Empires of Prophecy Movers and Shakers Introduction
Your Word Is a Lamp to My Feet
Psa 119:169-176 KJV TAU. Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word. (170) Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word. (171) My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes. (172) My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness. (173) Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts. (174) I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight. (175) Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me. (176) I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
Ecc 1:9-11 KJV The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. (10) Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us. (11) There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.
Ecc 3:14-15 KJV I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. (15) That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
Ecc 3:16-17 KJV And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there. (17) I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
Rev 19:10 KJV And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Christ Came to Fulfill the Law
Mat 5:17-20 KJV Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. (18) For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. (19) Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (20) For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:17 KJV Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
The Example of Christ
Rom 15:1-7 KJV We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. (2) Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. (3) For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me. (4) For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. (5) Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: (6) That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. (7) Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
Rom 15:4 KJV For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Hello again Friends. We are starting a different kind of undertaking in our journey today. We have been doing this for almost 15 years now in this side of the ministry. We have spent a lot of time over the years talking about empires and prophecy. We have spent a little time detailing similarities and contrasts between certain biblical people and Lord Yeshua Himself. This undertaking will be a combination of those subjects and how we can relate these matters to today and upcoming prophetic events. For example the first empire of biblical prophecy some may disagree was Egypt. Part of the criteria for being a biblical empire is the captivity or exile of the Hebrew people. There was no doubt that the entire population of the Jewish people were in the Egyptian empire. There were no left behinds as with say Babylon for example in the case of folks like Jeremiah.
In scripture there were people that we might describe today as the movers and shakers of their respective empires. These were folks that represented both sides of our spiritual warfare. In other words the good and the evil behavior of folks. We recently took a look at just a very few of our movers and shakers in the end from the beginning study involving the tower of Babel. This will be somewhat a continuation of that look into prophecy. We will be exploring similarities of folks that wanted to rule the world then as well as now. If you have been around a while with us you probably have been in our Daniel Extremity studies. This book outside of Revelation deals the most with these respective empires. If you have been around a while with us you may have read the Zechariah Zone journeys. There is also information from this book of prophecy regarding a smaller number of these empires. All this said let’s start an introduction into empires, movers and shakers.
The Great Prostitute and the Beast
Rev 17:1-7 KJV And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: (2) With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. (3) So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. (4) And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: (5) And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. (6) And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. (7) And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
Rev 17:8 KJV The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
Rev 17:9-11 KJV And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. (10) And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. (11) And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
Rev 17:12-18 KJV And the ten hornsG2768which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. (13) These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. (14) These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. (15) And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. (16) And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. (17) For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. (18) And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
Although we are not there yet with these passages we felt the last look at the kingdoms of this world would be a great place to start. As we referenced earlier Daniel is the prophet that introduced us to the kingdoms of the world. We won’t develop the entire breakdown(again see the Daniel Extremity studies). However we will hit the highlights in respect.
Rev 17:9-11 KJV And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountainsG3735, on which the woman sitteth. (10) And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. (11) And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

There is no doubt in many people’s minds the 7 mountains or hills in this case belong to Rome. We will go ahead a step further and say that not only Rome represented here but the 5 previous empires it swallowed up. We have very strong suspicions about the female entity described as riding the global government and religious system. We feel that her connections to Rome are very strong as well. If you would like a hint check into the studies we have up to this point on apparitions of Mary. There are lots of great teachings on that subject out there.
Rev 17:10-12 KJV And there are seven kingsG935: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. (11) And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. We included the root word here because it will resemble the passages from Daniel we will explore. We are going to leave this for now and turn our attention to the book of Daniel briefly. Hopefully for those not familiar we can generate your interest to read further. He gives us the first glimpse into what we just read. This happens to be during the Babylonian empire. Nebuchadnezzar is king and he is troubled by a nightmare or a bad dream. None of the so called psychics of the day can help him. He has his attention brought to a young Hebrew nobleman captured in Jerusalem named Daniel. We will let the scripture divulge what’s next. We will add that Daniel is given the dream by ABBA Father Himself. This is why the king could not trust his false magicians and enchanters and so forth; they could not divulge the dream.
Dan 2:25-30 KJV Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, and said thus unto him, I have found a man of the captives of Judah, that will make known unto the king the interpretation. (26) The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof? (27) Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king; (28) But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these; (29) As for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter: and he that revealeth secrets maketh known to thee what shall come to pass. (30) But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but for their sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the king, and that thou mightest know the thoughts of thy heart.
