Welcome to the World of Biblical Prophecy for History and Today

This Blog is intended to help myself and others gain the best understanding of the world around us through exploration of prophetic scripture. The Bible is the text book. Through these studies we will hopefully provide understanding to both believer and unbeliever alike. The way our God and our Savior Jesus distinguish themselves in the spiritual world is through prophetic means. In other words what the Bible teaches us through fullfillment of these prophecies shows us the truth. Let's take some prophetic journeys through history and at the same time learn about the world around us today. Please try and be patient with any typographical errors as I am my own typist and my own research staff. Thanks

The Right Hand of the LORD 1

The Right Hand of the LORD 1

Mat 26:36-39 KJV  Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.  (37)  And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.  (38)  Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.  (39)  And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

Mat 26:40-46 KJV  And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?  (41)  Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.  (42)  He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.  (43)  And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.  (44)  And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.  (45)  Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.  (46)  Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.

Mat 26:47-51 KJV  And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.  (48)  Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast.  (49)  And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.  (50)  And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him.  (51)  And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear.

Mat 26:52-56 KJV  Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.  (53)  Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?  (54)  But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?  (55)  In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.  (56)  But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

Mat 26:57-64 KJV  And they that had laid hold on Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.  (58)  But Peter followed him afar off unto the high priest's palace, and went in, and sat with the servants, to see the end.  (59)  Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;  (60)  But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses,  (61)  And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.  (62)  And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?  (63)  But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.  (64)  Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right handG1188of powerG1411, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Hello friends. We are starting a different undertaking along with many others we started recently. A while back actually way back we did a series of 4 studies. They were titled Reasons for the Seasons. In one segment we believe it was part 3 we started looking at the right hand of God. We have been wanting to look into this for a little while now. So among other things such as the horsemen studies for example we will occasionally be visiting this subject. So here we go.

Mar 14:61-62 KJV  But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?  (62)  And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Luk 22:62-71 KJV  And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.  (63)  And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him.  (64)  And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?  (65)  And many other things blasphemously spake they against him.  (66)  And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,  (67)  Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:  (68)  And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go.  (69)  Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.  (70)  Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.  (71)  And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.

We would have to stress at this point that we remember the definition of power above. This is important we feel to where we are going with these journeys. Remember that the definition tells us that this power is that doing miraculous things. As we develop these new studies we will discover that the right hand of the LORD was credited with many miracles.

Exo 14:26-31 KJV  And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.  (27)  And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.  (28)  And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.  (29)  But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.  (30)  Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.  (31)  And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.

Exo 15:1-6 KJV  Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.  (2)  The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.  (3)  The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.  (4)  Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.  (5)  The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.  (6)  Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right handH3225,O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.

The right hand was apparently the hand that you wanted to be under when it comes to being blessed.

Gen 48:11-22 KJV  And Israel said unto Joseph, I had not thought to see thy face: and, lo, God hath shewed me also thy seed.  (12)  And Joseph brought them out from between his knees, and he bowed himself with his face to the earth.  (13)  And Joseph took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward Israel's left hand, and Manasseh in his left hand toward Israel's right hand, and brought them near unto him.  (14)  And Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid it upon Ephraim's head, who was the younger, and his left hand upon Manasseh's head, guiding his hands wittingly; for Manasseh was the firstborn.  (15)  And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day,  (16)  The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.  (17)  And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father's hand, to remove it from Ephraim's head unto Manasseh's head.  (18)  And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head.  (19)  And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.  (20)  And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall Israel bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.  (21)  And Israel said unto Joseph, Behold, I die: but God shall be with you, and bring you again unto the land of your fathers.  (22)  Moreover I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren, which I took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.

Exo 15:7-14 KJV  And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble.  (8)  And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.  (9)  The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.  (10)  Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.  (11)  Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?  (12)  Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.  (13)  Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.  (14)  The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.

Deu 33:1-4 KJV  And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.  (2)  And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.  (3)  Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words.  (4)  Moses commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.

Job 40:1-14 KJV  Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said,  (2)  Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.  (3)  Then Job answered the LORD, and said,  (4)  Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.  (5)  Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.  (6)  Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,  (7)  Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.  (8)  Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?  (9)  Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?  (10)  Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.  (11)  Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.  (12)  Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.  (13)  Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.  (14)  Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.

Psa 16:1-11 KJV  Michtam of David. Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.  (2)  O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;  (3)  But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.  (4)  Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.  (5)  The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.  (6)  The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.  (7)  I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.  (8)  I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.  (9)  Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.  (10)  For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.  (11)  Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Psa 16:8 KJV  I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Here in verse 8 we will turn to Albert Barnes’ Notes on the Bible. He gives us an explanation for what the right hand signifies.

Psalms 16:8

I have set the Lord always before me - By night as well as by day; in my private meditations as well as in my public professions. I have regarded myself always as in the presence of God; I have endeavored always to feel that, his eye was upon me. This, too, is one of the certain characteristics of piety, that we always feel that we are in the presence of God, and that we always act as if his eye were upon us. Compare the notes at Act_2:25.

Because he is at my right hand - The right hand was regarded as the post of honor and dignity, but it is also mentioned as a position of defense or protection. To have one at our right hand is to have one near us who can defend us. Thus, in Psa_109:31, “He shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him,” etc. So Psa_110:5, “The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.” Psa_121:5, “the Lord is thy Keeper; the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.” The idea is, that as we use the right hand in our “own” defense, we seem to have an additional and a needed helper when one is at our right hand. The sense here is, that the psalmist felt that God, as his Protector, was always near him; always ready to interpose for his defense. We have a somewhat similar expression when we say of anyone that he is “at hand;” that is, he is near us.

