Welcome to the World of Biblical Prophecy for History and Today

This Blog is intended to help myself and others gain the best understanding of the world around us through exploration of prophetic scripture. The Bible is the text book. Through these studies we will hopefully provide understanding to both believer and unbeliever alike. The way our God and our Savior Jesus distinguish themselves in the spiritual world is through prophetic means. In other words what the Bible teaches us through fullfillment of these prophecies shows us the truth. Let's take some prophetic journeys through history and at the same time learn about the world around us today. Please try and be patient with any typographical errors as I am my own typist and my own research staff. Thanks

Pestilence Corona By the Numbers

Pestilence (s)
The Corona virus By the Numbers

Mat 24:1-8 KJV  And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.  (2)  And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.  (3)  And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?  (4)  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.  (5)  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.  (6)  And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.  (7)  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilencesG3061, and earthquakes, in divers places.  (8)  All these are the beginning of sorrows.

2Co 5:1-10 KJV  For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.  (2)  For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:  (3)  If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.  (4)  For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.  (5)  Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.  (6)  Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:  (7)  (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)  (8)  We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.  (9)  Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.  (10)  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Rom 1:18-32 KJV  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;  (19)  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.  (20)  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  (21)  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  (22)  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,  (23)  And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.  (24)  Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:  (25)  Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.  (26)  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:  (27)  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.  (28)  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;  (29)  Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,  (30)  Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,  (31)  Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:  (32)  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Well friends it’s a given any one looking at this knows what the corona virus is. We here at the ministry feel that this is of God mostly because the whole world is on its knees. Only God uses such means to bring the world down. Satan uses man therefore using wars and sadistic forms of government to destroy people. Although when dealing with China we see a glimpse of both. If this is Satan’s doings then it passed by the Lord first.

One of the reasons we believe corona is related to something the Lord would do is the Latin meaning to the name.

Webster’s 1828 gives us the following definition.

Corona
CORONA, n. [L., A crown.]
1. In architecture, a large flat member of a cornice, crowning the entablature, and the whole order; called by workmen the drip.
2. In anatomy, the upper surface of the molar teeth or grinders.
3. In botany, the circumference or margin of a radiated compound flower. Also, the appendage to the top of seeds, which enables them to disperse.
4. In optics, a halo or luminous circle around the sun, moon or stars.
In the Latin the word specifically means a crown of laurels. This is something interesting of itself. Our word for crown in the NT as follows. The word crown appears 15 times in the NT. The same word is used throughout the NT.

In the Latin the word specifically means a crown of laurels. This is something interesting of itself. Our word for crown in the NT as follows. The word crown appears 15 times in the NT. The same word is used throughout the NT.

Mat 27:29 KJV  And when they had platted a crownG4735 of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!

Php 4:1 KJV  Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crownG4735, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

Rev 14:14 KJV  And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crownG4735, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

G4735
στέφανος
stephanos
stef'-an-os
From an apparently primary “stepho” (to twine or wreathe); a chaplet (as a badge of royalty, a prize in the public games or a symbol of honor generally; but more conspicuous and elaborate than the simple fillet, G1238), literally or figuratively: - crown.
Total KJV occurrences: 18

We see that the meaning from the Greek applies to one who has one a public game of sorts. Of course as believers our crowns will be awarded based on our faith to God the Father through His Son Yeshua or Jesus Christ.
  1. The Roman crown of laurels was a symbol of victory.
  2. The Greek word study above provides basically the same history.
  3. In the NT we are said to be running a race.
Jesus or Yeshua obtained His crown in heaven and is there now preparing a kingdom for us.

Pestilence (s)

The word only appears in the plural form 2 times in the NT. Guess what they are when Jesus or Yeshua is telling us about the signs of the end of the age.

Mat_24:7  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places

Luk_21:11  And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven

G3061
λοιμός

Of uncertain affinity; a plague (literally the disease, or figuratively a pest): - pestilence (-t).

Total KJV occurrences: 3

The 3rd and last appearance of the word used here for describing Paul before the Roman governor.

Act 24:5 KJV  For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:

In doing our research for this study we noticed something a little bit odd. That in the OT it occurs only in the singular. In the NT it occurs only in the plural and when Jesus speaks the word.