Dan 2:31-36 KJV Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. (32) This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, (33) His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. (34) Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. (35) Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. (36) This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king.
Dan 2:37-42 KJV Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. (38) And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold. (39) And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth. (40) And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. (41) And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. (42) And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
Dan 2:43-49 KJV And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. (44) And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. (45) Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. (46) Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him. (47) The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret. (48) Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon. (49) Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel sat in the gate of the king.
Let’s see what we have so far based upon Daniel’s interpretation and how world history happened to play out.
- Head of gold was Babylon
- Chest and arms of silver Media-Persia
- Belly and thighs of brass Alexander the Great and Greece
- 2 legs of iron eastern and western Roman empire
- Toes of iron and clay would be the equivalent of the 7th head and horn of the dragon in Revelation
Dan 7:1-8 KJV In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters. (2) Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea. (3) And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. (4) The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it. (5) And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. (6) After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it. (7) After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. (8) I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first hornsH7162plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this hornH7162were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

Here we have Daniel’s vision of the 10 horns. Daniel may not have had a vision of the 8th and final empire however it appears he may have had a vision of the antichrist. In this case we have a different description of the same empires as before.
Lion= Babylon
Bear with 3 ribs in its mouth Media -Persia which swallowed up Egypt , Assyria and Babylon
Leopard with 4 wings and 4 heads Greece which split into 4 divisions upon Alexander the Great’s death just happens to have swallowed up previous 4 empires as well
The frightening and terrifying beast is the Roman empire and like John tells us in Revelation there are 10 rulers or horns that are part of the beast system. Ten leaders around the world that will give their power over to the antichrist. We will be developing how some of this could easily come about very soon.
We would like to point out a strange connection between Daniel and Revelation here. Remember the word study we did in Revelation 17:12?

We explored how this root word for king in the Greek means to pace or walk as in the use of the foot. Well Daniel gave us this description of his 4th terrifying and frightening beast.
Dan 7:7 KJV After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stampedH7512the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

We have this odd connection of the Hebrew word used here in Daniel and the connection to the word king in Revelation. It’s the exact way all these empires and their rulers did things. They Trampled and trod their enemies beneath them only to be trodden down themselves by ABBA Father’s next choice for the job. As best we can figure from scripture there is at least 1 more empire left. Many feel that the United Nations might be the 7th empire of world history. Many feel that it may have been the Ottoman-Turkish empire. Many feel or felt that it was the European Union or EU. We will not start on that subject at this moment. The Ottoman Turkish controlled Jerusalem for 400 years. We feel this might rule them out possibly.
As we explored Revelation and Daniel above the number 10 horns comes up in each prophet’s writings. Daniel informs us of an 11th little horn that rises up amongst the others. This is symbolic of the 10 nations in Revelation giving up their power to the antichrist.
Rev 17:10-13 KJV And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. (11) And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. (12) And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. (13) These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
Dan 7:7-8 KJV After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. (8) I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
If you are new to all this then these passages can be confusing. In the book of Daniel there are 5 kingdoms seen with the 10 horns he dreams about here are the same 10 toes from the vision of Nebuchadnezzar in chapter 2. The toes of iron and clay forming the 7th empire described in Revelation. Again if you are new to all this you might be asking what about the 7 Kings in Revelation 17:10.
Rev 17:10 KJV And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space,
In the book of Daniel the dreams and visions he has show him visions of the coming kingdoms of the future. Someone like Daniel who was well educated not only in being a nobleman but in scripture knew there were already 2 empires that dealt with his people. The first would have been Egypt. The second was the Assyrians. The Assyrians exiled 10 out of 12 of the tribes of Israel. Then they tried to move their people in to replace them and it did not work out to well.
Alright so let’s look at this list of the empires of biblical and world history. The first captivity of the Hebrew people was foretold in a series of prophetic promises. It was given to Abraham when he made the first covenant with ABBA Father.
The Call of Abram
Gen 12:1-5 KJV Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: (2) And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: (3) And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (4) So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. (5) And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.
Gen 15:1-6 KJV After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. (2) And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? (3) And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. (4) And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. (5) And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. (6) And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
Gen 15:7-15 KJV And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it. (8) And he said, Lord GOD, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it? (9) And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon. (10) And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not. (11) And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away. (12) And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him. (13) And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; (14) And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance. (15) And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.
