Welcome to the World of Biblical Prophecy for History and Today

This Blog is intended to help myself and others gain the best understanding of the world around us through exploration of prophetic scripture. The Bible is the text book. Through these studies we will hopefully provide understanding to both believer and unbeliever alike. The way our God and our Savior Jesus distinguish themselves in the spiritual world is through prophetic means. In other words what the Bible teaches us through fullfillment of these prophecies shows us the truth. Let's take some prophetic journeys through history and at the same time learn about the world around us today. Please try and be patient with any typographical errors as I am my own typist and my own research staff. Thanks

The Sermon on the Mount

Mat 5:1  And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

The Beatitudes

Mat 5:2-12 KJV  And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,  (3)  Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  (4)  Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.  (5)  Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.  (6)  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.  (7)  Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.  (8)  Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.  (9)  Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.  (10)  Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  (11)  Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.  (12)  Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Salt and Light

Mat 5:13-16 KJV  Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.  (14)  Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  (15)  Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.  (16)  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Christ Came to Fulfill the Law

Mat 5:17-20 KJV  Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.  (18)  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.  (19)  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.  (20)  For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Anger

Mat 5:21-26 KJV  Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:  (22)  But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.  (23)  Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;  (24)  Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.  (25)  Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.  (26)  Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.

Lust

Mat 5:27-30 KJV  Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:  (28)  But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.  (29)  And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.  (30)  And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Divorce

Mat 5:31-32 KJV  It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:  (32)  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Oaths

Mat 5:33-37 KJV  Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:  (34)  But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:  (35)  Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.  (36)  Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.  (37)  But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Retaliation

Mat 5:38-42 KJV  Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:  (39)  But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.  (40)  And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.  (41)  And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.  (42)  Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

Love Your Enemies

Mat 5:43-48 KJV  Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.  (44)  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;  (45)  That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.  (46)  For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?  (47)  And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?  (48)  Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Sermon on the Mount by Carl Bloch

A few of our favorites from above concerning where we are and where we are going.

Mat 5:11-12 KJV  Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.  (12)  Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Mat 5:16 KJV  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Mat 5:17-18 KJV  Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.  (18)  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Mat 5:35 KJV  Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.

Solomon Blesses the People

2Ch 6:1-11 KJV  Then said Solomon, The LORD hath said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.  (2)  But I have built an house of habitation for thee, and a place for thy dwelling for ever.  (3)  And the king turned his face, and blessed the whole congregation of Israel: and all the congregation of Israel stood.  (4)  And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who hath with his hands fulfilled that which he spake with his mouth to my father David, saying,  (5)  Since the day that I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt I chose no city among all the tribes of Israel to build an house in, that my name might be there; neither chose I any man to be a ruler over my people Israel:  (6)  But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.  (7)  Now it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.  (8)  But the LORD said to David my father, Forasmuch as it was in thine heart to build an house for my name, thou didst well in that it was in thine heart:  (9)  Notwithstanding thou shalt not build the house; but thy son which shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house for my name.  (10)  The LORD therefore hath performed his word that he hath spoken: for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and am set on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.  (11)  And in it have I put the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, that he made with the children of Israel.

2Ch 6:5-6 KJV  Since the day that I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt I chose no city among all the tribes of Israel to build an house in, that my name might be there; neither chose I any man to be a ruler over my people Israel:  (6)  But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.

Zion, the City of Our God

Psa 48:1-14 KJV  A Song and Psalm for the sons of Korah. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.  (2)  Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.  (3)  God is known in her palaces for a refuge.  (4)  For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.  (5)  They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.  (6)  Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.  (7)  Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.  (8)  As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah.  (9)  We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.  (10)  According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.  (11)  Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.  (12)  Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.  (13)  Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.  (14)  For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

Some people have taught there is much prophetic relationship between Psalm 48 and the restoration of Israel 14 may 1948. We have and will in the future no doubt be exploring the amazing prophetic content in the Psalms. Also we will go ahead yet again and include the word study which differentiates Jerusalem and the use of the word Zion. We stress that the emphasis being Zion is intended to be a capital city to the Lord the Father of the Son Jesus. AMEN!!

