Welcome to the World of Biblical Prophecy for History and Today

This Blog is intended to help myself and others gain the best understanding of the world around us through exploration of prophetic scripture. The Bible is the text book. Through these studies we will hopefully provide understanding to both believer and unbeliever alike. The way our God and our Savior Jesus distinguish themselves in the spiritual world is through prophetic means. In other words what the Bible teaches us through fullfillment of these prophecies shows us the truth. Let's take some prophetic journeys through history and at the same time learn about the world around us today. Please try and be patient with any typographical errors as I am my own typist and my own research staff. Thanks

The Role Reversals of the Nations Part 2

The Role Reversals of the Nations Part 2: The Fig Tree
Matthew 12:30-33

30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. 31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. 33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

Leviticus 26:1-7
1 Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God. 2 Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD. 3 If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; 4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. 5 And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely. 6 And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land. 7 And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.

In our 1st part of this journey through scripture we touched a little on the fact that the punishments for disobedience to God included the possession of the land and being scattered or exiled from it. Here in these 2 passages we see these points stressed as well. We have both a natural and spiritual symbolization involved with these aspects. In Matthew 12:30 above Jesus describes those people that are following a life of sin and probably corrupting others as responsible for scattering. This concept really is not anything new in scripture at this stage. The nation of Israel without a doubt has been the most persecuted nation throughout history. In the fact of this is fulfillment of God's word. God chose this nation and the land where He placed them. The nation being His ambassadors to the world. God set statutes and commands over the nation to be followed. God also set forth very intense punishments for disobeying His commands. The following passage from Deuteronomy 4 conveys everything above.

Deuteronomy 4:1-9
1 Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you. 2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. 3 Your eyes have seen what the LORD did because of Baal–peor: for all the men that followed Baal–peor, the LORD thy God hath destroyed them from among you. 4 But ye that did cleave unto the LORD your God are alive every one of you this day. 5 Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. 6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. 7 For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for? 8 And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day? 9 Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;

Have you ever heard the idea or possibly encountered debate over the subject that God is through with the nation of Israel? As funny as it may seem because nowhere in scripture does it say that God is through with the nation of Israel some how or another this sentiment and possibly teaching exists. We will not be debating this issue but simply calling it what it is wrong and false teaching. As we mentioned briefly in part 1 almost every prophecy regarding the destruction of Israel contains redemption with God and the nation in its land. Some people question what symbolizations mean in the Bible. The parable in question is the parable of the fig tree. This may be old news for some but possibly for those who have fallen to the contamination of false ideology and teaching we can clear things up a bit.
First let's start with the parable found in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21.

Matthew 24:32-36
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Mark 13:28-33
28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: 29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors. 30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. 31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. 32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. 33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

Luke 21:29-34

29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; 30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. 31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. 32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. 33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. 34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

Notice how we find the parable in 3 out of 4 of the Gospels. More importantly these are all chapters and passages involving the signs of the end of the age. In other words events that will take place at some point not too long from the return of the Lord. We began this part of our study with a passage from Matthew 12 with Jesus addressing the fruits of our labors or works with God. Jesus is pretty clear about these matters describing the outcomes of these labors as good or corrupt.
Let's start our prophetic journey back into the OT and see what the fig tree represents. We will not be looking into every scripture pertaining to the symbolization of the fig tree and the nation of Israel, but we will cover plenty to convey what is being put forth.

Perhaps we should start in the very early stages of biblical history in the book of Genesis. In what most refer to as the fall of man in the garden of Eden. The fig tree became the source of clothing for Adam and Eve. Perhaps there is an association from this point on in the scripture with what takes place in the future prophetic scriptures of the Bible.

Genesis 3:7-12
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Deuteronomy 6:6-11 A passage describing the fig tree as a product of the promised land
6 Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him. 7 For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills; 8 A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;

Jeremiah 24:
1 The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon. 2 One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad. 3 Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.4 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 5 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good. 6 For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up. 7 And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart. 8 And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt: 9 And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them. 10 And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.

The Lord in verses 5-7 clearly identifies His intentions of symbolization regarding good ripened figs and also representative to the people of Judah carried away captive to Babylon. An exact fulfillment of promises we looked at in part 1. A scattering and destruction of the nation to be held in a foreign nation of foreign gods and then the return at an unspecified point in time in this prophecy. Some may think this applies to the return from Babylon. However the prophecy states that the remnant shall not be removed from the land again indicating this is talking about the end time restoration of the nation mentioned in part 1 fulfilled on May 14, 1948. Now some will probably take what was just said and say "see the Bible contradicts itself". Please keep in mind those that are scattered throughout the earth to be reproach and proverb. They are described as the evil figs to face chastisements wherever they dispurse to throughout the earth. Check out the verses from Deuteronomy 28:36-37 below:

36 The LORD shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone. 37 And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee.

Now let's look at one more fitting piece of this prophecy being fulfilled. This is a word study on the word used here for proverb. It will prove interesting as it relates to the history of the Jewish people.

37 And thou shalt become an astonishment <08047>, a proverb <04912>, and a byword <08148>, among all nations <05971> whither the LORD <03068> shall lead <05090> thee.

08047:
8047 shammah sham-maw' from 8074; ruin; by implication, consternation:--astonishment, desolate(-ion), waste, wonderful thing. see HEBREW for 08074

08074:
8074 shamem shaw-mame' a primitive root; to stun (or intransitively, grow numb), i.e. devastate or (figuratively) stupefy (both usually in a passive sense):--make amazed, be astonied, (be an) astonish(-ment), (be, bring into, unto, lay, lie, make) desolate(-ion, places), be destitute, destroy (self), (lay, lie, make) waste, wonder.

04912:
4912 mashal maw-shawl' apparently from 4910 in some original sense of superiority in mental action; properly, a pithy maxim, usually of metaphorical nature; hence, a simile (as an adage, poem, discourse):--byword, like, parable, proverb. see HEBREW for 04910

04910:
4910 mashal maw-shal' a primitive root; to rule:--(have, make to have) dominion, governor, X indeed, reign, (bear, cause to, have) rule(-ing, -r), have power.

08148:
8148 shniynah shen-ee-naw' from 8150; something pointed, i.e. a gibe:--byword, taunt. see HEBREW for 08150

08150:
8150 shanan shaw-nan' a primitive root; to point (transitive or intransitive); intensively, to pierce; figuratively, to inculcate:--prick, sharp(-en), teach diligently, whet.

