Dan 12:12 KJV
(12) Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
(12) Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
The last word we shared concerning this verse revolved around the primary focus of our responsibilities as believers in sticking to our faith. Or as some leaders may say "clinging to our guns and religion".
Mat 24:11-14 KJV
(11) And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
(12) And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
(13) But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
(14) And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
This is what the big picture is all about in Daniel 12:12. Enduring through hardships in faith and patience is what we covered in our last look at verse 12. The focus with this journey will be what we are patiently waiting for in conjunction with the 1335 days in our study. Numbers have been associated to certain types of events that in some ways shaped patterns in scripture. The first thing we will begin with is by exploring the difference between verses 11 and 12.
Dan 12:11 KJV
(11) And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Dan 12:12 KJV
(12) Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
The first thing we can note is that in the end result we have an additional 45 days added to the 1290. The number 45 or numbers including are found in some interesting places in scripture. The number 45 appears in scripture 14 times under the phrase "forty and five" 14 times in the OT. It is listed once as forty five in one passage from 1st Kings 7.
1Ki 7:3 KJV
(3) And it was covered with cedar above upon the beams, that lay on forty five pillars, fifteen in a row.
In these passages we can find an association to what we could call posterity. For example the first passage involving this pattern has to do with the people and individuals of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Gen 18:28 KJV
(28) Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it.
In this passage we see that the number is used during the bargaining session concerning the remnant of the cities Sodom and Gomorrah.
In the following verses from the book of Numbers we see that multiples including the numbers are associated to the tribe of Gad and the number of men that were war ready.
Num 1:24-26 KJV
(24) Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
(25) Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.
(26) Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
The next passage deals with the seating arrangements for the tribes inside the tabernacle.
Num 2:1-2 KJV
(1) And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
(2) Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father's house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.
Num 2:10-16 KJV
(10) On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their armies: and the captain of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.
(11) And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.
(12) And those which pitch by him shall be the tribe of Simeon: and the captain of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
(13) And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.
(14) Then the tribe of Gad: and the captain of the sons of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel.
(15) And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and five thousand and six hundred and fifty.
(16) All that were numbered in the camp of Reuben were an hundred thousand and fifty and one thousand and four hundred and fifty, throughout their armies. And they shall set forth in the second rank.
The combination of the numbers also appears in the aftermath of the plague which followed the sins of spiritual adultery with the daughters of Moab. This information is found in Numbers 25. In the aftermath of the plague the numbers of the tribes were taken by God's instruction counting those able or old enough for warfare.
Num 26:1-4 KJV
(1) And it came to pass after the plague, that the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,
(2) Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, throughout their fathers' house, all that are able to go to war in Israel.
(3) And Moses and Eleazar the priest spake with them in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,
(4) Take the sum of the people, from twenty years old and upward; as the LORD commanded Moses and the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt.
Num 26:15-18 KJV
(15) The children of Gad after their families: of Zephon, the family of the Zephonites: of Haggi, the family of the Haggites: of Shuni, the family of the Shunites:
(16) Of Ozni, the family of the Oznites: of Eri, the family of the Erites:
(17) Of Arod, the family of the Arodites: of Areli, the family of the Arelites.
(18) These are the families of the children of Gad according to those that were numbered of them, forty thousand and five hundred.
In the passages we see that the tribe of Gad lost 5,150 men. However notice that the numbers for Benjamin and Naphtali come within 200 of matching each other but more so for our purposes the number 45,000 appears for both.
Num 26:38-41 KJV
(38) The sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites: of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites: of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites:
(39) Of Shupham, the family of the Shuphamites: of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites.
(40) And the sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman: of Ard, the family of the Ardites: and of Naaman, the family of the Naamites.(41) These are the sons of Benjamin after their families: and they that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and six hundred.
Num 26:48-50 KJV
(48) Of the sons of Naphtali after their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites: of Guni, the family of the Gunites:
(49) Of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites: of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.
(50) These are the families of Naphtali according to their families: and they that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and four hundred.
In the next passage we discover that Joshua gives us the specific amount of time he had lived after crossing the Jordan into the land of Israel.

