1828 Dictionary.

PINE, v.i.

1. To languish; to lose flesh or wear away under any distress of anxiety of mind; to grow lean; followed sometimes by away.

PINE, v.t. To wear out; to make to languish.

Where shivering cold and sickness pines the clime.

Beroe pined with pain.

1. To grieve for; to bemoan in silence.

PINE, n. Woe; want; penury; misery.

Next stop Psalm 38 as always also we encourage you to indulge in the entire chapters we are mentioning.

Do Not Forsake Me, O Lord

Psa 38:1-5 KJV  A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. O LORD, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.  (2)  For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore.  (3)  There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.  (4)  For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.  (5)  My wounds stink and are corruptH4743 because of my foolishness.

Judgment on the Nations

Isa 34:1-4 KJV  Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.  (2)  For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.  (3)  Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.  (4)  And all the host of heaven shall be dissolvedH4743, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

The Siege of Jerusalem Symbolized

Eze 4:13-17 KJV  And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them.  (14)  Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.  (15)  Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith.  (16)  Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:  (17)  That they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consume awayH4743 for their iniquity.

Ezekiel's Wife Dies

Eze 24:20-27 KJV  Then I answered them, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,  (21)  Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword.  (22)  And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.  (23)  And your tires shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine awayH4743for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another.  (24)  Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.  (25)  Also, thou son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters,  (26)  That he that escapeth in that day shall come unto thee, to cause thee to hear it with thine ears?  (27)  In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Why Will You Die, Israel?

Eze 33:10-16 KJV  Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine awayH4743 in them, how should we then live?  (11)  Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?  (12)  Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.  (13)  When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.  (14)  Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;  (15)  If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.  (16)  None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

Eze 33:17-20 KJV  Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.  (18)  When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby.  (19)  But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.  (20)  Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.

It’s quite apparent that this word is used in the form of judgment. No matter how big or small in this case. In a search we did on the phrase “sins of the flesh”  exact brought up a passage from Paul in Colossians 2.

Alive in Christ

Col 2:6-10 KJV  As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:  (7)  Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.  (8)  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.  (9)  For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.  (10)  And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Col 2:11-15 KJV  In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the fleshG4561by the circumcision of Christ:  (12)  Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.  (13)  And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your fleshG4561, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;  (14)  Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;  (15)  And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

G4561

Probably from the base of G4563; flesh (as stripped of the skin), that is, (strictly) the meat of an animal (as food), or (by extension) the body (as opposed to the soul (or spirit), or as the symbol of what is external, or as the means of kindred, or (by implication) human nature (with its frailties (physically or morally) and passions), or (specifically) a human being (as such): - carnal (-ly, + -ly minded), flesh ([-ly]).    Total KJV occurrences: 151

As we can see this word appears 151 times in the NT. There are 2 times we found it associated to the word carnal. The 2 times we referenced are found in Romans 8.

As we mentioned above there are 2 verses which use a form of the word carnal. The fact that Zechariah tells us this is the first consequence of the plague ABBA Father is sending may run very deep. The flesh is mentioned first. We will come back to this shortly. The word flesh is no stranger to Zechariah’s prophecies. The word is found in 2 other chapters as well. They would be chapters 2 and 11. Let’s explore Romans 8 for a few moments.

Life in the Spirit

Rom 8:1-8 KJV  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  (2)  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.  (3)  For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:  (4)  That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  (5)  For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  (6)  For to be carnallyG4561minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  (7)  Because the carnalG4561mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  (8)  So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Rom 8:9-15 KJV  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.  (10)  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.  (11)  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.  (12)  Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.  (13)  For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.  (14)  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  (15)  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

This passage we just read symbolizes what we are saying about the world following its fleshly desires. This meaning the people within will be filled with the worldly desires and hatred for believers such as never been. Zechariah tells us what will happen to them and it starts with the flesh.

A Vision of a Man with a Measuring Line

Zec 2:10-13 KJV  Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.  (11)  And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.  (12)  And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.  (13)  Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

Zec 11:15-17 KJV  And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.  (16)  For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.  (17)  Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.