After looking at these word studies carefully does the term antisemitism come to mind. Please keep in mind this portion of the prophecy only applies to those who willingly seek to avoid captivity. There were priests and leaders of Israel who took the words of a false prophet named Hananiah. Some people fled to Egypt and other nations some tried to remain in the land. They were the ones who are targeted by the punishment of the prophecy. We will in the course of this study in the reversals of power among the nations return to this passage and look at it in more detail.

Jeremiah 26:1-7
1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word from the LORD, saying, 2 Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD'S house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD'S house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word: 3 If so be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings. 4 And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you, 5 To hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I sent unto you, both rising up early, and sending them, but ye have not hearkened; 6 Then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth. 7 So the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD.
Jeremiah's message was not well received by all who heard.

Jeremiah 26:8-18
8 Now it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die. 9 Why hast thou prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate without an inhabitant? And all the people were gathered against Jeremiah in the house of the LORD. 10 When the princes of Judah heard these things, then they came up from the king's house unto the house of the LORD, and sat down in the entry of the new gate of the LORD'S house. 11 Then spake the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man is worthy to die; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears. 12 Then spake Jeremiah unto all the princes and to all the people, saying, The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that ye have heard. 13 Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you. 14 As for me, behold, I am in your hand: do with me as seemeth good and meet unto you. 15 But know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death, ye shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears. 16 Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets; This man is not worthy to die: for he hath spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God. 17 Then rose up certain of the elders of the land, and spake to all the assembly of the people, saying, 18 Micah the Morasthite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and spake to all the people of Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Zion shall be plowed like a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.

As we can see Jeremiah did not have many friends after he made God's announcement. The priesthood Jeremiah dealt with was not much different from what Jesus encountered. The very people that should have known what was coming in recognition of the times refused to accept the situation.

Jeremiah 27:1-7

1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, 2 Thus saith the LORD to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck, 3 And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah; 4 And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters; 5 I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me. 6 And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him. 7 And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him

This was an announcement to all the enemies of Israel and their respective nations they would also fall to Babylon. They were experiencing their own dilemmas with their so called seers and prophets that this would not happen to them. Some how all this seems all to familiar for ministers of prophecy in today's world. After all as we have mentioned before here on the sight what has to be in the top list of verses for those who study prophecy:

Ecclesiastes 1:9-10
9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. 10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

Jeremiah 27:9-14
9 Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: 10 For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish. 11 But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith the LORD; and they shall till it, and dwell therein. 12 I spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live. 13 Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the LORD hath spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon? 14 Therefore hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.

Jeremiah provides us with one example of a false prophet that opposed him during this time. The so called prophet Hananiah.

Jeremiah 28:1-5
1 And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of the LORD, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying, 2 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. 3 Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of the LORD'S house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon: 4 And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the LORD: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.

Jeremiah 28:14-17

14 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also. 15 Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie. 16 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD. 17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.

As with most lying prophets Hananiah soon dies.

Jeremiah 29:1-10
1 Now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the residue of the elders which were carried away captives, and to the priests, and to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon; 2 (After that Jeconiah the king, and the queen, and the eunuchs, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, and the carpenters, and the smiths, were departed from Jerusalem;) 3 By the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan, and Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent unto Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon) saying, 4 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon; 5 Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them; 6 Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished. 7 And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace. 8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. 9 For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD. 10 For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.

The Lord proclaims to the captives they should concentrate on rebuilding the nation during their captivity. After all the Lord sees the people He sends into captivity as the good fruit or sweet figs.

Jeremiah 24:4-6

4 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 5 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good. 6 For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.

Jeremiah 29:11-14

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. 14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

Jeremiah 29:15-19

15 Because ye have said, The LORD hath raised us up prophets in Babylon; 16 Know that thus saith the LORD of the king that sitteth upon the throne of David, and of all the people that dwelleth in this city, and of your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity; 17 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil. 18 And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them: 19 Because they have not hearkened to my words, saith the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but ye would not hear, saith the LORD.

This is the rotten figs or those of the nation of Israel bearing bad fruit. Notice they are convicted of ignoring God's prophets. This is parallel to the fact that Jesus received the same type of treatment from pretty much the same class of individuals the priests and politicians. God uses the fig or the fruit of the fig tree to represent the differing peoples in the fall of Jerusalem. It could be said that the tree would be representative to the nation itself. This is why the representation is so important. The people chosen by God to bring forth the new nation of Israel from Babylonian captivity are the bearers of good fruit. Jeremiah was not the only prophet to foresee these events but he was the prophet who was living in the times of fulfillment. Micah, Isaiah, Daniel and Ezekiel just to mention a few who either saw the events through the Spirit of God or in the case of Daniel and Ezekiel were living in the times.

We still have some ground to cover concerning the spiritual realm of the fig tree. Please hang in there as we study these prophecies into the world we know today.
Thanks and God Bless

The Role Reversals of the Nations Part 1

Luke 10:21-22

21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. 22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

Mark 11: 12-14

12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry: 13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. 14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

Matthew 24:32-35

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

The words of Jesus spoken concerning the fate of Israel as a beacon for prophetic fulfillment in the signs of the end of the age in Matthew 24. Please take note that Jesus stresses His delight in the fact that the educated establishment normally associated with the knowledge of scripture are blinded to His message and fulfillment of prophecy. Jesus was dealing with a priesthood society corrupted by power and yet at the same time afraid of losing that power. After all even king Herod tried his best to commit genocide upon a whole generation of Jewish males out of fear of having to relinquish his power. The symbolization of the fig tree and its demise. It was this ignorance and hatred of the word of God that fueled God's judgment upon His chosen nation Israel. However as we back track into history we will realize that the words of Jesus concerning the fate of Israel are yet another example of God's signature trademark prophetic truth.
Let's begin our journey into the fates of nations.

Leviticus 26 is a chapter dealing with the punishments of Israel for disobedience to God. It has a sister passage if you will in Deuteronomy 28.

Leviticus 26:27-36

27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me; 28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins. your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat. 30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you. 31 And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours. 32 And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it. 33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste. 34 Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths. 35 As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it. 36 And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.

Revelation 17:9-14

9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. 10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. 11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. 12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. 14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Without getting too much into the grand scheme of things at this point this prophecy is most certainly soon to reach its final fulfillment. The book of Revelation describes 8 global kingdoms that arise through biblical history. There is some debate regarding what these empires are. We'll touch this briefly as it is for another day to take this in depth. The Egyptian captivity is over as the Israelites are in the Exodus at this point. This is traditionally accepted as empire number 1. The others the Bible mentions are Assyria,Babylon,Medes and Persians,Greece and Rome. This is basically the point if you count the Egyptian captivity we are awaiting empire number 7 which some people think is the United Nations.