The Lord Has Chosen Zion

Psa 132:1-18 KJV  A Song of degrees. LORD, remember David, and all his afflictions:  (2)  How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;  (3)  Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;  (4)  I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,  (5)  Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.  (6)  Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.  (7)  We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.  (8)  Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.  (9)  Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.  (10)  For thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.  (11)  The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.  (12)  If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.  (13)  For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.  (14)  This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.  (15)  I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.  (16)  I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.  (17)  There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.  (18)  His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.

David's Charge to Israel

1Ch 28:1-8 KJV  And David assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes, and the captains of the companies that ministered to the king by course, and the captains over the thousands, and captains over the hundreds, and the stewards over all the substance and possession of the king, and of his sons, with the officers, and with the mighty men, and with all the valiant men, unto Jerusalem.  (2)  Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building:  (3)  But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build an house for my name, because thou hast been a man of war, and hast shed blood.  (4)  Howbeit the LORD God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel for ever: for he hath chosen Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he liked me to make me king over all Israel:  (5)  And of all my sons, (for the LORD hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.  (6)  And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.  (7)  Moreover I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be constant to do my commandments and my judgments, as at this day.  (8)  Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the LORD, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek for all the commandments of the LORD your God: that ye may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance for your children after you for ever.

In our last journey we began looking into scriptures intended to prove a point about the world right now. That point being that Pope Francis and various other world leaders need to read the Bible before they open their mouths about God’s chosen city Jerusalem. The Pope chose to call for the status quo concerning Jerusalem.

As we mentioned in our last journey there have been only 3 people chosen to rule from Jerusalem spiritually. Those 3 being God The Real Holy Father, Jesus the real and divine Son of God and the antichrist. We have to ask if the Pope wants the status quo which of these 3 does he want to rule? Folks please again before you get mad at me have your scriptures ready because ours are. Again we are talking scriptures not hearsay. The following comes from the fox news website.

Pope Francis: Keep 'status quo' in Jerusalem to avoid conflict

Pope Francis spoke in support of the “status quo” in Jerusalem on Wednesday, calling for “wisdom and prudence” in order to avoid conflict.
The Roman Catholic leader's comments came after President Donald Trump announced plans for the U.S. to support the relocation of the Israeli capital to Jerusalem -- and for the U.S. Embassy to be relocated there as well.
The pope said he was “profoundly concerned” about recent developments regarding Jerusalem, which he called a “special vocation for peace” and a sacred place for Christians, Jews and Muslims.
He appealed to all sides to respect “the status quo of the city” as according to the United Nations resolutions.
“I pray to the Lord that its identity is preserved and strengthened for the benefit of the Holy Land, the Middle East and the whole world and that wisdom and prudence prevail to prevent new elements of tension from being added to a global context already convulsed by so many cruel conflicts,” the pope added.
Francis expressed his views about Jerusalem during a meeting with a Palestinian delegation of religious and intellectual leaders and at a weekly Wednesday audience. The Vatican said the meeting with Palestinians was pre-arranged and happened to coincide with Trump’s announcement the same day.
At the meeting, the pope said dialogue between all parties would come only through "recognizing the rights of all people," noting that the Holy Land was the "land par excellence of dialogue between God and mankind."
The primary condition of that dialogue is reciprocal respect and a commitment to strengthening that respect, for the sake of recognizing the rights of all people, wherever they happen to be.”
The calls against Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel continues to grow across the Islamic world. In addition to multiple countries’ officials coming out against the move, two leading Lebanese newspapers issued scathing editorials against the U.S.
The English-language Daily Star newspaper’s front page features a  full-page photo of Old City of Jerusalem with a headline reading: “No offense Mr. President, Jerusalem is the capital of PALESTINE."
Here at the ministry we try our best to give you scripture concerning these matters. The Pope's response quite simply is ignorant. Again we mention that the Pope masquerades as a "holy father". The word comes from the only true religious leader Jesus. His Father being the real Holy Father. Oh by the way ignorant world. Sorry JESUS IS LORD.AMEN!! Jerusalem belongs to Him and the Father alone. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who goes on to become who? Israel.
Mat 23:9-13 KJV  And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.  (10)  Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.  (11)  But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.  (12)  And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.  (13)  But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
We are not trying to pick fights friends but the NT scriptures that support what we are doing (for those who live in a NT world only) tell the same story.
Jerusalem appears in 141 verses for a total of 144 times in the NT. Would you say that in this fact alone there is something to be said about the last days and Jerusalem? Well we do not think or guess so we know so. If the truth could come out folks all the leaders who voted against Jerusalem being recognized for exactly what is, was and shall be Israel’s capital knows some of this as well. They are trying to shift the world’s attention away from the scriptural facts that we are going to be exploring on the next we will say couple of journeys maybe.