We found this to be profoundly interesting because the people involved in the warfare of Zechariah most particularly chapter 14 will be slaves to the flesh. Some may call it a matter of opinion, but we feel that chapter 14 and the glorious moment Lord Yeshua split’s the mount of Olives in half is after the rapture and upon our return with our King, Savior and bride groom. The way we see it all of those who go with our Lord and Savior Yeshua will be people of the Holy Spirit. The armies advancing on Jerusalem at this point doing so for gain of spoil. That meaning they are after earthly things of the flesh. And this is the first effect of the plague ABBA Father sends.

Prophecy Against Gog

Eze 38:11-13 KJV  And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,  (12)  To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.  (13)  Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?

Those found worthy enough to escape in the rapture are of the Holy Spirit in pursuit of the kingdom of God or ABBA Father. The phrase “kingdom of God” exactly is found 70 times in the NT of the KJV. The kingdom was taken from Israel and given to a new people. A new people that would praise ABBA Father and Lord Yeshua.

Mat 21:42-46 KJV  Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?  (43)  Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.  (44)  And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.  (45)  And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.  (46)  But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

Do Not Hide Your Face from Me

Psa 102:12-18 KJV  But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.  (13)  Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.  (14)  For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.  (15)  So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.  (16)  When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.  (17)  He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.  (18)  This shall be written for the generation to comeH314: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.

H314
אַחֲרֹן    אַחֲריֹן
'achăryôn    'achărôn
akh-ar-one', akh-ar-one'
From H309; hinder; generally late or last; specifically (as facing the east) western: - after (-ward), to come, following, hind (-er, -ermost, -most), last, latter, rereward, ut(ter)most. Total KJV occurrences: 50

We wanted to point this word out as the study we did is found in the acharon studies. This meaning the end of the end or the conclusion of the conclusion according to people like Perry Stone and Bill Cloud. ABBA Father prophesies here about the coming people to worship Him.

Mat 19:1-6 KJV  And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan;  (2)  And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.  (3)  The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?  (4)  And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,  (5)  And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?  (6)  Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Is it not interesting that Lord Yeshua puts it to us the way He does here. Is it not also interesting that here we are in the last days talking about sins of so called sexual orientation. No one is born any other way than 1 of 2 choices male or female. Our Lord and Savior reaffirms that here. It’s a shame that many so called Christian denominations are ignoring our Lord and Savior’s words such as the Methodist church. It’s also interesting that the Methodist church has no issue with the subject of evolution. We don’t have time to develop all this right now. Let’s just say people quit believing in a biblical God named ABBA Father and His Son Lord Yeshua. Amen!!

The Abomination of Desolation

Mat 24:12-22 KJV  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.  (13)  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.  (14)  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.  (15)  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)  (16)  Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:  (17)  Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:  (18)  Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.  (19)  And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!  (20)  But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:  (21)  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.  (22)  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be savedG4982: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

G4982
σώζω
sōzō
sode'-zo
From a primary word σῶς sōs̄ (contraction for the obsolete σάος saos, “safe”); to save, that is, deliver or protect (literally or figuratively): - heal, preserve, save (self), do well, be (make) whole. Total KJV occurrences: 110

Remember Lord Yeshua’s words here. No flesh at all would be saved if not for His intervention. We cannot save ourselves. That’s another false teaching consuming some denominations today. The word saved as we come to know it as believers is another 1 of those words that has duel meanings. There is the word save as we know it meaning an exception if you will. Then there is the spiritual meaning to being saved as we placed above.