Deuteronomy 4:23-36

23 Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee. 24 For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God. 25 When thou shalt beget children, and children's children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger: 26 I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed. 27 And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you. 28 And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. 29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. 30 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; 31 (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them. 32 For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it? 33 Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live? 34 Or hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes? 35 Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him. 36 Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee: and upon earth he shewed thee his great fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire.

This passage includes both a warning and a prophecy from God concerning what He expects of the nation of Israel in addition to the punishment which comes with the disobedience of these expectations. The punishment of non-existence as a nation for failure to follow these statutes. In the context of what we will be exploring with this study of scripture it is important to note the prophetic outcomes involving the loss of the land and being scattered among the nations of the earth. This is in description of the jealous nature of God. Even for generations beyond this first group of Israelites chosen for the Exodus God maintains warning and punishment. There is a lesson in this thought alone as it pertains to the progress of mankind and the nature of God which we can explore later. As with most prophetic warnings God allows a way to redemption. In this case it is found within verses 29-31. God promises that with a remnant of believers He will show kindness toward His chosen people. In verse 34 God describes the many tools He used to bring the people out of their captivity in Egypt. The tools serve as one of the mirrors to today's world we have discussed in a couple of other postings. As a matter of fact it probably would serve those interested in the realm of prophetic scripture to remember. The passages of Ecclesiastes 1:9-11 and 3:14-16. The next and final topic with regard to this passage involves a word study in verse 30. This as well as all of our word studies will use the Strong's Bible Concordance.

30 When thou art in tribulation <06862>, and all these things <01697> are come <04672> upon thee, even in the latter <0319> days <03117>, if thou turn <07725> to the LORD <03068> thy God <0430>, and shalt be obedient <08085> unto his voice <06963>;

Please take notice of the word latter. This has some special significance to the prophecy. Below is the definition:
00319:
319 'achariyth akh-ar-eeth' from 310; the last or end, hence, the future; also posterity:--(last, latter) end (time), hinder (utter) -most, length, posterity, remnant, residue, reward. see HEBREW for 0310

Let's dive a little deeper and look at the root word:
00310:
310 'achar akh-ar' from 309; properly, the hind part; generally used as an adverb or conjunction, after (in various senses):--after (that, -ward), again, at, away from, back (from, -side), behind, beside, by, follow (after, -ing), forasmuch, from, hereafter, hinder end, + out (over) live, + persecute, posterity, pursuing, remnant, seeing, since, thence(-forth), when, with. see HEBREW for 0309

One more look at the wording:
00309:
309 'achar aw-khar' a primitive root; to loiter (i.e. be behind); by implication to procrastinate:--continue, defer, delay, hinder, be late (slack), stay (there), tarry (longer).

The Hebrew language is very detailed in its meanings or implications of words. This word 'achariyth (akh-ar-eeth) implies a superlative quality to the 2 root words given which imply procrastination and posterity and gives it a meaning indicative of a time in the distant prophetic future which some including myself apply to the restoration of the nation of Israel on may 14,1948. This most certainly took place after a scattering of the nation although not the only one at the hands of the Roman empire in 70AD. This is another one of those subjects we will explore in depth at another time, but none the less a fulfillment of prophecy. Some consider this fulfillment to be the beginning of the countdown to the return of the Lord Jesus. Amen

In Deuteronomy chapter 28:1-14 God describes the utopian world Israel would live in for their obedience.
In Deuteronomy 28:15-68 God provides a very detailed list of punishments for disobedience.

Deuteronomy 30:1-15

1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee, 2 And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; 3 That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. 4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: 5 And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. 6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. 7 And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee. 8 And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day. 9 And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers: 10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul. 11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. 12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? 13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? 14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. 15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; 16 In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. 17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; 18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. 19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: 20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

A very important prophecy is stated in verse 7. Notice what the Lord says about those nations which persecute Israel. The misfortunes that met Israel throughout biblical history would be turned upon their enemies. This is a verse for reflections of today concerning the world. This prophetic verse has certainly been found to be true. God also specifies a time of restoration of the land the promised land. He describes how the nation would flourish and it certainly has. Imagine America as one super large vast desert and trying to turn it into what we know as our nation today. This is exactly how Israel developed into the nation she has become. This is something that could not be accomplished unless God was directing the way and keeping His promises associated to this prophecy.

This is just the beginning of what will be another set of journeys through the scriptures in regard to the rise of the nation of Israel and what this signals to the rest of the nations. In the next segment we will go through scriptures and discover what the parable of the fig tree is. Many people try to use this type of symbolization against us as believers. It will probably ring quite clear that there is no doubt we are dealing with the nation of Israel. Hopefully it will also convey the message so many people mock and that being the restoration of Israel as being an instrument in the countdown to the Lord's return.

On a closing note take the passage of Deuteronomy 30:18-20. Actually 2 times the Lord proclaims the options of choice. Choose life and that life is this:

John 14:1-7

1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Illegal Immigration and The Bible Part 5

Revelation 22:6-21

6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. 7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. 8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. 10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. 16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly.Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

According to FBI's Uniform Crime Reports (UCR), Crime in the United States (CIUS) 2005, for the Estimated Number of Arrests and applying a straight 5% illegal alien participation component we now get:

CRIMES (actual arrests) Number In USA by illegal aliens
Total 14,094,186 704,709
Murder & non-negligent manslaughter 14,062 703
Forcible rape 25,528 1,276
Offenses against family & children 129,128 6,456

The last column is the estimated criminal collateral damage being inflicted by illegal aliens for 2005 as a straight proportional percentage basis of the population. Similar collateral damage would have been inflicted in 2006 and you can expect about as much in 2007.

Using a simple cost-benefit analysis, is this much crime acceptable to save ten cents on a head of lettuce?

This is just a small look at the violent crime situation regarding illegal aliens. We will look at some other categories in the next segment as we begin to close this study out.
Just another reminder that cannot grow old enough. If you are going to listen to speaker Pelosi's calls to preach about immigration from the pulpit then you better get it right.

Traffic Fatalities Attributed to Illegal Immigrants

Min Soon Chang, a freshman from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, was killed by drunk driving illegal alien Jorge Humberto Hernandez-Soto, who hit him while going 100 MPH the wrong way on the highway. Hernadez-Sot had been previously deported to his native Mexico 17 times. That is not a typo.