Jos 14:7-15 KJV
(7) Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadeshbarnea to espy out the land; and I brought him word again as it was in mine heart.
(8) Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed the LORD my God.
(9) And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children's for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God.
(10) And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old.
(11) As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.
(12) Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said.
(13) And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an inheritance.
(14) Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed the LORD God of Israel.
(15) And the name of Hebron before was Kirjatharba; which Arba was a great man among the Anakims. And the land had rest from war.
After the Babylonian captivity another remnant of folks from Israel is listed in the books of Ezra and Nehemiah. In the case of this remnant we see the diminishing of the number from describing thousands to representing tens of people.
Ezr 2:1-2 KJV
(1) Now these are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;
(2) Which came with Zerubbabel: Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
Ezr 2:8 KJV
(8) The children of Zattu, nine hundred forty and five.
Ezr 2:34 KJV
(34) The children of Jericho, three hundred forty and five.
Ezr 2:66 KJV

(2) That I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he was a faithful man, and feared God above many.
(3) And I said unto them, Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun be hot; and while they stand by, let them shut the doors, and bar them: and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one to be over against his house.
(4) Now the city was large and great: but the people were few therein, and the houses were not builded.
(5) And my God put into mine heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found a register of the genealogy of them which came up at the first, and found written therein,
(6) These are the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity, of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his city;
(7) Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number, I say, of the men of the people of Israel was this;
Neh 7:13 KJV
(13) The children of Zattu, eight hundred forty and five.
Neh 7:36 KJV
(36) The children of Jericho, three hundred forty and five.
Of course these are not all the passages but if you care to check them out or yourself you are welcome. You will most likely discover that the numbers represent much the same even describing household servants. However the passages we looked into will help show the general associations to new beginnings in the lives of the Hebrew people. Some of this proves very interesting when we consider the prophetic calendar we first looked into some while back concerning the tribulation and great tribulation periods. This calendar operates on a 360 day year.
Now it's a given bet some people are saying what does all this have to do with anything brother Al? Well here's a possible explanation that might help in the spirit. Forty five days is equal to 1/8th of a year in this prophetic calendar. The number has a lot of special significance in the Bible. It just so happens that much of this significance is associated to beginnings with the Lord.
Gen 17:1-19 KJV
(1) And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

(3) And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,
(4) As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
(5) Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
(6) And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
(7) And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

(14) And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.
(15) And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.
(16) And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.
(17) Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?
(18) And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!
(19) And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

(4) And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him.
As we can see above the number 8 involves us in some everlasting promises with God. The promises will be explored in the series everlasting promises . Our focus at this moment more involves the functions associated with the number 8. We have discussed in earlier studies the importance of our connections to Jesus and the Lord. The 8 day period or shall we say the 8th day cycle plays a very important role toward pictures of our salvation.
Exo 22:29-31 KJV
(29) Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.
(30) Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen, and with thy sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me.

(22) And two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.
(23) And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD.
Can we say that this has much to do with our Savior Jesus? Quite frankly yes. In our looks into reasons for the seasons, we explore some ancient patterns and how they have representations on both personal and prophetic levels. These aspects centered on what the OT history of Israel teaches us about Jesus in prophecy and also promises which have been and will be kept. In the midst of completing all this of course we discover so much of Jesus' own words.
Ecc 1:9-11 KJV
(9) The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
(10) Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

(16) And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
(17) And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

(27) And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,
(28) Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,
(29) Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:
(30) For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
(31) Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
(32) A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.
If we could pause here for just a moment and take a look at the 6 verses in the KJV of the Bible which contain the phrase 8 days. When we explore these in unison we can see a very important spiritual picture being painted.

The 8 day cycle of circumcision for the newborn son which produces a covenant or marriage contract between us and God. Then we have an 8 day cycle followed 2 times to consecrate the Lord's house and put it back in order. Then we have the spiritual fulfillment of the marriage contract through the circumcision of Jesus. According to Luke an approximate 8 day cycle leads to the Lord's transfiguration and God's declaration to hear Him. Then we have a reuniting of the Lord with His followers.
In the long run is not this scenario what the book of Daniel is all about being reunited with the Lord.
Thanks for sharing a word
God Bless