I shall not be moved - I shall be safe; I shall not be disturbed by fear; I shall be protected from my enemies. See Psa_10:6; Psa_15:5. Compare Psa_46:5. The language here is that of one who has confidence in God in time of great calamities, and who feels that he is safe under the divine favor and protection.

Mat 26:62-64 KJV  And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?  (63)  But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.  (64)  Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Psa 17:1-15 KJV  A Prayer of David. Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.  (2)  Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.  (3)  Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.  (4)  Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.  (5)  Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.  (6)  I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.  (7)  Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.  (8)  Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,  (9)  From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.  (10)  They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.  (11)  They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;  (12)  Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.  (13)  Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:  (14)  From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.  (15)  As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

Psa 17:7 KJV  Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.

Mat 25:31-34 KJV  When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:  (32)  And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:  (33)  And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.  (34)  Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Psa 18:31-37 KJV  For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?  (32)  It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.  (33)  He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places.  (34)  He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.  (35)  Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.  (36)  Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.  (37)  I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.

Psa 18:35 KJV  Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.

Eph 6:10-20 KJV  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.  (11)  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  (12)  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  (13)  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  (14)  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;  (15)  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;  (16)  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.  (17)  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:  (18)  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;  (19)  And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,  (20)  For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Act 5:25-32 KJV  Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.  (26)  Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.  (27)  And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,  (28)  Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.  (29)  Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.  (30)  The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.  (31)  Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.  (32)  And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Psa 20:1-9 KJV  To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;  (2)  Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;  (3)  Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.  (4)  Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.  (5)  We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.  (6)  Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.  (7)  Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.  (8)  They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.  (9)  Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.

Psa 20:6 KJV  Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.

Rom 8:27-34 KJV  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.  (28)  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.  (29)  For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.  (30)  Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.  (31)  What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?  (32)  He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?  (33)  Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.  (34)  Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Rom 8:35-39 KJV  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  (36)  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.  (37)  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.  (38)  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,  (39)  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Psa 21:1-13 KJV  To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!  (2)  Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.  (3)  For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.  (4)  He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.  (5)  His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.  (6)  For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.  (7)  For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.  (8)  Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.  (9)  Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.  (10)  Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.  (11)  For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.  (12)  Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.  (13)  Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.

Psa 21:8 KJV  Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.

Joh 3:12-17 KJV  If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?  (13)  And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.  (14)  And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:  (15)  That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.  (16)  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  (17)  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Joh 3:18-21 KJV  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  (19)  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.  (20)  For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.  (21)  But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Psa 44:1-8 KJV  To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, Maschil. We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old.  (2)  How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.  (3)  For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.  (4)  Thou art my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob.  (5)  Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.  (6)  For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.  (7)  But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.  (8)  In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah.

Psa 44:3 KJV  For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.

Eph 1:1-12 KJV  Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:  (2)  Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.  (3)  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:  (4)  According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:  (5)  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,  (6)  To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.  (7)  In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;  (8)  Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;  (9)  Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:  (10)  That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:  (11)  In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:  (12)  That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

Eph 1:13-23 KJV  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,  (14)  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.  (15)  Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,  (16)  Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;  (17)  That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:  (18)  The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,  (19)  And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,  (20)  Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,  (21)  Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:  (22)  And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,  (23)  Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Here in our final look at the right hand of God for this journey we will look at Psalm 48. If you remember we did this recently in our Acharon studies. Same Psalm different subject today. However this Psalm is another of those passages throughout scripture which spiritually detail the life, death, burial and resurrection of Yeshua or Jesus. It details the 20th century restoration of Israel or more importantly Jerusalem. It does this by detailing the restoration of Israel 14 May 1948. Some folks feel that this is just one of many Psalms that fulfill very unusual prophetic patterns regarding history.

For example the book of Psalms is the 19th book of the Bible. In the 48th chapter we find the restoration of the nation and city of Jerusalem. The restoration again took place in 1948. This is a very unique teaching. If this type of thing interests you we would recommend the late Dr. J.R. Church.

Psa 48:1-14 KJV  A Song and Psalm for the sons of Korah. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.  (2)  Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.  (3)  God is known in her palaces for a refuge.  (4)  For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.  (5)  They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.  (6)  Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.  (7)  Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.  (8)  As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah.  (9)  We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.  (10)  According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.  (11)  Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.  (12)  Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.  (13)  Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.  (14)  For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

Psa 48:10 KJV  According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.

Friends the only reason this world has made it the last 2020 years was because of what our Savior did on the cross. I prefer to say that every breath of air and blink of my eyes belongs to Yeshua. We would also prefer to say that Yeshua is that right hand of ABBA Father. That the right hand full of righteousness above is Yeshua. Amen!

Mat 28:1-10 KJV  In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.  (2)  And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.  (3)  His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:  (4)  And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.  (5)  And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.  (6)  He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.  (7)  And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.  (8)  And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.  (9)  And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.  (10)  Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

Mar 14:60-62 KJV  And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?  (61)  But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?  (62)  And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Mar 16:9-20 KJV  Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.  (10)  And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.  (11)  And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.  (12)  After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.  (13)  And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.  (14)  Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.  (15)  And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  (16)  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.  (17)  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;  (18)  They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.  (19)  So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.  (20)  And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Rev 22:7 KJV  Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

As always thanks for sharing a word