Cheryl Ceran, 47, and two of her children, 15-year-old Ian and 7-year-old Julianna were killed on Christmas Eve by drunk driving illegal alien Carlos Rodolfo Prieto, 24, who ran a red light and slammed into their car. Also injured in the crash were Cheryl Ceran's husband, Gary Ceran, 45, their daughter, Clarissa, 19, and a son, Caleb, 12. Prieto had at least two other drunken driving arrests and did not have a license.

Kelly Bergen, 25, a teacher, was crushed between two potato trucks, an accident caused by an illegal alien driving without a license or insurance.
Deputy Loren Lilly, an 18 year veteran of the Cobb County, GA, police department was killed Christmas Eve morning on his way to work when an illegal alien swerved into his lane. The driver, Joel Camacho Perea, faces charges of hit and run, failure to maintain lane and driving without a license.

Marine Corporal Brian Mathews, 21, and his girlfriend Jennifer Bower, 24, were killed by a drunk illegal alien Eduardo Raul Morales-Soriano who slammed into their car when it was stopped at a traffic light. Corporal Mathews was on leave, after just returning from duty in Iraq. Morales-Soriano had a blood-alcohol level that was four times the legal limit.

20 year old Natalie Housand was killed when illegal alien Jesus Garcia Lopez hit her car while going 100 MPH, driving drunk. Amazingly, after the head-on collision, Lopez fled the scene.

Donna and Sean Wilson of Juliet Tennessee, were killed by illegal alien Gustavo Reyes Garcia who had been, arrested 14 times in the previous five years prior to when he ran into and killed them, again driving while intoxicated. Garcia had previously been arrested 5 times on DUIs.

Tricia Ann Taylor, 17, lost both her legs above the knees when she was pinned against a wall by a drunken illegal alien with seventeen prior violations who hit her while drag racing.

Ryan Ostendorf, a 28 year old paramedic, who was also a Kansas University student and who dreamed of becoming a doctor, was killed by illegal alien Victor Anzua-Torresa who had ignored an order to receive treatment after his previous drunken-driving conviction. Anzua-Torresa had also been previously deported in 2000 and been arrested for several other offenses, including possession of drug paraphernalia.

5-year-old Felix Leon was killed in a hit and run accident by illegal alien Carlos Jaramillo.

James F. Rogers Jr., 18, of North Jackson, TN was killed by Luis Oscar Garcia, a Mexican who had been living in the U.S. without a green card for three years. Garcia ran a red light. In addition to the vehicular homicide and DUI charges, Garcia faces counts of driving without a license, registration or proof of insurance. When police did a check on his license plate, it did not come back under his name.

Joshua Morrow, 4, and his uncle, Ronald Bishop were killed by an illegal alien who left the scene of the accident.

Christopher Shackleford, 19, Julieanne Pascoe, 18, and Kelli Bourgeois, 18, were all killed in Marietta, Georgia, by an illegal alien drunk driver. He did not have a valid driver's license or insurance but did have a blood alcohol level at twice the legal limit.

Brandon Haley, 31, was killed while riding his bicycle in a hit and run by illegal alien Lazardo Lobaton.

Some other things you probably didn't know:

Cities that receive the largest numbers of immigrants also have twice the unemployment rate, 40% more people living in poverty, and 40% more serious crime per capita than cities with few or no immigrant arrivals. (1)

Some 11.2 million immigrants arrived in the USA between 1990 and 2000. This, added to the 6.4 million children born to immigrants living in the USA, accounts for almost 70% of the US population growth in the past decade. (3)

Immigrants now represent more than one in every tenUS residents, the highest percentage in 70 years. (4)
Over the next 50 years, the US Census Bureau projects that immigration will cause the population of the United States to increase from its present 270 million to more than 400 million. (9)

Nationwide, 33% of Third World immigrants who settled in the USA since 1990, live in poverty, nearly three times the rate for US-born natives. Some 36% of immigrants failed to finish high school, more than double the percentage for US-born nationals. (12)
About 15% of US citizens fall below the poverty line, compared to 29% of non-citizens. About 11% of non-citizens have incomes less than 50% of the poverty line, compared to 6% of citizens. (13)

The number of impoverished people in the USA's immigrant-headed households nearly tripled from 2.7 million in 1979 to 7.7 million in 1997. (14) During that same period, the number of poor households headed by immigrants increased by 123% while the number of immigrant households increased by 68%. (15)

According to Forbes Magazine, a greater proportion of the US population is currently living in poverty than what was the case three decades ago. (16) According to Forbes Magazine, Significantly, Hispanics accounted for a statistical 0% of the nation's poor in 1959. (17)

Hispanics first entered the tables in 1972, making up 1.1% of the USA's poor in that year. By 1996, Hispanics made up 2.7% of the nation's poor - almost equivalent to the Black figure. (18)

Forbes Magazine identified the leap in Hispanic poverty rates as being dueto their numbers being "fed by immigration." (19)

According to the US Census Bureau, Current Population Survey, March 2001, some 22.1% of Blacks were below the official poverty line. This compares with 21.2% of Hispanics; 10.8% of Asians and Pacific Islanders; and 7.5% of White non-Hispanics. (20)

According to the Puerto Rican/Hispanic Institute for the Elderly in New York, about 23.8% of elderly Hispanics in the United States live in poverty, with no prospects of improvement in their situation. (21)

In 1997, 25% of all children in California were living below the poverty line. (24)

The number of children living in poverty in California had increased by more than 3% from 1990 to 1997. (25)

In the Appalachia, Mississippi Delta, Black Hills, and Los Angeles areas, more than 30% of Hispanics are below the poverty line. (28)

According to a survey by the University of California at San Francisco and the Field Institute, Latinos are 13 times more likely to be part of the working poor -- defined in the survey as a family off our earning less than $20,000. (29)

Denver's five poorest neighborhoods are populated mostly by Hispanics that only speak Spanish, particularly in the northern part of the city. (31) In these neighborhoods, 80% of the children receive food coupons, and are responsible for 37% of the city's crime rate. (32)

The number of people in poverty living in immigrant households in Arizona has nearly tripled to 330,000 from 113,000 during the 1990s. During that same time, immigrant households rose to 41%, from 20% of the total of poverty-level households. (35)

In 1996, according to the Immigration and Naturalization Service, 1.2 million newcomers joined the US population - yet fewer than 5% were admitted because of their job skills. (36) Most of the rest were allowed in because they were relatives of US citizens or other immigrants or were refugees, and a quarter of the total were illegal immigrants. (37)
During the 1990s, more than 1.3 million people with less than a high school education entered the USA. (38) Ofthose who arrived in this decade, 34.4% were school dropouts. (39)

