Mat 2:1-9 KJV Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, (2) Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. We have been exploring the Bible for things associated with the east and we are continuing to now. We have been exploring and will ultimately conclude with the direction of the east and the return of Jesus our Savior to rule and reign as King. Our last get together brought us into the prophecies of Ezekiel. Ironically in our opening passage we have some very important things taking place involving wise men and the direction of the east. The east having a lot to do with the first coming of Jesus which automatically has something to with the second. The reason for putting it this way of course there could be no second coming without the first. As we mentioned in our last section the word east appears 55 times in 50 verses of the book of Ezekiel. We will post the results of a search among the “major” prophets.

We were looking into chapter 8 and how the religious influences of the east were infiltrating the temple itself.

The results of this type of abomination throughout our history on earth brought us to the point of a theory not facts that we descended from our animal cousins. The theory of course is evolution. It’s a dumb theory at that. However it certainly gives foolish mankind a false sense of escape from being bound by the Lord. Religions such as those oddly enough connected to the east such as Hinduism and so forth place our very existence as being below the importance of the animal kingdom or earth itself in may cases. The more we hear the lie about climate change the more we become earth worshippers.

Is there anything about this definition that leads to the conclusion we are to worship or treat the animal kingdom or the earth as being above us? No certainly not however in the same breath we can also say that God would not want us to blatantly mistreat and destroy animals or the earth. In the same breath we must remember God Himself performed the first animal sacrifice.

 

Gen 3:21-24 KJV Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them. Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose. (18) Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.

 

Of course in this we have the worship of the sun the moon and the stars. The basics for the belief in astrology. The belief that celestial objects and their locations influence our daily lives or hold our future. Let’s be sure we stress there is a big difference between biblical or astronomy in general and astrology. The reason we use the terms biblical or creation astronomy is because of course with every other aspect of creation Satan has perverted it for many folks unfortunately. Some of us sometimes are saved from it however many are not.

All God was looking for were the folks that were actually paying attention to the abominations taking place. In other words people who were still fighting the spiritual good fight. Another most interesting fact is that there are a total of 7 men that come with weapons in hand out of the north. There is also the ink well. Could it possibly be that the 7 are representing some form of the prophets? After all the written word for now is what belief is based upon.

The same type of quality He was looking for in Abraham. Just 1 individual willing to do for God what many others did in abomination and idolatry. Kill their own children. Something we do here today and at least in America that still is not enough. Of course the recent discoveries of what really goes on with the unborn child and their organs. Those of us today fighting the good fight see our liberal leadership defending planned parenthood’s atrocities. Luk 13:22-30 KJV And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. (23) Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, (24) Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. (25) When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: (26) Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. (27) But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. (28) There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. (29) And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. (30) And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.
