Welcome to the World of Biblical Prophecy for History and Today

This Blog is intended to help myself and others gain the best understanding of the world around us through exploration of prophetic scripture. The Bible is the text book. Through these studies we will hopefully provide understanding to both believer and unbeliever alike. The way our God and our Savior Jesus distinguish themselves in the spiritual world is through prophetic means. In other words what the Bible teaches us through fullfillment of these prophecies shows us the truth. Let's take some prophetic journeys through history and at the same time learn about the world around us today. Please try and be patient with any typographical errors as I am my own typist and my own research staff. Thanks

The Curses for Disobedience 5 Deuteronomy 28:15-19

The Curses for Disobedience 5
Deuteronomy 28:15-19
Why Things Are Happening
Mass Shootings

Your Word Is a Lamp to My Feet

Psa 119:169-176 KJV  TAU. Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word.  (170)  Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.  (171)  My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.  (172)  My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.  (173)  Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.  (174)  I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.  (175)  Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.  (176)  I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.

Ecc 1:9-11 KJV  The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.  (10)  Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.  (11)  There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.

Ecc 3:14-15 KJV  I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.  (15)  That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

Ecc 3:16-17 KJV  And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.  (17)  I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

Messengers from John the Baptist

Mat 11:1-6 KJV  And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities.  (2)  Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,  (3)  And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?  (4)  Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:  (5)  The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.  (6)  And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Mat 11:7-11 KJV  And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?  (8)  But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses.  (9)  But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.  (10)  For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.  (11)  Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

In case you are not aware we saw this word in our exploration of the rapture to the point we are. We may not get back there depending on ABBA Father and Lord Yeshua/Jesus’ plans. It means to seize by force. In the aspect of the rapture it simply states ABBA Father and Lord Yeshua gather us together by force.

The Coming of the Lord

1Th 4:13-18 KJV  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.  (14)  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.  (15)  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  (16)  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  (17)  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught upG726togetherG260with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  (18)  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

G260
ἅμα
hama
ham'-ah
A primary particle; properly at the “same” time, but freely used as a preposition or adverb denoting close association: - also, and, together, with (-al).
Total KJV occurrences: 9

In the context we are exploring today it means that the kingdom has been under violent attacks. Just as we know our adversary Satan is accusing us night and day.

The violence Lord Yeshua/Jesus references may be in regard to the vigilantes that thought the kingdom meant kicking butt. This was a widespread misconception of Lord Yeshua/Jesus. Many thought the Messiah should be a militant type ruler along the likes of David for example.

We also know that the kingdom itself is under attack from the outside and the inside. It will be this way until the return of Lord Yeshua/Jesus.

The Temptation of Jesus

Mat 4:1-11 KJV  Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.  (2)  And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.  (3)  And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.  (4)  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.  (5)  Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,  (6)  And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.  (7)  Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.  (8)  Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;  (9)  And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.  (10)  Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.  (11)  Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

When the fall took place in the garden a very important transition happened. That transition being we handed the kingdom over to the enemy Satan. There are some folks out there that disagree with the notion Satan ever had control. Well here it is in stone. What was the last thing Lord Yeshua/Jesus was tempted with? The kingdoms of this world were in the hand of the enemy. The devil had to own these kingdoms to offer them to our Savior.

OK so here is the problem for us. We are still rejecting ABBA Father and Lord Yeshua/Jesus as we speak. We explored in our last couple of journeys how both Moses and Lord Yeshua/Jesus commanded obedience from the people to ABBA Father.

Moses Commands Obedience

Deu 4:1-8 KJV  Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you.  (2)  Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.  (3)  Your eyes have seen what the LORD did because of Baalpeor: for all the men that followed Baalpeor, the LORD thy God hath destroyed them from among you.  (4)  But ye that did cleave unto the LORD your God are alive every one of you this day.  (5)  Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.  (6)  Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.  (7)  For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?  (8)  And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

Deu 4:9-14 KJV  Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;  (10)  Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.  (11)  And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.  (12)  And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice.  (13)  And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.  (14)  And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.

I Am the True Vine

Joh 15:1-7 KJV  I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.  (2)  Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.  (3)  Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.  (4)  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.  (5)  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.  (6)  If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.  (7)  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Joh 15:8-17 KJV  Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.  (9)  As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.  (10)  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.  (11)  These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.  (12)  This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.  (13)  Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.  (14)  Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.  (15)  Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.  (16)  Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.  (17)  These things I command you, that ye love one another.