In the OT there is only 1 word we found used throughout for the word pestilence.

H1698
דֶּבֶר
deber
deh'-ber
From H1696 (in the sense of destroying); a pestilence: - murrain, pestilence, plague.
Total KJV occurrences: 49

In this case we decided to include the root word this is derived from as well.

H1696
דָּבַר
dâbar
daw-bar'
A primitive root; perhaps properly to arrange; but used figuratively (of words) to speak; rarely (in a destructive sense) to subdue: - answer, appoint, bid, command, commune, declare, destroy, give, name, promise, pronounce, rehearse, say, speak, be spokesman, subdue, talk, teach, tell, think, use [entreaties], utter, X well, X work.
Total KJV occurrences: 1142

Our first encounter with the word is during God’s plans for the Exodus. Pharaoh is given warning from Moses.

Exo 5:1-3 KJV  And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.  (2)  And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.  (3)  And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.

Exo 9:13-16 KJV  And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.  (14)  For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like me in all the earth.  (15)  For now I will stretch out my hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth.  (16)  And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

We reference somewhat often two passages or chapters in this case which covey punishments for disobedience to the Lord. They are found in Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28. Guess what our word pestilence is found in each with respect to punishments for disobedience.

Lev 26:14-25 KJV  But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;  (15)  And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:  (16)  I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.  (17)  And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.  (18)  And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.  (19)  And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:  (20)  And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.  (21)  And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.  (22)  I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.  (23)  And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;  (24)  Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.  (25)  And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

There are actually 2 verses here we would like to point out then we will ask you a question.

Lev 26:16 KJV  I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

Like we always do we want to bring your attention to the first thing God promised Israel for disobedience. That being terror.

Then of course there is the last verse of this particular passage.

Lev 26:25 KJV  And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

You see these are the things churches should be coming together for. Praying for things like we are not delivered over to our enemies at this point. Praying that the wrong world leaders don’t die as opposed to those wanting to see America fail.

Deu 28:14-22 KJV  And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.  (15)  But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:  (16)  Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.  (17)  Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store.  (18)  Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.  (19)  Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.  (20)  The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.  (21)  The LORD shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it.  (22)  The LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish.

Now the question we ask is does this remind you of America say off and on the last twenty years or so? A lot of people get mad when you bring things like this up sometimes. However we all killed Jesus whether you like it or not. As a nation we have a lot of murdered children which is called abortion to answer for. We also decided we did not like God in our schools very much and in the early part of that school year(1963) we lost a president. A president who did nothing by the way to keep God in school.

At this point we want to stop and share another word study. The word plague and pestilence in the Hebrew language of the Bible have very different meanings. The word for plague in Hebrew as follows.

Exo 11:1 KJV  And the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plagueH5061 more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.

H5061
נֶגַע
nega‛
neh'-gah
From H5060; a blow (figuratively infliction); also (by implication) a spot (concretely a leprous person or dress): - plague, sore, stricken, stripe, stroke, wound.
Total KJV occurrences: 78

Now let’s make a quick comparison to the word for pestilence.

H1698
דֶּבֶר
deber
deh'-ber
From H1696 (in the sense of destroying); a pestilence: - murrain, pestilence, plague.

Total KJV occurrences: 49

The word pestilence here in Hebrew clearly defines this word as destroying. This means casualties in every sense of the word. This is a separate thing altogether from a plague which does not carry such a violent description. It definitely describes what the world is experiencing right now. Amen!?

That’s why we have called this pestilence a pestilence because that is exactly what it is. Jesus teaches us something very important with regard to the state of affairs within America.

Luk 11:14-28 KJV  And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered.  (15)  But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.  (16)  And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven.  (17)  But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.  (18)  If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.  (19)  And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.  (20)  But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.  (21)  When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:  (22)  But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.  (23)  He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.  (24)  When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.  (25)  And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.  (26)  Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.  (27)  And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.  (28)  But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it

There are 2 reasons for looking at this entire passage The 1st half of the passage is a warning about divided kingdoms and more importantly how they fall. America thanks to a few sore losers has become very divided and even this act of pestilence we feel is sent by God is not uniting but dividing even further. Large churches or “mega” churches are not worth their salt in my home area right now. Not doing a bit of good for the Lord. Folks the Sunday sermon should be when God sends a pestilence run to Him not From Him. Amen!?

