Welcome to the World of Biblical Prophecy for History and Today

This Blog is intended to help myself and others gain the best understanding of the world around us through exploration of prophetic scripture. The Bible is the text book. Through these studies we will hopefully provide understanding to both believer and unbeliever alike. The way our God and our Savior Jesus distinguish themselves in the spiritual world is through prophetic means. In other words what the Bible teaches us through fullfillment of these prophecies shows us the truth. Let's take some prophetic journeys through history and at the same time learn about the world around us today. Please try and be patient with any typographical errors as I am my own typist and my own research staff. Thanks

The Right Hand of the Lord 2

The Right Hand of the Lord 2
Majesty, Meekness and Truth

Mar 14:53-62 KJV  And they led Jesus away to the high priest: and with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.  (54)  And Peter followed him afar off, even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire.  (55)  And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none.  (56)  For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together.  (57)  And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying,  (58)  We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.  (59)  But neither so did their witness agree together.  (60)  And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?  (61)  But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?  (62)  And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Eph 1:1-12 KJV  Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:  (2)  Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.  (3)  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:  (4)  According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:  (5)  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,  (6)  To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.  (7)  In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;  (8)  Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;  (9)  Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:  (10)  That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:  (11)  In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:  (12)  That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

Eph 1:13-23 KJV  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,  (14)  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.  (15)  Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,  (16)  Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;  (17)  That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:  (18)  The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,  (19)  And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,  (20)  Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,  (21)  Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:  (22)  And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,  (23)  Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Psa 45:1-17 KJV  To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A Song of loves. My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.  (2)  Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.  (3)  Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.  (4)  And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.  (5)  Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.  (6)  Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.  (7)  Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.  (8)  All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.  (9)  Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.  (10)  Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house;  (11)  So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.  (12)  And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.  (13)  The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.  (14)  She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.  (15)  With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace.  (16)  Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.  (17)  I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.

Hello again friends. Welcome to the 2nd of our journeys exploring the right hand of the LORD. We closed out part 1 exploring the perspective that Yeshua/Jesus is that right hand of the LORD. We looked into a couple of things that the right hand of the LORD accomplished. Let’s explore another fact that we discovered in part 1.

When considering the power of the LORD all of these are very appropriate definitions indeed. We especially like pointing out that this is means the power to perform miracles.

When considering the power of the LORD we have to remember 1 very important thing. That being Yeshua/Jesus existed as ABBA Father’s Son in heaven before He came to earth. He was at the right hand of ABBA Father a long time in heaven before He gave it all up to come down and die for us. Amen!

There are some out there who might beg to differ with that history. Well we know Satan was in the garden as early as Genesis 3. The fall may have well taken place before that time. The point being Yeshua/Jesus told us something about Satan and his fall.

Luk 10:17-24 KJV  And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.  (18)  And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.  (19)  Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.  (20)  Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.  (21)  In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.  (22)  All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.  (23)  And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:  (24)  For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

You cannot be witness to Satan’s fall unless you were in heaven. Amen!

Yeshua/Jesus was up there with ABBA Father for a lot of things that took place in biblical history.

Before we move further along let’s look at Psalm 45:4 one more time.

Psa 45:4 KJV  And in thy majestyH1926 ride prosperously because of truthH571 and meeknessH6037 and righteousnessH6664;and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

Almost every word in this verse tells us about our Messiah.

  2. Truth
  3. Meekness

Let’s explore these a little bit. After all this is not a subject that we have to rush through by any means.

Selah.  (3)  For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.  (4)  He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.  (5)  His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.  (6)  For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.  (7)  For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.  (8)  Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.  (9)  Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.  (10)  Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.  (11)  For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.  (12)  Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.  (13)  Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.

Psa 29:4 KJV  The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

Psa 96:1-13 KJV  O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.  (2)  Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.  (3)  Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.  (4)  For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.  (5)  For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.  (6)  Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.  (7)  Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.  (8)  Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.  (9)  O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.  (10)  Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.  (11)  Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.  (12)  Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice  (13)  Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

Psa 96:6 KJV  Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

This is a very prophetic Psalm. It glorifies ABBA Father throughout. It warns us of the coming judgment. There is someone else who is going to play a great part in all this. That being Yeshua/Jesus our Savior and Messiah.