The Lord Is in His Holy Temple

Psa 11:1-7 KJV  To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?  (2)  For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.  (3)  If the foundationsH8356be destroyed, what can the righteous do?  (4)  The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.  (5)  The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.  (6)  Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.  (7)  For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

H8356
שָׁתָה
shâthâh
shaw-thaw'
From H7896; a basis, that is, (figuratively) political or moral support: - foundation, purpose.
Total KJV occurrences: 2

We would suggest in this case that both the political and moral foundations are referenced here. Remember Israel was to govern based upon ABBA Father’s commands.

Our foundations are just about completely broken friends. When we see over and over the blatant smash and grab attacks taking place we should understand it is a sign of the times. Our entire legal system is based around the 10 commandments. As we have mentioned from time to time if we all obeyed the 10 commandments the world would not have any issues.

We have been exploring things that go wrong when we reject ABBA Father and Lord Yeshua/Jesus. Many people are no doubt asking what does this all have to do with us today? A basic answer might be to say that both Moses and Lord Yeshua/Jesus commanded obedience. That is what these things have to do with us today. We closed out a look into the numbers of school shootings in the U.S. alone since 2000. There have been 272 from the year 2000 until now. Again all you need do if you are able is look up the specifics on wikipedia.

In this journey we are going to look at some numbers regarding the numbers of mass shootings. We are not sure but we believe we got the following chart from wikipedia also. It is a summary of mass shootings.

In all 176 shooting events

We explored some things about school shootings in our last couple of journeys. We explored how kicking ABBA Father and Lord Yeshua/Jesus out of school allowed some things into school. We have not only been kicking them out of school but also in many other facets of society. One of the big things we have seen come about is this push to stop prayer in the name of Lord Yeshua/Jesus in our public meetings. For example say school board meetings, town hall meetings and so forth.

It’s not enough to say that prayer is being banned when in many cases it is stated as in the name of Lord Yeshua/Jesus. It’ starting to become apparent that when we get some cracks in our armor as a nation or individuals Satan moves in. Some of these attacks were on municipal meetings and town hall type of events.

We use a certain verse from a certain Psalm from time to time when it pertains to our nation in general.

Psa 33:12 KJV  Blessed is the nationH1471whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

H1471
גֹּי    גּוֹי
gôy    gôy
go'ee, go'-ee
Apparently from the same root as H1465 (in the sense of massing); a foreign nation; hence a Gentile; also (figuratively) a troop of animals, or a flight of locusts: - Gentile, heathen, nation, people.
Total KJV occurrences: 559

A lot of times some point out that this was a verse concerning Israel. With all the reference to Gentile nations here we see that any and all nations may be applied to those who accept ABBA Father’s laws and commands. Better yet those who accept the salvation of His Son Lord Yeshua/Jesus. So as a nation when we rejected ABBA Father and Lord Yeshua/Jesus’ authority we did a lot more to ourselves than we could imagine.

Lev 26:21-22 KJV  And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.  (22)  I will also send wild beastsH2416among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.

We explored this word a little in our last get together.

H2416
חַי
chay
khah'ee
From H2421; alive; hence raw (flesh); fresh (plant, water, year), strong; also (as noun, especially in the feminine singular and masculine plural) life (or living thing), whether literally or figuratively: -    + age, alive, appetite, (wild) beast, company, congregation, life (-time), live (-ly), living (creature, thing), maintenance, + merry, multitude, + (be) old, quick, raw, running, springing, troop.
Total KJV occurrences: 502

As we referenced before this can easily enough apply to people as well. Kind of strange huh? Do we have wild vicious people taking our children and others away from us?. Again it seems as though all these words are walking hand in hand.

ABBA Father did send wild beasts in the form of empires as we referenced last get together. The empires of biblical prophecy are described as such especially but not limited to the book of Daniel.

Daniel's Vision of the Four Beasts

Dan 7:1-8 KJV  In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.  (2)  Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.  (3)  And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.  (4)  The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.  (5)  And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.  (6)  After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.  (7)  After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.  (8)  I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

We can see that beasts are used to describe the ultimate arrival of the antichrist. We are not here to develop all that today. We do want to point out that the battle is being fought from the top down so to speak. So now we see the national or international effects on  people. In addition to the shootings we have been looking a bit into today. These bring the chaos down to a personal level.