In 1998, nearly 40% of immigrants had less than a high school education - double the share for natives, according to the 1990 census figures. The gap widens when grade school education is considered. Some 23% of immigrants have less than nine years of education, compared with just 4% of Americans. (40)

Only 8% of California Latinos have a bachelor's degree or higher, compared with 43% of Asians, 33% of whites and 24% of African Americans, according to the California Research Bureau. (42)

Latinos in California have the highest high school dropout rate (45%), lowest college graduation rate (8%) and, not surprisingly, the lowest median income ($14,560). (45)

The Latino education gap in California is not new. Previous studies showthe same was true as far back as the 1940s. (46)

The high school dropout rate in most Latin American countries exceeds 50%. (48)

Mexico, for example, has an illiteracy rate in excess of 10%, and Guatemala has an illiteracy rate of over 40%. (49)

Median household income in the New York areas of

Median household income in the New York areas of Queens, Brooklyn, Suffolk, Fairfield, favored by immigrants, dropped between 1989 and 1998. This was also the case in many other countiesacross the nation that experienced a large influx of immigrants, according to census data. (50)

The data show that in Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx - counties with a major increase of immigrants - median income fell sharply. (51) In Queens, according to the data, the median household income fell from $44,938 in 1989, to $36,480 in 1998, a drop of nearly 19%, while in Brooklyn it fell by 18%, from $33,762 to $27,556. (52)

Median income also fell in many counties in other states attractive to immigrants, including Los Angeles County and Miami-Dade County. (53) In Los Angeles County, where there has been a surge of immigrants from Mexico, median income fell in constant dollars from $45,962 in 1989 to $37,655 in 1998, a decline of 18%. (54)

EVERY 100 MANUAL LABOR IMMIGRANT JOBS CREATE 139 EXTRA POVERTY CASES

A study of 65 rural communities in California's San Joaquin Valley between 1980 and 1990, found that the addition of 100 farm jobs resulted in an additional 139 people - including immigrants, their families and area residents - living in poverty. (59) This statistic is driven by the low wages paid to the farm worker, who inturn is then unable to support dependents, creating the social welfare problem.

A Rand study looked at the nine million net new jobs created in California from 1960 to 1990. It found that three-fourths of the new jobs were filled by workers with at least some college education, and almost all of the rest were filled by high school graduates. (62)

Furthermore, the share filled by workers with some college education has risen over the years, the Rand study found. By the 1980s, some 96% of net new jobs were filled by such workers. (63)

According to a survey by the University of California at San Francisco and the Field Institute, Latinos are much less likely to benefit from the state's explosion in job growth because they are less likely to finish high school or attend college. (64)

According to the survey, 56% of the state's Latinos had an education level of high school or lower, compared to 28% of blacks, 14% of whites, and 11% of Asians. (65)

THIRD WORLD IMMIGRANT CRIMINALS FILL UP 25% OF FEDERAL PRISONS

Criminal immigrants account for more than 25% of all inmates in federal prisons and is the fastest growing segment of the prison population. (66)

The federal prison population of non-citizens has increased by about 15% per year from the mid-1980s to the present. Upkeep for each prisoner costs the taxpayers $21,300 per year. (67)

Some 80% of cocaine and 50% of heroin in the US is smuggled across the border by Mexican nationals. (68) Taxpayers pay half-a-billion dollars per year incarcerating illegal alien criminals. (69)

In 1994, the state of Florida sued the federal government, seeking reimbursement for the $884 million a year the state spends on services to illegal aliens. Florida spent $27.6 million in 1993 to arrest, try and jail illegal immigrants charged with crimes in that state alone. (70)

In addition, state and local authorities were spending more than $500 million a year to arrest and imprison illegal immigrants who committed serious crimes. (71) New YorkState estimated these added costs at $270 million, while Illinois estimated that it spends $40 million per year for incarceration alone. (72)

The demand for falsified documents in southern and coastal states has created a thriving underworld industry in counterfeiting, thievery, and forgery. For as little as $40 per person, illegal aliens can purchase documents that provide them with entitlement to health care, welfare, and work privileges. (73)

According to an April 1997 report from the Associated Press, more than 180,000 aliens were granted US citizenship in 1996 without the mandatory criminal background checks. (74)

An Associated Press report in February 1997, said the Citizenship USA project, pushed by the White House in 1996 to expedite admission of 1.3 million aliens, allowed as many as 130,000 criminals into the USA from Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean. (75)

THIRD WORLD IMMIGRANT UNEMPLOYMENT

According to the Urban Institute, the highest rates of welfare dependency are in the agricultural counties of California, where unemployment rates are also high. In the heart of California's San Joaquin Valley, for example, 29% of the residents of Fresno (761,000 population), 30% of Merced (199,000) and 25% of Tulare (362,000) county residents were on public assistance in 1996. At the same time, unemployment rates were in double digits, even in the peak spring and summer months. (77)

If it were a state -- and with 3 million residents, its population rivals Oregon's -- the Valley would have the nation's worst economy. Unemployment averages out at 12.4% for the entire region, nearly twice as high as West Virginia's. (78)

In South Central Los Angeles - another high-density immigrant center - the unemployment rate hovers around 20% (four times the state average) and the poverty rate is 40%. This figure has risen consistently over the last ten years. (82)

THIRD WORLD IMMIGRATION'S EFFECT ON THE USA LABOR MARKET

An estimated 1,880,000 American workers are displaced from their jobs every year by immigration; the cost for providing welfare and assistance to these Americans is over $15 billion a year. (83)

It is estimated that between 40 and 50% of wage-loss among low-skilled Americans is due to the immigration of low-skilled workers. (84)

THIRD WORLD IMMIGRANT WELFARE USAGE

The proportion of immigrant households using welfare programs is estimated by the Center for Immigration Studies to be between 30% to 50% higher than that of US-born citizens. (85)

According to the ‘Immigrants and Welfare, Research Perspectives on Migration' report released by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace -- International Migration Policy Project, immigrant use of welfare has been rising, regardless of how "immigrant" and "welfare" are defined. (86)

Immigrants in California are three times more likely to receive welfare than native-born residents, a dramatic difference that is not seen in other states with burgeoning immigrant populations, according to a report by the US General Accounting Office. (87)

Forty-six% of California's children live in families with incomes low enough to qualify for subsidized school meals ($29,000 or less annually for a family of four). Child-care costs, averaging $407 monthly for a preschooler, amount to one-half the earnings of a full-time, minimum-wage worker. (88)

Over 60% of Hispanic households in the Alexandria, Virginia area, receive assistance from federal or state programs for low-income residents. Forty-four% of Hispanic families get subsidized school lunches for their children. (89)

Bearing in mind that about 37% of immigrants in Phoenix, Arizona, and 36% statewide fall below the poverty level, (90) the news that the number of people living below the federal poverty level in that state, soared nearly 90% since 1989, should come as no surprise. The state population grew about 30% in that time. (91)

HEALTHCARE BURDEN

Immigrants who arrived in the US after 1989 and their US-born children account for 60% or 5.5 million of the increase in the size of the uninsured medical health population. (92)

The low health insurance rate means that these Third World immigrants show up at the emergency rooms of America's hospitals because they cannot afford medical care.