Heb 1:1-7 KJV  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,  (2)  Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;  (3)  Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;  (4)  Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.  (5)  For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?  (6)  And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.  (7)  And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

Heb 8:1-6 KJV  Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;  (2)  A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.  (3)  For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.  (4)  For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:  (5)  Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.  (6)  But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

2Pe 1:14-21 KJV  Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.  (15)  Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.  (16)  For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.  (17)  For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.  (18)  And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.  (19)  We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:  (20)  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.  (21)  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Rev 19:11-15 KJV  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  (12)  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.  (13)  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.  (14)  And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.  (15)  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Psa 45:4 KJV  And in thy majestyH1926 ride prosperously because of truthH571 and meeknessH6037 and righteousnessH6664;and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

In the NT there are 2 words used a lot for truth. Yeshua/Jesus used them both.

Mat 5:17-19 KJV  Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.  (18)  For verilyG281I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.  (19)  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

In other words to speak or say something truthfully in this case. Yeshua/Jesus used this word using our best count 101 times.

Mat 13:10-17 KJV  And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?  (11)  He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.  (12)  For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.  (13)  Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.  (14)  And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:  (15)  For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.  (16)  But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.  (17)  For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Mat 19:16-24 KJV  And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?  (17)  And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.  (18)  He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,  (19)  Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  (20)  The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?  (21)  Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.  (22)  But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.  (23)  Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.  (24)  And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Now the word truth itself is used by Yeshua by our best count is 26 times. With again according to our best count 2 different words are used by Him.

Two other words used here. When using this word Yeshua is usually describing a passage of scripture prophesying of Him.

The word meek on the other hand is found 13 times in the OT. The same word we see here is th1 used thoughout.
Num 12:3 KJV  (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)

In a prophetic Psalm about our Savior we find the following verse

Psa 22:26 KJV  The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

Psa 25:1-9 KJV  A Psalm of David. Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.  (2)  O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.  (3)  Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.  (4)  Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.  (5)  Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.  (6)  Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.  (7)  Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.  (8)  Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.  (9)  The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

Psa 37:1-11 KJV  A Psalm of David. Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.  (2)  For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.  (3)  Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.  (4)  Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.  (5)  Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.  (6)  And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.  (7)  Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.  (8)  Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.  (9)  For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.  (10)  For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.  (11)  But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Of course our Lord and Savior Yeshua/Jesus echoed this very verse in the Beatitudes.

Mat 5:5 KJV  Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Psa 76:1-12 KJV  To the chief Musician on Neginoth, A Psalm or Song of Asaph. In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel.  (2)  In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.  (3)  There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.  (4)  Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.  (5)  The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.  (6)  At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.  (7)  Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?  (8)  Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,  (9)  When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.  (10)  Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.  (11)  Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.  (12)  He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.

Psa 147:1-8 KJV  Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.  (2)  The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.  (3)  He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.  (4)  He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.  (5)  Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.  (6)  The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.  (7)  Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:  (8)  Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

Psa 149:1-9 KJV  Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.  (2)  Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.  (3)  Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.  (4)  For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.  (5)  Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.  (6)  Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;  (7)  To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;  (8)  To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;  (9)  To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

Psa 149:4 KJV  For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

From a passage we have seen a lot lately the 7 spirits of God that will be used to judge the earth. We will probably see this again when we start to explore righteousness.

Isa 11:1-5 KJV  And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:  (2)  And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;  (3)  And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:  (4)  But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.  (5)  And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

Isa 29:19 KJV  The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

Isa 61:1-4 KJV  The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;  (2)  To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;  (3)  To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.  (4)  And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

Mat 11:25-30 KJV  At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.  (26)  Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.  (27)  All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.  (28)  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  (29)  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  (30)  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Rev 22:7 KJV  Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

As always thanks for sharing a word