The only way to describe the people committing these shootings is possessed as if a wild beast. This is not to take away from ABBA Father’s ability to use the natural beasts of the field to correct us as He sees fit. We will just put things like this until we can get around to studying serial killers. Have you ever noticed if you observe an interview with people like Edmund Kemper, David Berkowitz and Jeffrey Dahmer they say they were possessed when they were committing their atrocities. As a society we should probably take their word for it. However the media that cover individuals like this very rarely if ever point to that fact.

Just like in the school shootings at Columbine which were done by 2 racist kids on Hitler’s birthday to share their excitement in the moment. Also those 2 perpetrators were very strong believers in evolution just like Hitler.

How Precious Is Your Steadfast Love

Psa 36:1-4 KJV  To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD. The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.  (2)  For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.  (3)  The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.  (4)  He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

Psa 36:5-12 KJV  Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.  (6)  Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.  (7)  How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.  (8)  They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.  (9)  For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.  (10)  O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.  (11)  Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.  (12)  There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.

We have pointed out before How Stalin, Hitler and Mao collectively can be accounted to over 100 million lives. Here is Hitler shaking hands with a bishop in the church.

The experiences of mass shootings bring it down to a very personal level. Right  now as we are exploring this on the news there is a surge in armed children committing crimes.

The Day of the Wrath of the Lord

Eze 7:1-11 KJV  Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,  (2)  Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.  (3)  Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.  (4)  And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.  (5)  Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.  (6)  An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.  (7)  The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.  (8)  Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.  (9)  And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth.  (10)  Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.  (11)  Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them.

Eze 7:12-15 KJV  The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.  (13)  For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.  (14)  They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.  (15)  The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.

Eze 7:16-22 KJV  But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.  (17)  All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.  (18)  They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.  (19)  They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.  (20)  As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.  (21)  And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.  (22)  My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.

Eze 7:23-27 KJV  Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.  (24)  Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.  (25)  Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.  (26)  Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.  (27)  The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

We would like to point out a couple of things here. The first being that this passage has much relationship with the end of the age. The reason we say this is because the passage tells us people will be seeking peace and will receive calamities instead. This is a message found in 1st Thessalonians regarding the end of the age.

The Day of the Lord

1Th 5:1-11 KJV  But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.  (2)  For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.  (3)  For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.  (4)  But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.  (5)  Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.  (6)  Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.  (7)  For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.  (8)  But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.  (9)  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,  (10)  Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.  (11)  Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

In other words when every one is screaming peace and safety the bottom is going to drop out. The passage from Ezekiel also made a passage of Paul’s come into play. It concerns silver and gold.

Called to Be Holy

1Pe 1:13-16 KJV  Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;  (14)  As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:  (15)  But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;  (16)  Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

1Pe 1:17-25 KJV  And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:  (18)  Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;  (19)  But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:  (20)  Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,  (21)  Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.  (22)  Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:  (23)  Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.  (24)  For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:  (25)  But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Friends the passage from Ezekiel was warning about gold, silver and idolatry. Peter is warning us all about the exact same thing. In our case we would call it the worship of money. All the commercials we see for silver and gold should be a hint to us as to where things stand in the word of the Lord. Many of these commercials targeting Christians now with a Christian financial plan. Just remember what Peter just told us.

This brings us back to our title passage. The whole reason we are talking about every facet of our society falling apart.

Deu 28:15-19 KJV  But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:  (16)  Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.  (17)  Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store.  (18)  Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.  (19)  Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

Friends when we see all the shootings taking place in every facet of our society these verses above should run through our minds each time. While all the pundits and all the “experts” try to figure out why remember the Bible told us thousands of years ago.

Think about it friends just imagine there have been over 175 mass shootings just since the year 2000. Just imagine 272 school shootings just since the year 2000. This in itself is a shocking sign of the times. It shows no signs of slowing down.

Remember Lord Yeshua/Jesus commanded obedience just as Moses did.

God's Wrath on Unrighteousness

Rom 1:18-23 KJV  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;  (19)  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.  (20)  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  (21)  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  (22)  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,  (23)  And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Future Glory

Rom 8:18-30 KJV  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.  (19)  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.  (20)  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,  (21)  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.  (22)  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.  (23)  And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.  (24)  For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?  (25)  But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.  (26)  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  (27)  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.  (28)  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.  (29)  For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.  (30)  Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Rev 22:12-13 KJV  And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.  (13)  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Mic 7:7 KJV  Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

As always thanks for sharing a word
God Bless