Dozens of hospitals in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California, have been forced to close or face bankruptcy because of federally-mandated programs requiring free emergency room services to illegal aliens. (93)

In a recent year in Colorado, the state's emergency Medicaid program paid an estimated $30 million in hospital and physician delivery costs for about 6,000 illegal immigrant mothers - an average of $5,000 per baby. Those 6,000 births to illegal aliens represent 40% of the births paid for by Medicaid in Colorado. Those 6,000 babies immediately became US citizens and qualified for full Medicaid services, with a cost yet to be tabulated. (94)

In addition to general welfare, the GAO -- the investigative arm of Congress -- has documented similar differences in the use of Medicaid, the nation's health insurance program for the needy. In California, for instance, the number of citizens naturalized in fiscal years 1996 and 1997 receiving Medi-Cal (California's Medicaid program) was 23.7%, compared with 8.2% for native-born citizens. (95)

THE FINANCIAL BURDEN OF THIRD WORLD IMMIGRATION

The net annual cost of immigration has been estimated at between $67 and $87 billion a year. The National Academy of Sciences found that the net fiscal drain on American taxpayers is between $166 and $226 a year per native household. Even studies claiming some modest overall gain for the economy from immigration ($1 to $10 billion a year) have found that it is outweighed by the fiscal cost ($15 to $20 billion a year) to native taxpayers. (96)

The net deficit is caused by a low level of tax payments by immigrants, because they are disproportionately low-skilled and thus earn low wages, and a higher rate of consumption of government services, both because of their relative poverty and their higher fertility. (97)

The federal government currently provides targeted services to migrant and seasonal farm workers and their dependents that cost about $600 million per year, equivalent to ten% of these workers annual earnings. (98)

According to the ‘Immigrants and Welfare, Research Perspectives on Migration' report released by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace -- International Migration Policy Project, approximately 1.4 million immigrants receive AFDC or SSI payments totaling $4.5 billion annually. (99)

Their average monthly AFDC payment is $133; their average SSI payment is $407. Estimates using a more broadly defined package of benefits and counting benefits from state and local as well as federal sources indicate that immigrants receive approximately $25 billion annually in assistance benefits. (100)

IMMIGRATION'S IMPACT AND COST ON PUBLIC SCHOOLS

The USA's public schools are already overcrowded with six million more children in schools today than in the late 1980s. (101) In 2002, school attendance rose from the 1997 level of 50 million students in primary and secondary education to more than 55 million - directly as a result of immigration. (102)

The Urban Institute estimates that the cost of educating illegal alien children in the nation's seven states with the highest concentration of illegal aliens was $3.1 billion in 1993 (which, with the growth of their population to 1.3 million, was more than $5 billion in 2000). This estimate does not take into account the additional costs of bilingual education or other special educational needs. (104)

The Carrying Capacity Network, a non-profit group that studies growth and environmental issues, estimated in 1994 that legal and illegal immigrants have cost Florida $3.3 billion since 1970. (105)

In California, the already mentioned cause and effect of a one-person increase in farm employment creating a 0.67-person increase in welfare use, means an additional annual welfare cost of $954 per farm job. (106)
Since farm workers in California in 1990 earned an average $7,320, each farm job was associated with a welfare payment equivalent to approximately 13% of average farm earnings. (107)

The costs of illegal immigration in terms of government expenditures for education, criminal justice, and emergency medical care are significant. California has estimated that the net cost to the state of providing government services to illegal immigrants approached $3 billion during a single fiscal year. (108)

Stretched to the limit by these burdensome costs, the state of California sued the federal government in 1993 for $10.5 billion to recover the costs of education, health care, policing, and other administrative services for legal and illegal immigration. (109)

ASIAN IMMIGRATION MYTHS It is often thought that Asian immigration to the USA does not fall into these damning statistical breakdowns. While it is true that Asian immigrants to the USA fare on average better than immigrants from other parts of the Third World, it is a myth that all is well with the Asian immigrant community.
According to the March 2001 US Census Bureau, Current Population Survey, some 10.8% of Asians and Pacific Islanders were below the official poverty line. (110)

In 1993, a study that showed that despite a ‘model minority' stereotypical image of being self-sufficient, 55% of elderly Chinese immigrants in California received public assistance, mostlySupplemental Security Income. (111)

Among elderly Vietnamese immigrants, the figure was 74%, compared with 21% of Mexican immigrants and nine% of the native-born elderly. (112)

Arrest rates for American Asians are higher than Whites for gambling, gangsterism and youth homicide. Asians make up half of all gang arrests in Seattle, and their gang rate relative to population increased to nearly even with Blacks in the city by 1994. A 1992 Los Angeles study showed that Asians are 13 times more likely than Whites to be members of gangs. (113)

Nationally, Asian poverty is slightly worse than the White average. Asian poverty rates in some urban areas are equal to, or worse, than blacks. Asian poverty in many census tracts ranges in the ghetto definition range, from 40% up to 70%. Asian per capita income is often comparable or worse than Blacks in urban areas. In San Francisco, Asian poverty rates are equal to those of Blacks for the equivalent family structure. (114)

CONCLUSION - A THREAT TO THE FABRIC OF AMERICAN SOCIETY

It is thus clear that Third World immigration to the USA brings none of the supposed benefits that the pro-immigration lobby suggests. The truth is that Third World immigrants do not bring skills, prosperity, stability, or economic growth.

On the contrary: they bring with them serious social problems that are then borne by native-born Americans, both financially and socially.

Third World immigration threatens the very fabric of society, and unless halted, will see the final dissolution of the American Republic.

PSALM 7.

Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto the LORD, concerning the words of Cush the Benjamite.
1 O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me: 2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver. 3 O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands; 4 If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:) 5 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah. 6 Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded. 7 So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high. 8 The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me. 9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. 10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. 11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. 12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready. 13 He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors. 14 Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood. 15 He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made. 16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate. 17 I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.