Gal 5:16-26 KJV  This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.  (17)  For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.  (18)  But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.  (19)  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  (20)  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  (21)  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  (22)  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  (23)  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.  (24)  And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.  (25)  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  (26)  Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Eph 5:1-11 KJV  Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;  (2)  And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.  (3)  But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;  (4)  Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.  (5)  For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.  (6)  Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.  (7)  Be not ye therefore partakers with them.  (8)  For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:  (9)  (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)  (10)  Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.  (11)  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

We are witnessing in the world not just here in America the worst anti-Semitism push in history. Christians who are judgmental instead of supporting Israel. As hard as it may be for some to hear there are actually many liberal Christians supporting the terrorists. The documentaries are out there. The Call of Abram

Gen 12:1-3 KJV  Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:  (2)  And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:  (3)  And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Abraham and the Covenant of Circumcision

Gen 17:1-10 KJV  And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.  (2)  And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.  (3)  And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,  (4)  As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.  (5)  Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.  (6)  And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.  (7)  And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generationsH5769for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.  (8)  And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.  (9)  And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.  (10)  This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

H5769
עֹלָם    עוֹלָם
‛ôlâm    ‛ôlâm
o-lawm', o-lawm'
From H5956; properly concealed, that is, the vanishing point; generally time out of mind (past or future), that is, (practically) eternity; frequentative adverbially (especially with prepositional prefix) always: - always (-s), ancient (time), any more, continuance, eternal, (for, [n-]) ever (-lasting, -more, of old), lasting, long (time), (of) old (time), perpetual, at any time, (beginning of the) world (+ without end). Compare H5331, H5703. Total KJV occurrences: 438

We will include a look at the root word this is derived from.

H5956
עָלַם
‛âlam
aw-lam'
A primitive root; to veil from sight, that is, conceal (literally or figuratively): -    X any ways, blind, dissembler, hide (self), secret (thing). Total KJV occurrences: 28

The definitions of these words imply something concealed or vanished. That is an extremely interesting thought when we consider the rapture. In addition to implying something ancient in perpetuality. So what did we go through all that for? Well to tell you that the ancient covenants ABBA Father made are not ancient history or non-existent. They are described as perpetual. Now we would like to show Noah Webster’s definition of perpetual from his 1828 dictionary.

Perpetual
PERPET'UAL, a. [L. perpetuus, from perpes, perpetis; per and pes, from a root signifying to pass.]

1. Never ceasing; continuing forever in future time; destined to be eternal; as a perpetual covenant; a perpetual statute.

[Literally true with respect to the decrees of the Supreme Being.]

2. Continuing or continued without intermission; uninterrupted; as a perpetual stream; the perpetual action of the heart and arteries.

3. Permanent; fixed; not temporary; as a perpetual law or edict; perpetual love or amity, perpetual incense. Exo 30.

4. Everlasting; endless.

Destructions are come to a perpetual end. Psa 9.

5. During the legal dispensation. Exo 29.

This means that you still have time (probably not a great deal) to make a choice based on the scripture. ABBA Father 3 times in the book of Exodus tells us who He is The God of.

Exo_3:6  Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

Exo_3:15  And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

Exo_4:5  That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.

We started these fresh looks into Zechariah 12-14 journeying through scripture explaining the current problems in the middle east. ABBA Father is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He is not the god of Abraham, Ishmael and Esau. Actually He is it’s just that the descendants of the latter 3 here reject Him.

Sadducees Ask About the Resurrection

Mat 22:23-28 KJV  The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,  (24)  Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.  (25)  Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:  (26)  Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.  (27)  And last of all the woman died also.  (28)  Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.

Mat 22:29-33 KJV  Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.  (30)  For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.  (31)  But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,  (32)  I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.  (33)  And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.

We hope if you are still sitting on the fence about faith, ABBA Father and Lord Yeshua time is running out to make a choice between being a spiritual or a carnal individual. The way things are going in the world right now that time may be growing very short. You do not want to end up as 1 of the combatants on this battlefield with ABBA Father and Lord Yeshua.

Come to Me, and I Will Give You Rest

Mat 11:25-30 KJV  At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.  (26)  Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.  (27)  All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.  (28)  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  (29)  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  (30)  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Wait for the God of Salvation

Mic 7:1-7 KJV  Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit.  (2)  The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.  (3)  That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.  (4)  The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.  (5)  Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.  (6)  For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.  (7)  Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

As always thanks for sharing a word
God Bless