The last part of the passage we included because in addition to our apparitions studies Mary seems to show up when the world is at war and in a pestilence. Remember in the Fatima apparitions she showed up during WW1 and the last great pandemic the Spanish flu. The world is at war with terror right now. A couple of my favorite Bible teachers are suggesting the devil has come to claim 1 last generation of prayer warriors before things really unravel. This could be which ever you prefer it all passed by God first. Amen!

Some other verses that pertain to the pestilence the world is experiencing.

Num 14:11-12 KJV  And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?  (12)  I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they.

2Sa 24:13-16 KJV  So Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land? or wilt thou flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue thee? or that there be three days' pestilence in thy land? now advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that sent me.  (14)  And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.  (15)  So the LORD sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan even to Beersheba seventy thousand men.  (16)  And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite.

1Ch 21:11-16 KJV  So Gad came to David, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Choose thee  (12)  Either three years' famine; or three months to be destroyed before thy foes, while that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee; or else three days the sword of the LORD, even the pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the LORD destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now therefore advise thyself what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.  (13)  And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall now into the hand of the LORD; for very great are his mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man.  (14)  So the LORD sent pestilence upon Israel: and there fell of Israel seventy thousand men.  (15)  And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the LORD beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.  (16)  And David lifted up his eyes, and saw the angel of the LORD stand between the earth and the heaven, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders of Israel, who were clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.

2Ch 7:13-16 KJV  If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;  (14)  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.  (15)  Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.  (16)  For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

By the way America just a subtle reminder that the pestilence God sent here was due to a counting of the people. We are or were having a census taken this year in the United States.

Psa 78:42-55 KJV  They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.  (43)  How he had wrought his signs in Egypt, and his wonders in the field of Zoan:  (44)  And had turned their rivers into blood; and their floods, that they could not drink.  (45)  He sent divers sorts of flies among them, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them.  (46)  He gave also their increase unto the caterpiller, and their labour unto the locust.  (47)  He destroyed their vines with hail, and their sycomore trees with frost.  (48)  He gave up their cattle also to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts.  (49)  He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.  (50)  He made a way to his anger; he spared not their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence;  (51)  And smote all the firstborn in Egypt; the chief of their strength in the tabernacles of Ham:  (52)  But made his own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.  (53)  And he led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.  (54)  And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, even to this mountain, which his right hand had purchased.  (55)  He cast out the heathen also before them, and divided them an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.

The thing we are trying to stress here friends is that God always sends the pestilence. That’s the best reason to think that God the Father is doing this. Now let’s recap a little bit before we get to what we call the numbers portion of our study.

The word corona in Latin means crown of laurels which was awarded for some sort of distinguished feat or service. Sort of like ancient Olympic athletes. Our Lord and Savior performed the most distinguished act He possibly could have. God the Father crowned Him in heaven. Amen!

Another good reason to believe that this is of the Lord is the nations that include both where this started and those who have had relations with God’s chosen then and now and look at the numbers as we simply like to say.

China where the outbreak began is notorious for persecuting to the point of murder of their Christian population. Nations like Italy home of the Roman empire in biblical prophecy which destroyed Jerusalem and the temple among other things. Iran who had prophetic kindness for the Jewish people now want to “wipe Israel off the map”. Iraq or the Babylonian empire of prophecy Of course we will be watching the numbers of the United States and the UK as well as the world figures.

Well folks we have arrived at a moment we really do not like to come to. This is the part where we will be exploring on a weekly basis if not more often some figures. These figures are quite simply these. The actual number of reported cases divided by the reported number of deaths.

These are figures no one seems to be sharing. They are based on actual number of cases divided by the death toll not some per capita crap that keeps the numbers low. All the numbers we are using come from the coronavirus worldometer. Also China will not be monitored as quite frankly here at the ministry we don’t trust their numbers.