Exodus 23:3
1 Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. 2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment: 3 Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause. 4

Leviticus 19:15

15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour

Luke 18:1-6

1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Keeping these words of Jesus in our hearts and souls and minds think about some of the poor decisions we witnessed in the preceding facts. How many lives would have been spared had there been no sanctuary for these violent and wreckless offenders. The liberal argument that has been put forth is that it could have just as easily been a legal citizen who committed these offenses. That kind of thinking is a suggestion. What we just explored are facts. It's true we have many of the same situations with legal citizenry and that is bad enough. Please believe me I have no problem with that fact, but should we not be able as a nation to deal righteously with these individuals instead of criminals who have no legal right to even be in our nation to flood the streets with no way of keeping them out. I know of no nation on earth that would have the tolerance for our citizens committing all these crimes in their country in some cases repeatedly.

Please forgive me for stating this fact one last time. If you are going to listen to speaker Pelosi's request to preach about liberal immigration reforms then do it by scripture and get it right. As for speaker Pelosi sometimes we should know what the word says before we interject too many of our own weaknesses more commonly referred to as ideologies into the equation.

This will for now conclude our prophetic journeys into the realm of illegal immigration and scripture. However one last recent quote from speaker Pelosi as food for thought.
On May 6, 2010, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi addressed the Catholic Community Conference on Capitol Hill with these words:

"They ask me all the time, 'What is your favorite this? What is your favorite that? What is your favorite that?' And one time, 'What is your favorite word?' And I said, 'My favorite word? That is really easy. My favorite word is the Word, is the Word. And that is everything. It says it all for us. And you know the biblical reference; you know the Gospel reference of the Word."

"And that Word," Pelosi said, "is, we have to give voice to what that means in terms of public policy that would be in keeping with the values of the Word. The Word. Isn't it a beautiful word when you think of it? It just covers everything. The Word.

"Fill it in with anything you want. But, of course, we know it means: 'The Word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us.' And that's the great mystery of our faith. He will come again. He will come again. So, we have to make sure we're prepared to answer in this life, or otherwise, as to how we have measured up."

Illegal Immigration and The Bible Part 4

Psalm 119:169-176
TAU. The last letter of the Hebrew alphabet symbolized by a cross

169 Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word. 170 Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word. 171 My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes. 172 My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness. 173 Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts. 174 I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight. 175 Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me. 176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.

We left off in part 3 looking at the subject of sanctuary cities. We explored both what God intended these for and the modern cities here in America that claim such status. We will also in this segment of illegal immigration and the Bible see what an atrocity these cities have become and how far away we've managed to stray from God's intended meaning of these cities.

Matthew 5:17-19

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Leviticus 18:26

26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you: 27

Deuteronomy 27:19

19 Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.

A verse which we will discover through our facts below has a 2 way mirror

Deuteronomy 28:14-68 A passage pertaining to the curses for disobedience to the Lord. Just a few verses
Deuteronomy 28:14-19

14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them. 15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: 16 Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field. 17 Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store. 18 Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. 19 Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

Deuteronomy 28:41-46

41 Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity. 42 All thy trees and fruit of thy land shall the locust consume. 43 The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low. 44 He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail. 45 Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee: 46 And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.

Keeping these passages close to our mind let's take a look at a few things concerning illegal immigrants and sanctuary cities.

Controversial incidents

In March 2008, Jamiel Shaw Jr., a high school athlete, was murdered in Los Angeles by Pedro Espinoza, an illegal immigrant gang member from MS 13, as he was walking home. It is believed that Espinoza mistook Shaw Jr. for a rival gang member. Espinoza's legal status was not checked even though he had been arrested for assault and was released a day before the murder according to Police Chief Officer William Bratton.[14] As a result of Jamiel Shaw Jr.'s death, a new ordinance is being proposed by family members that would allow police in the area to arrest suspected illegal immigrant gang members.[15] In May 2009, members of the Shaw family filed a lawsuit against the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.[16]

It just so happens that this case was decided
KTLA News
3:50 PM PDT, May 27, 2010
LOS ANGELES -- A Los Angeles judge has thrown out a lawsuit filed by the parents of a high school football star who had sued the sheriff's department for releasing from jail an illegal immigrant suspected of killing their son.

Shaw, a Los Angeles High School football player, was shot and killed in March 2008, allegedly by Pedro Espinoza, an alleged gang member who was in the country illegally

According to the lawsuit brought by his parents Jamiel and Anita, deputies negligently released Espinoza from jail on March 1, 2008, despite knowing he was "a dangerous felon and an immigration violator."
But Superior Court Judge Charles Palmer found Wednesday the law doesn't support the lawsuit.

In July 2008, a criminal gang member from MS 13 and illegal immigrant Edwin Ramos allegedly murdered Anthony Bologna and his two sons, Michael and Matthew, in broad daylight during a traffic altercation in San Francisco. Ramos was convicted of two felonies (including a gang-related assault of a young man aboard a bus and the attempted robbery of a pregnant woman) at the age of 17 years but was not reported to federal immigration authorities due to San Francisco's sanctuary city policy.[17][18] The city rejected any claims of liability and family members of the victims have filed a lawsuit as a result.[19]

In July 2008, a young woman was robbed and violently injured in San Francisco's wealthy Pacific Heights neighborhood by an illegal immigrant named Alexander Izaguirre. Before the incident, Izaguirre had pleaded guilty to selling cocaine in the city's Tenderloin neighborhood and was involved in previous purse-snatching crimes, but avoided jail due to his enrollment in a program called Back on Track, which is run by District Attorney Kamala Harris and provided training for jobs that Izaguirre could not legally hold.[20]

On July 31, 2008, 14-year-old Ivan Miranda was murdered and nearly decapitated in a sword attack in San Francisco's Excelsior neighborhood. Authorities arrested Rony Aguilera, known as "Guerrillero," in the attack and believe Aguilera is an illegal immigrant from Honduras. Aguilera had been arrested in 2007 in an assault case, but was never reported to federal immigration officials due to San Francisco's sanctuary policy.[21]

In October 2008, a drunken driver illegal immigrant, Salvador Vivas-Diaz, crashed his car against the police car of Phoenix, Arizona policeman Shane Figueroa which later resulted in Figueroa's death. Vivas-Diaz had four arrest warrants, a suspended driver’s license, had been charged with forgery and failure to return to court but he was never reported to federal immigration authorities due to Phoenix's former sanctuary city policy.[22]