Gen 32:24-30 KJV  And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.  (25)  And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.  (26)  And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.  (27)  And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.  (28)  And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.  (29)  And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.  (30)  And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.
Of the matches found in Matthew the word is spoken by Jesus 4 times throughout Matthew’s gospel. All of these verses spoken by Jesus are prophetic. One of the last passages we checked out in our opening was concerning oaths in Matthew 5.
Mat 5:35 KJV  Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
This cannot be fulfilled until the end of the age. The city of the great king is actually prophecy regarding Jesus’ rule and reign as King. Amen!!

Jesus Foretells His Death a Third Time
Mat 20:17-19 KJV  And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them,  (18)  Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,  (19)  And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.

Lament over Jerusalem
Mat 23:37-39 KJV  O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!  (38)  Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.  (39)  For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus all takes place in Jerusalem. This is the only significant event we have verifiable documented secular and scriptural evidence of. You see Jerusalem can be the capital for the whole of the world and mankind if you want it and seek it. The only way is Jesus. This is where many seem to find a disconnect.
Mat 27:24-26 KJV  When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.  (25)  Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.  (26)  Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.
Psa 22:6-8 KJV  But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.  (7)  All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,  (8)  He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
Jesus Is Mocked
Mat 27:27-31 KJV  Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers.  (28)  And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.  (29)  And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!  (30)  And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.  (31)  And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.
The Crucifixion
Mat 27:32-44 KJV  And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.  (33)  And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,  (34)  They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.  (35)  And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.  (36)  And sitting down they watched him there;  (37)  And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.  (38)  Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left.  (39)  And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,  (40)  And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.  (41)  Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said,  (42)  He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.  (43)  He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.  (44)  The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.
Psa 22:13-18 KJV  They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.  (14)  I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.  (15)  My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.  (16)  For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.  (17)  I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.  (18)  They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
The Death of Jesus

Mat 27:45-56 KJV  Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.  (46)  And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?  (47)  Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.  (48)  And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.  (49)  The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.  (50)  Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.  (51)  And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;  (52)  And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,  (53)  And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.  (54)  Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.  (55)  And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him:  (56)  Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's children.
Why Have You Forsaken Me?
Psa 22:1-11 KJV  To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?  (2)  O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.  (3)  But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.  (4)  Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.  (5)  They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.  (6)  But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.  (7)  All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,  (8)  He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.  (9)  But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.  (10)  I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.  (11)  Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

Jesus Is Buried
Mat 27:57-61 KJV  When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:  (58)  He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.  (59)  And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,  (60)  And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.  (61)  And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.

All of the history of our Lord and Savior’s death, burial and resurrection in where? Jerusalem. Also if you have followed our rapture and “acharon” journeys we know and understand Jesus is going to do what? Come back in like manner that He left us.
The Promise of the Holy Spirit
Act 1:1-5 KJV  The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,  (2)  Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:  (3)  To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:  (4)  And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.  (5)  For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

The Ascension
Act 1:6-11 KJV  When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?  (7)  And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.  (8)  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.  (9)  And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.  (10)  And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;  (11)  Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Rev 3:19-22 KJV  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.  (20)  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.  (21)  To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.  (22)  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