For example at the moment we are preparing this study Italy is running the highest mortality rate in the world we believe. For example as of 4/2/2020 at 9:40 PM est.

Italy
115,242 cases / 13,915 deaths  = 1 in 8.28 dying

Now just for the scope of magnitude and so forth we will keep these figures on Friday evenings as we have our Bible studies on Saturdays. We cannot guarantee but we will try to keep what we call actual fatality rates in order from worst to least for approximately 20 nations unless it becomes too much.

Let’ start with Italy’s totals from 3/22/2020
59138 cases 5476 deaths = 1 in 10.79 dying
Now 4/3/2020
119,827 cases 14681 deaths = 1 in 8.16  you can see the dramatic increases in the numbers for yourself so we won’t take time for those numbers

Iraq
3/22/2020 233 cases 20 deaths = 1 in 11.65 dying
4/3/2020 820 cases 54 deaths = 1 in 15.85 dying

Well friends this is why we call this study pestilence by the numbers and by the definition. All of Jesus’ words are of the most extreme importance. As we explored earlier He tells us that we can expect pestilences in the beginnings of sorrows.

Mat_24:7  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places

Luk_21:11  And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

We also covered several verses and passages which tell us 1 thing in every case. God sent the pestilence regardless of who He sent it upon.

Jer 14:12 KJV  When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.

Jer 21:6 KJV  And I will smite the inhabitants of this city, both man and beast: they shall die of a great pestilence.

Jer 27:8 KJV  And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.

Jer 28:8 KJV  The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.

Eze 5:12 KJV  A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.

Eze 5:17 KJV  So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the LORD have spoken it.

Eze 6:12 KJV  He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.

Eze 7:15 KJV  The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.

Eze 14:19-20 KJV  Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast:  (20)  Though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.

Amo 4:9-10 KJV  I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.  (10)  I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

However also friends that same God the Father is THE 1 who redeems us as well.

Psa 91:1-11 KJV  He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  (2)  I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.  (3)  Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.  (4)  He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.  (5)  Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;  (6)  Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.  (7)  A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.  (8)  Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.  (9)  Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;  (10)  There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.  (11)  For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Psa 124:1-8 KJV  A Song of degrees of David. If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;  (2)  If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:  (3)  Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:  (4)  Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:  (5)  Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.  (6)  Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.  (7)  Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.  (8)  Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

Psa 121:1-8 KJV  A Song of degrees. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  (2)  My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.  (3)  He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.  (4)  Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.  (5)  The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.  (6)  The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.  (7)  The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.  (8)  The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Mat 11:20-30 KJV  Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:  (21)  Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.  (22)  But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.  (23)  And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.  (24)  But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.  (25)  At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.  (26)  Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.  (27)  All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.  (28)  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  (29)  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  (30)  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

2Co 12:9-10 KJV  And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  (10)  Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Php 4:1-14 KJV  Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.  (2)  I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.  (3)  And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.  (4)  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.  (5)  Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.  (6)  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  (7)  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  (8)  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.  (9)  Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.  (10)  But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.  (11)  Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.  (12)  I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.  (13)  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.  (14)  Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.

Joh 14:1-7 KJV  Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.  (2)  In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  (3)  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.  (4)  And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.  (5)  Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?  (6)  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  (7)  If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

2Ti 4:1-9 KJV  I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;  (2)  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.  (3)  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  (4)  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.  (5)  But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.  (6)  For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.  (7)  I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:  (8)  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.  (9)  Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:

1Pe 5:1-7 KJV  The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:  (2)  Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;  (3)  Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.  (4)  And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.  (5)  Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.  (6)  Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:  (7)  Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Rev 2:7-11 KJV  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.  (8)  And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;  (9)  I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.  (10)  Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.  (11)  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Rev 3:7-13 KJV  And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;  (8)  I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.  (9)  Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.  (10)  Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.  (11)  Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.  (12)  Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.  (13)  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Luk 21:29-36 KJV  And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;  (30)  When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.  (31)  So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.  (32)  Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.  (33)  Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.  (34)  And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.  (35)  For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.  (36)  Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Rev 16:15 KJV  Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

2Co 5:7 KJV  (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

As always thanks for sharing a word