On February 3, 2009 Francis Hernandez, an illegal immigrant, plowed into a Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop in Denver, Colorado leaving three people dead and two injured. Hernandez had been arrested numerous times before but was never reported to federal immigration authorities due to Denver's sanctuary city policy.[19]
After the murder of a restaurant waitress in Albuquerque, New Mexico in late June 2009 suspected to be perpetrated by three illegal immigrants (one of whom was not deported despite being arrested for two prior DUI incidents), mayoral candidate Richard Berry decried the city's sanctuary city policy. He also vowed, if elected, to repeal the policy that has been continued by the incumbent mayor Martin Chavez.[24]

March 29, 2010 Robert Krentz, 58, a well-known southern Arizona rancher was found shot to death, along with his dog, shortly before midnight Saturday on his ranch, located 35 miles northeast of Douglas, KPHO said. According to media reports, he was reportedly murdered shortly after a confrontation with illegal immigrants. Krentz, was reportedly inducted into the Arizona Farming and Ranching Hall of Fame one year ago. He has served as president of the Cochise-Graham Cattlegrowers Association. This murder points to the need for stricter border patrols and an overhaul of the current immigration system. We can't sit and watch the drug wars in Mexico, coupled with the illegals sneaking across our borders. We have to act now and with force that this will not be tolerated.

6 April 2006
Illegal Alien Killer of Mary Nagle Found Guilty on All Counts
On Wednesday, while the Senate was debating about which way to destroy the country, another tragedy due to Washington irresponsibility was being played out in a New York state courtroom, as one more murder by an illegal alien was tried.
The crime was brutally clear. It took jurors only 2 1/2 hours to find illegal alien Douglas Herrera guilty on all 15 counts of raping and murdering suburban mom Mary Nagle in her home. (See earlier Vdare account with photo here and local obituary.) Herrera had been hired to power-wash the deck of the Nagle home, but instead took the opportunity to attack and kill his employer.
There were tears in the eyes of some jurors, too, when medical examiner Lone Thanning provided them with a clinical but grisly account of the victim’s injuries. Nagle _ the mother of a 9-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy _ fought with her killer for at least 15 minutes, Thanning testified, and perhaps for as long as 30 minutes.
The killer inflicted “among the most horrific injuries I’ve ever seen,” Thanning said. The jurors passed a tissue box, while some members of the panel simply turned away from the crime scene photos. [Accused killer: I don't remember anything about that day, Newsday, 4/4/06]
After the rape and murder, Herrera used Mary Nagle’s cell phone to call her friends and family, including her sister, making lewd comments as he bragged about the crime.
The killer overstayed a 2001 tourist visa from Guatemala and possessed a California driver’s license. He reportedly will be sentenced in May to life in prison without parole.

Arrest Made In Deadly Attack On Two Nuns
By Molly Shen
Story Published: Sep 2, 2002 at 8:08 AM PDT
Story Updated: Aug 31, 2006 at 12:47 AM PDT

KLAMATH FALLS - Police call it a heinous, sickening crime.
Two Bellevue nuns were raped and beaten in Oregon over the weekend. One of them died.
The Klamath County Sheriff's office has arrested a transient who just rode into town last week by train. Maximilano Esparza is charged with aggravated murder, attempted murder, rape and kidnapping.
The District Attorney says the Esparza was drunk when he beat the women into submission so he could sexually assault them.
Investigators say Chaska and another nun were on a bike path just after midnight Sunday, reciting the Rosary, when they were approached by Esparza.
We reached Chaska's brother in North Dakota. He told us she would've seen it as an opportunity to help.
"I'm sure that's the first thing she thought of when she was approached," says James Chaska. "Here's somebody she could help. It's kinda what made her decide to be a nun. She saw so much injustice in the world and she decided being a nun would be the best way to help."
Chaska lived in Bellevue. Neighbors describe her and the second nun as having a strong faith, more conservative than mainstream Catholics.
They say others in the home seem to be students of the nuns who reach out to the neighborhood.
"There's a lot of children that live on this street," says Sirena Young. "If there's cars coming they swoop them out of the way. Help out neighbors by bringing them food or clothing."
Investigators say the women were in Klamath Falls doing missionary work.
Locals tell us they were in town for just a day, selling religious items outside a grocery store.
"We went to Albertsons and then we saw them out there and we asked them how long they'd be staying and they said they'd be going to Medford today and tomorrow they were going back to Washington," says a girl who met the nuns.
Instead, their Bellevue home is quiet, with friends saying they are mourning the loss of a dearly beloved sister - in peace.

Terry and Lisa Dilks of Urbandale, Iowa, who were murdered by two illegal aliens. Both perpetrators had previously been arrested on drug charges and turned over and subsequently released by federal immigration agents.

The 10 killed and 4 wounded victims of illegal alien Muslim fanatic and sniper John Lee Malvo.

Kimberley Hope who was killed while feeding her neighbor's dogs by illegal alien Daniel Gonzalez Berumen who simply wanted her car.

Vinessa Hoera was a young single mom, only 23, when she was kidnapped, raped and brutally murdered by an illegal alien from Guatemala.

Tracy Owen, a 23 year old, very pregnant woman of Nashville, who was murdered because a couple of drunk, illegal aliens thought they had struck her in a car-pedestrian traffic accident. In fact, they had not but shot her five times believing they had.

Norfolk Police Officer Sheila Herring who was shot by illegal alien Mario Roberto Keen as she responded to a disturbance at a sports bar. Keen had previously been sentenced to five years in prison in 1990 for selling cocaine and had been previously deported. Keen attempted to re-enter the United States in New York in 1997, but was reportedly barred from entering. Obviously, he found another way.

Officer Tony Zeppetella, 27, of the Oceanside, CA, police department, was murdered by illegal alien gang member Adrien George Camacho when he stopped him for a traffic violation. Camacho pulled out a gun and shot the officer. Camacho then pistol-whipped the injured officer before shooting him again, killing him with the officer's own gun. At the time, Camacho had a criminal history that includes five previous felony convictions had been previously deported several times

Fort Worth Officer Dwayne Freeto was killed by drunken driver while helping a stranded motorist. The speeding car struck Freeto's parked cruiser, causing it to burst into flames burning Officer Freeto to death.

Police Officer Brandon Winfield, a 12-year veteran on the Houston police force with five children who was killed by illegal alien Juan Leonardo Qunitero who had been previously deported for molesting a 12-year-old girl. Officer Winfield thought he was assisting a disabled motorist when he was murdered in cold blood.

For more cops killed by illegal aliens go to Officer Down News – although you will have to do some digging to establish the residency of the perpetrator.
And those are just a few of the Americans who recently died at the hands of illegal aliens.