Gen 15:16-21 KJV But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full. (17) And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces. (18) In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: (19) The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, (20) And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, (21) And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.
Oddly enough we have 10 nations listed here that the Israelites would have to deal with. Actually ABBA Father makes a few promises to Abraham here. If you noticed ABBA Father starts with the promise of a son and the promise of the land. ABBA Father also informs Abraham that the nation he fathers will be captive in a strange land for 400 years. The other part of this promise that follows along with where these studies are going is that the nation holding them captive will be judged. ABBA Father most certainly did judge the nation of Egypt.
Gen 10:6-7 KJV And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan. (7) And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
Maybe ABBA Father used the waters to destroy Pharaoh as a reminder He is the God who sent the flood. The people of Egypt who were grandfathered so to speak by Mizraim a son of Canaan. The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia (ISBE) tells us the following.
Egypt (מצרים, micrayim; ἡ Αἴγυπτος, hē Aı́guptos): Usually supposed to represent the dual of Misrayim, referring to “the two lands,” as the Egyptians called their country. This dualism, however, has been denied by some.
Easton Bible Dictionary
Egypt
The land of the Nile and the pyramids, the oldest kingdom of which we have any record, holds a place of great significance in Scripture.
The Egyptians belonged to the white race, and their original home is still a matter of dispute. Many scholars believe that it was in Southern Arabia, and recent excavations have shown that the valley of the Nile was originally inhabited by a low-class population, perhaps belonging to the Nigritian stock, before the Egyptians of history entered it. The ancient Egyptian language, of which the latest form is Coptic, is distantly connected with the Semitic family of speech.
Egypt consists geographically of two halves, the northern being the Delta, and the southern Upper Egypt, between Cairo and the First Cataract. In the Old Testament, Northern or Lower Egypt is called Mazor, “the fortified land” (Isa_19:6; Isa_37:25, where the A.V. mistranslates “defense” and “besieged places”); while Southern or Upper Egypt is Pathros, the Egyptian Pa-to-Res, or “the land of the south” (Isa_11:11). But the whole country is generally mentioned under the dual name of Mizraim, “the two Mazors.”
Interesting we have that connection dating back to within 1 generation of the flood. The sad part is apparently over history the people that Mizraim fathered quit believing in the God of the flood. This happened with everyone actually by the time we reached the tower of Babel. We will be exploring this empire first. No matter how old we are taught this empire is there were no empires until the decades after the flood.
Abraham was born 292 years after the flood in the biblical year 1948. If that sounds familiar it should. That is the same year on our Gregorian calendar that the nation he fathered being Israel was reborn on 14 May 1948. How much would you like to bet that is the very day Abraham’s birthday was? We do not really know for sure. That is the Holy Spirit at work. Amen!!
As we mentioned earlier the next empire to have a major impact on the Hebrew people was the Assyrian empire. We have another name from the generations after the flood associated to this area. The name was that of Asshur.
Gen 10:22 KJV The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
We have some detailed study of Babylon. If you are here often enough we just finished up a look the end from the beginning. One section we might add to at some point concerned the tower of Babel. Well if you are not familiar we have another name dating all the way back to Genesis 10.
Gen 10:7-12 KJV And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan. (8) And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. (9) He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD. (10) And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. (11) Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah, (12) And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city.
The Media-Persia empire was next. We can also trace its origins back to the biblical lineages of Abraham. This is found in Genesis 25. He remarried late in life and had 6 children.
Gen 25:1-2 KJV Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah. (2) And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.
The Greek and Roman empires most likely developed as a result of the 3rd son of Noah Japheth. His clans settled north and spread west.
Gen 10:1-6 KJV Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood. (2) The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. (3) And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah. (4) And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. (5) By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations. (6) And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.
We will be exploring these 6 empires in detail ABBA Father and Lord Yeshua willing. There are things we may learn that we for sure may not have known before. There are a couple of other subjects being worked on as well that may surface. Many crazy things are taking place around the world right now.
2Ti 3:1-7 KJV This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. (2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (3) Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, (4) Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; (5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (6) For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, (7) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
We will leave things for now with the familiar closing passage.
Mat 11:25-30 KJV At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. (26) Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. (27) All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. (28) Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (29) Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. (30) For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Mic 7:1-7 KJV Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit. (2) The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net. (3) That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up. (4) The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity. (5) Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. (6) For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house. (7) Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
As always thanks for sharing a word
God Bless
